If I could give zero stars, I would. This doctor's office is the definition of unprofessionalism, starting from the top. The owner, who is also the doctor, had the audacity to call my husband and I liars simply because we pointed out their lack of proper patient care. Instead of addressing concerns like a professional, DR. KREIG chose to be defensive and dismissive--an interesting approach for someone in the business of care. I will be writing a formal complaint to every platform possible to ensure this doesn't happen to someone else! Every single visit, without fail, there was some mysterious balance due--not just a standard co-pay, but an additional charge that always seemed to appear out of thin air. Transparency clearly isn't a priority here. On top of that, this office doesn't believe in appointment reminders. No calls, no texts, no emails. If you want to make sure your appointment is still on, that's on you to remember and confirm. Because, apparently, basic patient communication is optional here. The moment she walked into the room, her attitude was palpable -- cold, dismissive, and completely lacking any sense of courtesy or care. She didn't smile, didn't greet us, and acted like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. My entire family has been coming here for the past three years, and we've never had an experience this bad. Debra made zero effort to listen to anything we said, cut us off repeatedly, and carried herself with a smugness that was completely inappropriate. Her tone, body language, and complete disregard for basic respect were unacceptable. It honestly felt like she went out of her way to be condescending. If this is the kind of service this place is now allowing, we will absolutely be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I have been with Dr. Krieg's office for a couple of years (fall 2020) I feel like things have drastically changed for the worst... After being insulted and accused of something absolutely atrocious and untrue via a phone call with Kathy, (in which my mother, a nurse, was witnessed to and was equally offended!) I decided that was it and I can't put up with this portal to hell any longer! And other potential patients must know about her practice. Their office doesn't have an e-mail or a portal in which you can contact them. Which would put things in writing and make frustrating situations (such as mine) something you can refer back to and hold the providers accountable for. So no online appointments, requests, messages or the ability to view your labs (especially in house ones). They don't even have a website. It's 2023, Krieg. You may be ancient but almost all other offices do this now because they want ease for their patients and better record keeping. I'm not sure how they even get new patients without a website. Krieg must have signed over her profit sharing to the local ERs for their referrals to her. Dr. Krieg (via "the bringer of doom" named Kathy) pushed off practically all my medications on specialists. I got the impression she doesn't want any medication prescribed under her name/office as that would give her staff just too much to do. In the past 2 years I've been there she has slowly started saying "we're not filling that here, check with XYZ specialist". I once asked for a referral/recommendation for a new endocrinologist and was told that they can't and will not do that as they didn't initially diagnose me with diabetes! What the heck? I've been seeing you for years and you all know I have this medical condition. I mean, a major job as a primary care doctor is referrals or at least a recommendation. It sounds a bit hypocritical if you add in the info from what was mentioned above. During your appointment you get about 3-4 minutes of Krieg's time. In which you are not allowed to discuss multiple things, just like another reviewer said. She's 100% right. One appointment for one concern. And I saw a PA once too, same philosophy. Honestly I think it's because they treat their patients like a cattle call, trying to get as many in and out as they can and make that cash. There's a phrase for this in the medical community: "Treat em' and street em'!" I can no longer recommend her office to my family/friends and honestly I wouldn't even recommend them to my worst enemy. Don't walk away from this office, Run!! My new PCP, Rebecca Hawthorne over at Texas Health Family Care is UHmazing! She sat down and patiently listened to me, explained things thoroughly and showed TRUE compassion for the things we discussed. I never once feel rushed or brushed off. Her staff even made the connections for me for the referral I needed! The portal for making appointments and being able to message them is amazing. My diagnostics tests are also uploaded through their system so I can share and upload them to my other specialists! Wow, technology! My experience there was a breath of fresh air compared to the extreme toxicity that permeates the halls at Krieg's office. And, especially, Kathy's compassion-fatigued attitude. It should be noted that apparently Kathy is Dr. Krieg's sister. No wonder an intolerable human such as herself continues to be allowed to speak to patients on behalf of Dr. Krieg. I honestly fear for downtown Fort Worth should she make a trip over there, romping through buildings and breathing fire. My interactions with this place (especially the virulent Kathy--honestly how does this woman sleep at night?) and the horrible, traumatizing things I endured will be a permanent mark on my soul. read more

Kathy is an extremely rude and unpleasant person to have to deal with each month when I call for refills. It is very difficult to speak with the staff without a significant amount of phone tag. Additionally, my work schedule doesn't allow for phone calls midday, which amplifies the difficulty of speaking with the office. Knowing that when I do finally receive a call back, it will be from Kathy quite literally raises my blood pressure. Dr. Kreig and Julia are great, but I am considering a switch because I have no desire to deal with that woman ever again. The extent of her rudeness and lack of professionalism is unbelievable. They truly should record and listen to the condescending way that she speaks to their patients. Absurd. read more

Since turning 18, I have been searching for a female general doctor to replace my pediatrician that i had been seeing since infancy. We decided to try Dr. Kreig and did not have a pleasant experience. I expressed concerns about possible anemia or thyroid issues, as I felt faint often, and she offered to have blood work done in her office. We did so, and the nurse asked me which arm she preferred, so I chose my non-dominant left. Unfortunately, the nurse could NOT find the vein, despite me being pale and fairly skinny. Instead of taking out the needle, she DUG IT AROUND IN MY ARM, causing me to get dizzy and pass out. Needless to say my mother was not happy, and we got the bloodwork from Quest instead--much more reliable and a 10x better experience, even though I am queezy with needles. They called back to tell me my results were normal and nothing more. On the recommendation of my former-nurse grandma, I recently went to request a paper copy with the exact numbers. Not only was I given the information without me providing any ID or proof of who I was, but upon looking at it, my grandma declared that Dr. Krieg had not even checked things we had requested, like my thyroid. I also had expressed a desire to start seeing a counselor for my anxiety during my first visit, to little avail from Dr. Krieg. She kind of brushed it off and did not even provide me a list of recommendations, and basically just told me I needed to exercise more. Needless to say our search continues. read more

