    Build Your Own Breakfast Sandwich

We had oat milk matcha teas; mine with strawberry syrup. They were yummy and the perfect temperature. We also had breakfast sandwiches which for an upcharge we had made vegan. English muffin with vegan sausage, vegan Gouda, and vegan egg. It was super hot in temperature; would definitely hold up for a ride. It was delicious. I will be back back for the sandwich for sure.

What a cute work from home spot! It's not huge upstairs, but there are extra tables and couches downstairs. The honey lavender latte was great! This place has free wifi. Paid street parking.

The coffee shop has the wonderful smell of fresh roasted beans which they should totally charge admission for, because that is a wonderful smell. The light roast has a clean roasted taste and fruity finish and the vanilla latte is beautifully foamy with a fresh vanilla bean flavor. I'll be thinking about both of those until I go back. They have a delightful option of bagels, scones and donuts. It was hard to decide. The everything bagel from Onion Roll had a nice crispy outside and chew to it and the Denver Scone is best heated but tasty.

Excellent small speciality coffee and pastry cafe just South of the main streets of Oak Park. I got the more exotic sounding blend of which I asked about the origins and they weren't quite clear, but that wasn't as important as to how it tasted. I took a sit for a few minutes in their nice sunny small storefront and enjoyed the local vibe, with street art panels outside, before heading out for my day. Lovely little place, if I lived nearly I would support it regularly.

Met the owner.....decided to take him up on the challenge....this has to be some of the smoothest coffee I've tasted in a while.....something abt the process and electricity and something else.....lolol First the shop is nice and quaint. Nice art and decor....friendly staff....ordered the bold latte....and got a bag of their dark roast....

Iced vanilla latte made with oat milk

I had heard of Kribi quite a few times but never got a chance to visit since I do not live nearby. My parents and I were in the area for a doctor's appointment and decided to stop by. My go to drink whenever I am checking out a coffee shop for the first time is an iced vanilla latte made with oat milk. The one at Kribi is solid - the vanilla flavor does not taste artificial and the espresso itself is strong and smooth. My dad ordered an iced hazelnut latte made with whole milk and said it was one of the best hazelnut lattes he'd ever tried. My mom ordered a regular hot coffee with cream. She said it was very good and not too strong. Kribi has a wide selection of baked goods and the bonjour bakery morning roll caught our attention. We ordered one to share and instantly regretted it. My mom went back to the counter and ordered three more to take home! The bonjour morning roll is layers of laminated dough filled with sugar. The pastry is flaky and pillowy at the same time. Definitely order one with your coffee! The people at the counter were so welcoming and friendly. The space itself is quite nice with ample seating and colorful decor. Kribi is a coffee gem in downtown Forest Park!

I stopped to treat myself while I had a few hours without kids and it was great! The coffee is smooth and flavorful (not watery!) and the gluten free muffin was separately wrapped. The muffin tasted almost like cake but still had a good crumb.

I was admonished for using the restroom - a dealbreaker for healthcare practitioners like me who spend all day driving around delivering in-home care with limited access to facilities. If not for that, I'd go back for good coffee and baked goods from West Town.

Cute little coffee shop neighborhood in downtown Forest Park. The nice and colorful outside art work will entice you to come inside. Little outside patio where you can sit out and enjoy some fresh air. There is also seating areas inside. Comfy couch. I received a 20% coupon in the mail a few weeks. The first visit coming here was very pleasant. I was greeted with bright smiles at 7:00AM that's a plus these days. I ordered a small hot lavender latte and a plain bagel with cream cheese. The prices are kind of on the high side. A plain bagel (the only bagel they sale) was $3.50. My lavender latte was so good. Good Service and Delicious lavender latte made my morning even better. FYI Happy Hours on Monday's (half price on drinks from 2pm-4pm. Also, you get a double punch on your drink loyalty card all day on Thursday.

We started the process by going to their local headquarters and sampling the different styles. Sam and Kelly were very knowledgeable about all the products and made great recommendations. They provided us with a deluxe coffee bean grinder, a two-station coffee maker, and a two-station espresso machine. We have been open for almost a year now and we have never had any problems with their equipment or coffee products. They do have an emergency technician on call to stop by immediately if we ever have any issues. Lastly and most importantly, our customers absolutely love their coffee and it's one of the reasons why we've been able to be so successful in such a competitive market. Coffee is everything in our business and we made sure we picked the best around. It's always a pleasure dealing with Sam and Kelly from Philosophy Coffee. They often stop by our restaurant just to say hello and check on things. They don't just sell you a product and disappear, they are always proactive and really do things right away.

This is a very tiny coffee shop and for those of you not terribly familiar with Hinsdale (myself amongst them) the place looks like it's in an alley but it's not; you're turning down the right street. There are a few parking spots down here so that makes it convenient. The shop has a good drink menu and also has donuts/muffins/sandwiches. I had a breakfast panini and I liked it. I wasn't sure what I'd think since I am always a bit on the fence about avocado, but wanted to try it without modifications. I liked the black beans on it more than I expected to. Overall it's an ok spot but the drinks are better than the food options. The owner has a great handle on her regulars; she was greeting folks as they came in and remembered the coffee order of a woman who hasn't been in for a while because she remarked on how surprised she was that she remembered her usual. There's no seating in the cafe, it's strictly a grab-and-go place. But they have an app of their own that you can use to order, and based upon what the owner was telling a customer, it generally works better than using the Toast app.
