Denied service. Zero Stars. I went on a Sunday at about 5:10 pm. They closed at 6pm. As I entered, there were two stylists sitting around the register chatting. They asked how they could help me. I replied that I wanted my daughter's hair trimmed. (She 7 y/o. We arrived with her hair clean and already blow dried. I wanted a dry cut.) It seemed as if one of the stylists was about to get up to help us. However, the other stylist then rudely said they were booked for the day and couldn't help me. As I mentioned, they were the only two people in the salon. They could've easily and quickly trimmed my daughter's hair. Instead they lied and turned us away. I went to next door to Target and when I came out the salon was still empty. It was clear that they had no other clients coming in for the day and that she just lied. I always make appointments here Tori is the best. I made the mistake of making an appointment when she was not working. I was ten mintues late and the woman at the counter told me it was fine and to sit and someone would be out she came out 10 mintues later and said you were 20 mintues late Mattie does not have time sorry. I was so embarrassed I walked to the back to get my coat. Things happen and to be so cold. I really got upset when I walked back to get my coat and the girl who had told me no one could take me was on her cell phone eating. I will be sadly taking my buisness else where. read more

I tried their website to make an appointment and it never let me get to the confirmation page. I tried again on my computer instead of my phone and it wouldn't let me confirm the appointment either, instead trying to force me to register an account. I didn't want an account, I wanted an appointment. When I tried to make an appointment over the phone they told me they didn't have the time I was trying to book, despite what the website said. The woman on the phone made it sound like it was my fault for reading the site wrong instead of their fault for having the wrong information on the site. read more

This place is the absolute worst. I asked for what I was told would be a simple balayage job I even showed a picture and ELISE said she could do it. She said it was more highlights then ombré or balayage. LET ME JUST TELL YOU. I'm not sure where she went to school but y'all need to revoke her cosmetology license. A new born baby has more skills then she does. She was extremely rude to me and my friend as well as her own co workers. She was more worried about her 24oz wawa coffee then my hair. I look insane with the hair she did. I asked for my money back because there was no way in hell I would ever let them touch my head again. They told me it's a happiness guarantee and not a satisfaction guarantee. All they were willing to do was try to fix it. I have been going to Hair Cuttery Delran for many years, Ragan is amazing. I can always tell her or show her what I want and she will meet it beyond my expectations. She always gives me great advice on how to maintain my hair color and health. I have even asked her on how to get a look i.e beach wave and she has taken the time to show me how and the tools and products I need. Ragan is also wonderful children she now cuts my 2 year old's hair and she is so great with him. The staff there are always so helpful and friendly. We couldn't sign into the site to check in early so we did a walk in. Stylist said my husband was next when we walked in. We sat for 30mins while they continued to take others who walked in because they signed in and asked for a certain stylist. Now we are waiting for 6 ladies getting their hair dyed, cut and styled. Don't tell someone they are next if it's not true. I believe once you sign in then you are on a list and shouldn't get bumped because someone logged in online. After waiting 20 mins we asked where he was on the list and kept getting 'there are two ahead of you' yet when we walked in there was no one waiting. This system needs to be fixed or only take appointments. read more

I told her I wanted my hair layered. I told her I put it up at work. i told her I would have a problem if she cut two inches off my hair like the person next to me said was OK. I told her to take off as little as possible. I have never been able to have very long hair, as it is fine. She said, has your hair always been this thin. Thin, even if it is, it is poor taste to say so. I had been growing it out for six years. Trying to be very careful to say only trim it. She cut off three inches - I can't put it up, anymore. I started crying in the chair and she couldn't have cared the least. All she could obsess about was my gray roots. I didn't even say anything about the color of my hair. Very sad. read more

I wish I could give zero stars. Staff is extremely rude with poor skills to match. I went in for ombré with highlights and I got chunky bleach color highlights an inch off my scalp. All the hairdressers stood around doing absolutely nothing with customers sitting waiting in the time they walked around doing nothing they could've gotten 1 - 2 haircuts done. We get it you make appointments but doesn't mean you should stand around for 45 minutes doing NOTHING and HIDING IN THE BACK with men waiting for haircuts (that take 10 min max).... never coming here again. read more

I will start by saying this experience is partially my fault. I normally go to a different salon, but they were booked and I was looking to have my hair fresh for a holiday party I'm going to today. I also didn't have a picture of what I wanted (which would've helped), but I know what I explained to the hairdresser is not what I got. I went in for partial highlights and a cut. I told her I wanted a lob, explaining that my previous cut was a subtle lob. This time I wanted it to be a little more dramatic with the angle from front to back, with the front being longer. I told her I had a piece in the very front that was shorter and I was trying to grow out, but the rest in the front could stay the same length. She asked if I wanted the front angled to blend into the shorter piece and I said no. The front of my hair is shorter now than when I got it cut 4 months ago! This is the most disappointed I've been with a haircut in my life. I wanted a lob, but the whole thing looks the same length - in fact the front looks a little shorter than the back instead of the other way around. She made it seem that the front was short because I'm growing it out, but it was only the very front piece that was shorter from when I had long bangs - the rest of it wasn't that short. Then she said she could take more off the back, but the back is the length I wanted - I don't need it any shorter! The good news is it's just hair, so it will grow back. I will end on a positive note - I do love the color, and the hairdresser was nice and made sure I was comfortable the entire time - I just wish the cut was better. read more

Went in for shampoo and cut. Very polite. Asked for shampoo and cut couple inches off, all one length. Nothing fancy. Left there with the hair around my face at least an inch shorter than the rest of my hair. Definitely not all one length like I asked for. It will grow again but disappointed I didn't get what i asked and payed for. read more

I'm very disappointed in the services that I recently received here. I have been here before a couple of times and was actually impressed so I decided to come back. First of all, they were super busy on a Saturday when I went, which is fine. I put my name down and my friend's name down and they told me it would be about a 45 minute wait. Well, they call me back within 20 minutes. I had asked for a blowout and this stylist had no idea what she was doing. It took her 1 hour to do a simple blowout, and the end result wasn't even impressive. It looked like something I could have done. So 1 hour later....my friend still isn't called back for her appointment. They just say "we have other people ahead of you". WELL THEN WHY DID YOU GIVE US A 45 MINUTE WAIT??! The stylists here are hit or miss. LIke I said, I received a good stylist before so my hair was nice but this time it was terrible. She charged me $27 for a blowout that I could have easily done myself. Will not be back here again. read more
