I said something numerous times and every time she tried to rectify it, it got worse. We left extremely upset and had to desperately find someone to help repair the damage that was done. 4 separate salons were shocked at what was done and saddened to see that an additional 4 inches needed to be cut to try and salvage her hair. It was supposed to be cut just below her bust and is now between her shoulders and chest area. Her hair was to her belly initially. The other stylist working wasn't even paying attention to the rather heated argument that transpired and could not have cared less. I'm furious.

Rita really took the time to understand me and how I handle my hair (or don't!) and how my hair likes to behave. She took her time and the result was that my hair is behaving really well! She was very thorough in how she cut it and was careful not to go too short. She cut it dry (but straightened), which was different for me, but I think it worked out well. I didn't get it washed and styled, but did use a round brush on the ends when I got home. It looks even better than this pic when it is freshly styled. I did NOT get my color done that day. I will go back next time I'm ready.

Well, I think I finally might have! I initially was booked with a different stylist but received a text from Carrie the day before mentioning that unfortunately my original stylist had to take the day off to take care of her son and if I was ok with it, they'd move me to Keeley's books instead. Since I didn't have any sort of commitment to a stylist I said sure. Keeley was fantastic! She greeted me the moment I walked in, offering me coffee/tea/water. When I sat in her chair, she was super receptive to the concerns I had. I mentioned wanting layers but being a low maintenance girl and feeling worried it may look choppy. She gave advice but also didn't push, as she recognized my hesitance. She told me to think over the layers she suggested and did an initial trim and asked how I was feeling. She checked in every step of the way to make sure I was comfortable, even when it came to curling my hair. I've gone to so many stylists that merely asked for my reference pics and started chopping, but Keeley was thorough, patient and attentive. It was the first time maybe ever that I truly felt listened to by a stylist. This place is a little on the pricey side but based on my first experience, I think it's well worth the price!
