We really enjoyed watching them work, and their creative solutions to things that came up during the build. Project manager Eva was onsite almost daily during busy times. She responded promptly to any questions, and is still doing so with questions that we have now. 5 stars for quality and staff. My 4 star is for timing. When we signed up with them the website said 6 months for a stick built. Ours went a year and a month beyond that. I believe they are telling folks a more realistic timeline now. We hadn't planned for it, so it left us in an apartment for far too long. Would we have gone with them knowing that? Probably, as quality is more important in the long run. Even the big name company that installed my roof 2 years ago wouldn't do the work. JKR was happy to get the business and was fairly priced.
