Mediocre choice of products. Questionable hygiene. Avoid the place: there are better options nearby.

Even a great business occasionally might run into a customer problem…read more That matter the most is how that problem is handled. Is that business would be respectful of customers time and money? Would that business truly try to understand customers feelings and concerns? I am happy to report that Wegmans in Parsippany Troy Hill would be that business that would stand by their customers. Great customer care is what makes this store very special. I would like to say a special "thank you" to Jonathan Leslie, Front End Manager, who was helping me. Also, certainly they have a huge selection of fish, meat and pretty much anything else that you might need for your dinner table.

THE GOOD ----------------…read more+ Like many Wegmans locations, this store is like a giant cave!!!! + EVERYTHING and ANYTHING you want to buy at a grocery store is here - you really don't need to go anywhere. + Prices are very reasonable for just about everything. + Fruits and vegetables are as fresh as it gets and all of the foods are extremely neat and organized. + Made to order food sections include pizza, sub sandwiches and a burger bar. + Dining area is masssssive with plenty of tables and chairs. + Parking lot is hugeeeeee too as there isn't anything around, except an L.A. Fitness and Panera Bread. THE NOT SO GOOD ---------------------------- - Nada. MIXED THOUGHTS --------------------------- = Nada. RANDOM OBSERVATIONS -------------------------------------- = This Wegmans is situated in a very strange, secluded area, in what feels like the middle of the forest.

Balancing out the good and the bad…read more Good: A less expensive supermarket. In a town with Walmart (el cheapo) and Kings (el supremo), this falls in the middle and is the market of choice for most locals. Bad: Toward the lower end of the middle. A step below places like ShopRite in terms of produce quality. Others have talked about the quality of the vegetables and the meats. Check your produce carefully. Check your meat carefully and be prepared for the preparation date to be in the immediate future. Good: Then again, prices are toward the lower end of the middle. When I went today, while I didn't end up getting meat, I looked it over and everything I saw looked good. Bad: Still poorly organized aisles. Popcorn aisle is one before the chips aisle... which contains popcorn. There were multiple people working the floors. I didn't interact with them, but I did not see a pronounced lack. The place feels cleaner lately than it has in the past. Since much of my shopping is for fresh ingredients, I still don't see myself coming here much. But nothing screams "STAY AWAY". 3 stars, right down the middle.

Is this a NJ thing?! I was with my elderly parents who needed help. You had to buy a $4.99 bag. Didn't even have paper bags for .05 purchase. I've now learned it is a NJ thing. I was not impressed. The store did appear to be clean and orderly. Just very disappointed in the lack of training with appropriate customer service. Teach these young kids some manners, social skills and customer service. Obviously this is a poor reflection on the management.

The store is nice and has good stuff but...the deli staff is terrible. There were 4 people behind…read morethe deli and i stood there for 8 minutes without even being acknowledged. Then a young kid asked if i was being helped, even though he already knew I wasnt because he was just standing there off to the side. So i wanted an egg salad sandwich on a round roll and I asked for a soft roll because I just had dental work done. So it took 12 minutes to get a simple egg salad sandwich made and the roll was hard and old and tough to chew and there was literally only 2 small tablespoons of eggsalad on this sandwich i couldn't even bite into and I was charged 10.00 for it and there wasnt even lettuce and onion on it. The sandwich was terrible and they were acting like it was funny when he gave it to me. I will never go in this store again after this. The cashiers are nice in the front though. And another time i bought sushi and i went on self checkout and realized i forgot chopsticks and i told the lady that watches self checkout that i had to run back to sushi bar and get chopsticks and she had the audacity to say, "dont fill up your bag on the way over there." Are you kidding me??? They are lucky they have any customers with these poor attitudes. I was insulted. I don't look like a degenerate and I dont steal but i get treated poorly by the staff in here and i hear the staff making fun of other customers in the seafood dept. too. Terrible!!!

Feta is the secret , Not much variety of brands for basics as WF own line takes over and undercuts others . Sadly . I try not to buy WF brand, we know the story . Wish they would add more cashiers . WF lost its charm because of that . Also note both customers and workers should try to refrain the speaker phone during lunch in cafe but unfortunately no turning back on poor social skills . It ruined the vibe overall . There is an outdoor patio with great sun in warmer months. Kiddos are so cute in this store. Lost my spark for WF. Friendliness is limited both customers and staff. Sure it's not easy working here .
