If I could give a 0 I would! I will NEVER go back to Dr. Krape's office, 700 Federal Highway, Lake Park, Florida, 33403 ..PH - 561-257-2580. I went for teeth whitening. I take great pride in my dental hygiene and was ONLY going for a boost for a brighter smile. The room I was taken to had dirty old carpet, very old chair, very old equipment, and it smelled. Everything was old. The window I looked out of was full of spider webs and cracked. When I laid back and looked to the right, I saw movement in a dark room connected to mine that was really creepy looking with things hanging from the ceiling. When I asked what was going on in the room I was told "massage and face work". The lady doing the whitening said she was a dentist in another country and I could barely understand her. I do not even see the lady on the "Meet the staff and doctors" page. She began by taking impressions of my teeth for after care treatment. I don't even know of a dentist these days that still uses the trays with putty like material. As she was mixing the putty like material for the impression, she dropped the spatula used to mix it on the floor. She wiped it off with a paper towel and sprayed it with the white spray bottle that seemed to be what is used to wipe counters. Then she came in with teeth colors to match mine, I'm assuming to compare the before and after. She chose teeth colors that were much darker and yellower than my teeth. She put the material around my gums to protect them from the whitening. She was shoving gauze with sharp utensils above and below my gums. She didn't even bother staying in the room with me during the two 15-minute zoom whitening sessions. She came back into the room when there was about 2-3 minutes left each time. And, she wore a mask but didn't cover her nose. There were multiple times I just wanted to get up and leave, but I couldn't given that I was in the middle of the procedure. After the teeth whitening, she used tweezers to rip the gauze off of my gums. The material to protect my gums had dried and hardened on the gauze and as a result she ripped my gums in a couple of places. I now have an infection around my gums and have gone to another dentist to treat the infection (clearly would NEVER trust them to go back). My teeth do NOT look any whiter than before I went in. In fact, my gums and teeth were in much better shape before she aggressively did each step of the teeth whitening procedure. Does this woman have the credentials needed to complete the Zoom whitening process in the US in a dentist's office? Again, when I checked Dr. Krape's website, she is not even listed on the meet the staff page. Dr. Krape's office should be extremely embarrassed and ashamed for the LACK THERE OF a simple zoom whitening treatment! I chose not to contact them about my experience because I do not want them to touch my mouth ever again. read more

Great dentist! My family and ours neighbors have been going to Dr.Krape for years! What makes this office special is the friendly, caring and efficient staff! Starting with Miss Sheila at the front desk! She is the sweetest person ever and sets my mind at ease! The hygienist are all gentle and do a great job. I must also mention the building is formerly one of Lake Parks historic homes! Just beautiful inside! The waiting area has a lovely view of the park! I recommend Dr. Krape. Best dentist office ever. The Doctors and the staff are GREAT! I was so scared, but they were patient, kind and polite. They did not hesitate to take care of me, they call me every day to see how I'm feeling. They treated everyone with respect. I was ashamed of how my teeth looked and they assured me I had nothing to be ashamed of and before I could chicken out, Dr Vojdanoski had me in a chair, starting my procedure. He and his assistant spoke to me the whole time and told me how great I was doing. This office set the bar for all dentist offices. If other dentists treat you like they do, no one would be afraid to visit the dentist. This was not just one visit, this was every visit. Thanks to them, my fear of the was squashed. Place was very clean, staff and front desk were also very nice and professional. I found the staff to be totally incompetent, especially the office manager, Sheila. My mother had a problem with one of her teeth and I was repeatedly told that their dentists could not treat her and that I would have to fly her 1500 miles back to her summer residence to be treated by her dentist there. When I asked why she couldn't be treated by one of their dentist's, the only answer I received was, "she has to go back to her other dentist"! In my opinion, that is an unacceptable answer. In conclusion, I was able to find a wonderful, competent and experienced dentist in the immediate area who was able to evaluate my mom's issues and successfully treat her. I would NEVER recommend this dental practice to anyone! read more

I've been coming here for about 4 or 5 years, and have had a couple of crowns and a couple of fillings done here in that time, along with a bunch of cleanings and check ups. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the visits are usually pretty quick. The only reason I didn't go for the full 5 stars is that, while I love the old house that this office is in (right on US1 across the street from Kelsey Park), the equipment they use is a little dated, and the temps in the suites and waiting area are a little on the warmer side. They are quick to bring a fan in when I ask for one, though, and fall all over themselves to make sure I'm comfortable after I ask. The most important thing is that I've not had any problems with my dental work over the years, and I'm a pretty "aggressive eater" when it comes to crunchy and gritty foods, so I'm happy with them. read more

I would give 0 stars if there were an option. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever been to. The first experience I had with this office was made for a teeth cleaning. I arrived at my appointment 15 minuets early. After waiting in the office for 45 minuets, yes, 30 minuets after my appointment, I was called into the office. I was informed that they did not have time allocated to perform the teeth cleaning. Instead, they suggested that I have x-rays taken. I was confused about not having the time to clean my teeth considering I had been waiting in the lobby for 45 minuets, however, I obliged and made another appointment 4 weeks later for the cleaning. I went to the office for my cleaning appointment at 9:30. This time, I did not arrive until 9:33, as I was caught at a bridge crossing. When I checked in for my appointment, I was informed that because I was late they gave my appointment away. Shocked, I pulled out my phone and said "it's 9:33, it's only 3 minuets past the appointment time. The last time I was here, you had me waiting for 30 minuets after my scheduled appointment. This time I am 3 minuets late and you give away the appointment?" It is at this time, the hear condescending voice of one of the employees: "Tim, Tim, Tim, Saturdays are busy and we run a tight schedule. It is your responsibility to be on time. If you are not on time, your appointment is passed up." Enraged, I reiterated my last experience at the office. The woman continued to say, you need to be on time. Completely ignoring the fact that the last time I was early and had to wait 30 minuets past the scheduled appointment. I said to her "I caught the god damned bridge". At this point, the entire office became aghast that I was now "swearing". Now my mind is blown. As I walked out the door, I said "piss off you unprofessional pieces of shit". Apparently, the usage of this verbiage was enough to have the woman who was previously condescending me follow me out the door and lambaste me for using inappropriate language. I turned around and presented her with the New Jersey state bird, i.e., both middle fingers, which, apparently was enough for this woman to feel threatened, so she called the police. In summary, this place is terrible. The staff is unprofessional and discourteous. I wouldn't recommend this dental office if it was the last on the planet and your teeth were rotting out of your head. read more