WOW!! Went in for my yearly well check last year after another appointment 2 days before, I was warned by staff, multiple times not to talk about ANYTHING other than the well visit or they would double charge for the visit. The PA brought something up to me that I thought must be included in the visit as it pertained to blood work I had for the well visit. I was surprised to then receive a bill, when I looked at my insurance, I was billed for two visits on the well check. I called and the Office manager Paul, tells me that they have to bill me because it was a new diagnosis. My insurance says this is fraudulent and I tend to agree. If I can't bring up anything to the doctor outside of preventative care why can she bill me for her bringing it up. What exactly do they do for preventative care? What does it entail? Taking your blood is all they have ever done, but going over your blood results is not included in the preventative care. Today Paul called me to let me know that he would dismiss the copay for the extra appointment they charged for, but I should find a new doctor. I have never had a doctor like this, that charges extra appointments for blood results. The manager Paul is so rude that I am still in shock. I suggest going somewhere else if your looking for a Doctor that cares about your health and not just their pocketbook! read more

I would avoid Dr. Krieg as she was unethical and provided substandard treatment in my last appointment. My previous visits at the clinic were without issue. I am a healthcare provider myself and I find it appalling the way I was treated in mid-September 2019 while I have been struggling with some severe chronic medical issues. Here is the (long) list of unethical behaviors she displayed: * Told me to see a psychiatrist for severe fatigue and itching resulting in a rash--leading me to believe she didn't believe my symptoms were real or medical * Did not listen to me that I've had no medication or medication manufacturer changes in past year and needlessly spent the majority of the appointment on every single possible side effect of all of my medications--a huge waste of time * Became irritated when I tried to share labs from several months ago in addition to a written list of symptoms * Refused to order any lab tests that I requested (I understand not ordering them all, but she refused all of them), including a simple thyroid panel even though I was having severe fatigue--she made me to go a private lab that didn't take insurance and order the tests myself, costing me hundreds of dollars. The next week my OB/GYN said she should have ordered a CBC and Vitamin D test in addition to the measly 4 tests she did run. * Was condescending and rude when I expressed anxiety about a previously prescribed medication side effect--she actually mocked me *** Did not examine my skin despite allergic reaction *** Refused to refer me to an allergist/immunologist despite allergic reaction and to rule out mast cell disease, with no explanation. Only referred to rheumatologist. My OB/GYN said I should also have been referred to an internist, not a rheumatologist. *** Did not prescribe me any medication to help with my presenting problems, specifically the allergic reaction. I had to see another doctor to be prescribed an antihistamine. *** Did not give me any medical advice to help me cope with my medical issues * I contacted the office to ask about reason for referral refusal, and never received a call back Due to my HMO insurance, I have to change primary care doctors to get the allergist referral, which is causing me to go for several weeks without treatment of my conditions. This caused me to miss work due to my symptom severity--I've lost quite a bit of money as I am self-employed. This also took time away from my own patients in my private practice. There are many other better reviewed physicians in the area, I recommend that potential patients look elsewhere for a PCP. My OB/GYN recommended Dr. Sarah Gardner (internist) in NRH. I have also heard good things about Dr. Tommy Duncan's family practice near Alliance. Both have stellar reviews online. read more

The receptionist was so condescending and rude that I did not even bother to make my first appointment to see Dr. Krieg. I can see why this practice gets such bad reviews. Dr. Krieg might be a great doctor for all I know, but the people in the front are the people that I would deal with most often and they need at the very least to be professional. The person I spoke to (I think she said her name is Dawn) was rude, unprofessional, and thoroughly unpleasant. I will keep looking for a family doctor. read more

I was looking for a doctor as we had recently move to Fort Worth from Madison Wisconsin. I had an incredibly good experience from the ladies at reception, to the assistant. Dr Krieg was friendly, professional and gave me a thorough wellness check. I felt comfortable with her and felt that she listened to me and addressed all my concerns. She is an amazing doctor and I am so glad I found her. read more

My son, mom, and I all use Dr. Krieg. She and her PAs have always been very attentive. Appointments are always quick and efficient.

I've only had contact with Dr. Krieg a couple of times, but she seems okay for a GP. Nothing special, nothing bad - just okay. I guess she provides and spot for a repository for my records, except that her front desk workers won't let me even see them. Kathy, is the receptionist I have issue with. She wouldn't let me see my records and proceeded to try and read them to me. I needed to see if I had had a CT scan because of an issue I was currently having. Anyway, she obviously has no medical training, because she couldn't even read to see if I'd had the scan. I called a different time to check on a referral I was given and apparently Kathy doesn't know the process her office uses for referrals, because she asaroundthek office while I waited online. I could hear her asking questions to the staff that I didn't ask and relaying information I never said. She kept harping on the fact that the referral was given back in March, like I was some bad person for not booking my mammogram sooner. I can't help but think that maybe Kathy is the doctor's mother, because of her lack of professional behavior and I can't seem to get past her. Even when the nurse referred me to Gloria to answer a question, Kathy jumped in uninvited. Doctors, please know that your front office help does affect the experience patients do have going to the doctor. Please hire professionals! I will be looking for a new doctor. read more
