I usually go to a high end salon that charges more than twice what I paid at Best Cuts, but I was looking for a place that charged by the service and not by gender. I was tired of being told that my hair was 200% more complicated and time consuming because I'm female. I would have been happy to pay more, as long as I wasn't paying a premium on my gender! I agreed to the highlight, thinking it could still look cool, and I could always just make an appointment to get the rest of it done another day. But the color I wanted did not turn out the same as the reference picture I used. When the dye was first applied, it looked right, but once it was washed and dried, it looked completely different. It was much darker than I intended it to be and it really only shows up in certain lighting, barely even being noticeable when I tried to take selfies with it. I completely understand that there wasn't much the stylist could do as they were preparing to close, but I had been wanting to get my hair dyed again for ages and I can't help but be a little disappointed that it didn't turn out how I envisioned

He's an affable personable guy - always ready with a joke but also able to discuss Sports, news of the day, etc. Now all my sons also go to Don.
