I am not one who fears my trips to the dentist at all, but this practice could cure anyone who is. No lie, I look forward to going each time and it's not just for the free toothbrush/floss/travel size Colgate at the end of the visit. But, I do like that, too. Who doesn't love a tiny pack of floss for their purse? I digress... The entire staff makes you comfortable as soon as you walk in the door. My trips should be awful because I have had gum issues for years. But, Ashley and I worked on a plan to get my oral health back on track. Dr. Orman helped, too, of course. I mean, the whole office rocks, but Ashley? She was incredibly helpful by recommending products that I could use outside of my office visits to help improve my "you got some bad gums/build-up and bone loss" situation. That means I could be losing teeth and getting partials or (gasp!) dentures if I don't get my act together. Dentures? Ewwww, no. I am far too vain for that. So, today? Ashley's investment in me as a patient and my dedication (floss, people, for the love of all things holy, FLOSS!) has me back on track. It's been a journey, but I will still be eating corn on the cob in the future with my own choppers and not worrying about where "I put my teeth," when company comes over. How embarrassing, right? And, FYI, if you have gum issues and don't take care of them? Just go ahead and prepare for dentures. Or, better idea: Go see the folks at this practice; do not wait any longer. They aren't super fancy, but they are super fantastic.

Yelisetty examined my teeth and noticed I had a chipped tooth. Instead of recommending a filling or a root canal, he suggested extracting the tooth, claiming it couldn't be saved and that I would save $3,000 by avoiding a root canal. I expressed my preference to save the tooth, but he dismissed my concerns with technical jargon. Unconvinced, I immediately sought a second opinion from another dentist, who was able to fill the tooth without any issues. Now, three days later, my tooth feels perfectly fine. Based on this experience, I would never recommend this dental office. If you choose to go, proceed at your own risk.

The absolute WORST!! Went in for a very painful toothache. They took x-rays and determined that I…read morehad some bone loss around the tooth. They proceeded to let me know that they needed to do a cleaning around that one particular tooth, OK cost me $600 to have that one tooth cleaned. The pain continued on and got worse after the cleaning and was told to take ibuprofen and Tylenol together to help ease the pain. The pain got worse and two months later I went to a periodontist. They too took x-rays and discovered I had significant bone loss And an infection around that tooth. This tooth now needs to be pulled because it's beyond repair and replaced with an implant. The periodontist told me that the infection looked like it had been there a lot longer than two months and has now moved up into my sinus cavity. Save yourself a lot of pain and money and definitely DO NOT use The Art of Dentistry for any of your dental needs.

I thought things were cooking in a good way. I met with the doctor, and we went over the plans of what cavities I needed to have fixed and the cleaning as well. She seemed nice, but rushed and quick. The chairs also are not in their own private space its all together, so that is not my favorite either. The front desk people have a hard job. I get it, customers and clients are just trying to make sure that they are getting the right insurance billed and collecting the right money. Anyway, I had to change something last minute, and let me say, normally I think that sometimes that is asking a lot, but other times I think that it's doable and not with a certain attitude about it. I did share that I have a disability that is not always seen from an outisder nebver the less I help brige that with my letter from my doctor and me. I had one hygienist who was really good with me. She helps make the experiences so good that I share them with them, and that if I could have her again, that would be great. Well, they never had me with her; instead, I was with others who probably never read my letter. The times that I had to get cavities filled, it was really scary and hard; there were lots of butterflies and tears. I have always had tears, and in my last office, my dentist and the hygienist were amazing; they would go above and beyond to help me. Here, nothing, just kept going and then sat in the chair, and then moved on. I was just a patient here, and one that most likely was labeled a challenge. I finally was done walking out of the office with tears each time. I have found a new office that welcomes disabilities and does a great job of comforting and caring for each person's life. They are family and not just a patient. This might be a great option for someone, but not for me. I want a place where you are welcomed for you diffenreces or not, and where being scared or nervous is not a bother, but instead they take the extra time to help make it a better experience.

We've moved *a lot* in the last 3 years and every time I'd make an appointment, it would be 6+ months out, and we'd move again before the appointment took place. I was nervous they were going to shame me, but quite the opposite! They said not to worry and put my mind at ease. Morgan and Christina were our hygienists and they were SO sweet. They talked so well with my kids, educating them, letting them touch the instruments so they wouldn't be afraid. The dentist was just as kind. My kids left with a bag of goodies each (a cartoon toothbrush, floss, toothpaste, stickers, a ball, jingle bells, etc). My kids have been carrying around their treasures all day.
