I am a new patient to Dr Kyle Kromrey and he is fabulous. He explains each process step by step! Very compassionate and caring with patients. I am a big baby when it comes to the dentist and he makes every visit a joy! Haven't said that in many many years!! Thank you for being you, Dr. Kromrey! Professional and knowledgeable! Now let's move on to the hygienist, Karla! What a gem! Karla is kinda and considerate and funny!! Richard was helping Dr. Kromrey with my crown today. Hands down the best dentist I've ever been to. I've had some really bad experiences other places and I have been terrified to go back to a dentist. After reading the reviews I decided to try this place because I really needed help. The office ladies are amazing. So nice. And all of the assistant technicians were also extremely nice. Everyone here is just nice and helpful. And Dr Morgan was the most skilled dentist I've ever been too. She had a lot of work to do to redo a crown and she did it all in four visits and I was calm cool collected the whole time with how amazing she did. I was terrified to ever have work done again but she is so skilled and so nice now I'm not scared at all. I will go back to her as long as I can! No pain. Everyone is nice. And superb work. I have had several reschedules a day or two before my appointment. I do not feel like they put patients in priority and push my appointment out another month. I would not recommend this unprofessional establishment for anyone. Please do some research and find another dentist who will treat their customers with priority if there are issues. This is in response to Palms since I cannot respond under you. Totally understand illness but when your associate who calls me and says the dentist is out on personal leave, then calls back when I can't reschedule and says a different reason, the stories don't match up. Note, also this wasn't the only incident that I was rescheduled and pushed around so justifiable or not, not professional. No harm no foul, just will lose my business. Hopefully will be more upfront with your new customers and learn from this. read more

I'm not saying Dr. Kyle Kromrey graduated top of the class but I'd like to think he was.... how else could someone explain how top notch this dentist is. Not just with his bedside manner, knowledge and patience but also the support staff he employs. I first came to Palms Dental Care because I needed to see a periodontist; one of the best parts of this practice is they offer so many services beyond the dentist. After my initial periodontal treatments I never left and continued my regular cleanings under the watchful eye of Dr. Kromrey. I had to have my wisdom teeth pulled; no need to find another specialist (once again done in-house)... then I needed a root canal... no need to find another specialist (once again done in-house)... see the pattern; everything can be handled here (without being one of those dental chains that seem to have a replacement doctor every other week) Going to the dentist may suck... but if you have to go, why not go to where they make you feel welcome and very professional; see Dr. Kromrey (and it doesn't hurt that he and many of the other doctors graduated from University of Florida... I've been going to Palms Dental since moving to FL several years ago and I am very impressed with the practice. Dr. Kromrey is excellent. He communicates very well and he is meticulous and proficient. His assistant Rawan is also excellent. The vibe in the office is very positive and the staff is welcoming and professional. my treatment there was good, and their staff was very nice but unfortunately, I went to them because they were an in-network provider for my insurance, and had agreed to contracted rates. When I had my first treatment they had agreed to be paid $350.00 by my insurance company, but my policy did not cover that treatment so they charged me $540.00, instead of the rate they agreed to when they accepted the contract with Delta Dental. My next treatment plan required a ct scan they agreed to accept $235.00 but since it is not covered by my insurance policy they are charging me $850.00. I feel that they are gouging me and can't trust them. read more

Beautiful fancy office with all the trimmings and most modern equipment - so that was refreshing. Very upscale place. Bring a sweater because this place is a freezer. VERY VERY COLD! OK if you are dressed for it, I was not warned before coming. I'm guessing likely around 68-69 degrees. Be prepared to be there for a LONG TIME as they toss you from person to person if this is your first visit. My first visit was almost three hours including x-rays, and talking to various professionals that work there. Very detailed as they will look to make as much possible money from you as they can. If you want to participate in making decisions on your own treatment, you will NOT find any flexibility here to work with you or your concerns. I wanted to get bonding on my front teeth because I do NOT want to GRIND DOWN my existing teeth into stumps in order to get porcelain caps. The dentist insisted that I get caps (much more expensive and more dangerous to my teeth) but ZERO MEDICAL REASON for same. They basically refused to give me bonding. ALSO: I heard online about very bad side effects from deep cleaning of teeth and wanted to only go with regular cleanings and I was told by their very aggressive office manager Leena that if I don't do it their way - take the HIGHWAY and get another dentist to do it. No time for me to do research on these horrible side effects that others report on line that they are experiencing from side effects like teeth becoming lose, and lots of pain... that goes on FOREVER... just "THEIR WAY OR FIND ANOTHER DENTIST." She wouldn't work with me at all! I was totally shocked at this, because at first glance, I thought this place was really nice. Don't be fooled by the fancy shmancy stuff! My family is full of people dying from medical procedures that were not needed so I am gun shy about a dental office manager telling me if I don't do what she is demanding, not to go there. Be prepared to get a treatment plan that will cost you thousands upon thousands upon thousands. Be prepared for HIGH PRESSURE TACTICS by LEENA, her screechy loud voice not unlike that of a HYEENA! My dental work there would have been upwards of $50k-$60k over the next few years... so, if you decide to go to this very demanding dental clinic, be sure to wear your winter gear and be prepared for your meeting with Leena. She is NOT a dentist, she will push you into as much expensive work as possible, scheduling you week after week after week without a break if you let her. She will tell you what you can and cannot do without even giving you an opportunity to discuss in more detail and more than once with the doctor, get a second opinion or do any research on the procedures. I mean, come - on! If I want bonding on my front teeth instead of porcelain caps, what does this need to be an argument with the office manager, pushing me to take the really expensive and NOT-NEEDED treatment over my choice of remedies saying that I have to obey the doctor when it comes to cosmetic choices because he likes the caps better? Really!? If I were the dentist, I would like them better too... much more money... and maybe they even look better. I am so upset, there are no words for this. PS please note that everyone I saw in this office looks like they are under 30years old, maybe even younger, which means - their experience maybe limited. The office manager, sure had no experience in dealing with someone like me (someone that wants to make their own medical choices based on research and a well thought out plan that works for me.) I think I'm going to look for a dentist that has been in business for a bit longer. These look like recent graduates - the dentist that sat with me looked like he was about 18 years old, of course, he is likely older... but that was frightening! I ran 4 businesses in NYC for more than half a century. If I had an office manager treated a customer like the way Leena treated me, she would have been fired immediately. This might be an interesting place to get experimented on from new graduates, but I would not recommend it for anyone wanting to be able to choose for themselves what they believe is right .. If you want to be a widget in their money-making factory, and get operated on by God-Docs, go for it! Just remember, the number 3 killer in our country is something called iatragenic medicine. How often does someone say, "I love my dentist"? I imagine many people at Palms Dental do say that. Every single person working there is friendly, caring and responsive. From routine appointments to the emergency that I had today, I am always satisfied. It's a full service practice, so besides general dentistry, there is a surgeon and periodontist. All of the care is well coordinated, avoiding excess photos and running around. Dr Kromrey is gentle, takes time to explain before and after and the office has great follow up. Dr Kromrey is young and seems to be savvy about current technology and treatments. I think they are priced very reasonably for the services and don't oversell. Best experience that I ever had at a dentist. Got a crown, felt no pain at all during procedure, watched tv as he drilled my tooth basically felt like a day off lol.
