I always wanted to have perm because my hair has always been straight. I thought of getting perm for a change and to try having curly hair. It's my dream actually. Rom made that dream came true! She was very efficient, and her attention to details was just amazing. My curls look great! She gave me tricks and tips on how to take care of my new do and how to keep the curls in shape. On the other hand, the staff at Beauty and the Balayage were super friendly. Annie as very accommodating and knowledgeable too on hair grooming and hair care! I'm also a customer, so that was frustrating. She then said I now have to add a rinse ahead of time, even though that was never required before. When I mentioned that a rinse was done during my last visit, she denied it--even though my clothes were literally stained from it. Also, during one of my previous visits, a live tutorial was done on my hair without my permission, which made me very uncomfortable and should have been discussed beforehand. What made everything worse was the lack of professionalism--no apology, no attempt to fix the issue, and I wasn't given my deposit back despite not receiving the service. The last rinse was only "included" because I had to wait 2 hours for her to show up, which is unacceptable. Overall, poor customer service and very unaccommodating. On the bright side, I found a much better experience at Holy Touch Salon in Pine Hills--very professional, accommodating, and my hair came out beautiful..

I've had all types of extensions - tape-ins, k-tips, and wefts. I can speak from my own 10 year extension journey when I say it is very important to do your research before getting extensions. When I started seeing Megan, she spent an immense amount of time showing me where my where my previous hair dresser had damaged my hair and showed me how I can take better care of my hair. I had literal bald spots. She focused on getting my REAL hair healthy before we even entered into extension territory. Im happy to report that after a year of extensions with Megan, my hair is actually HEALTHIER and (shockingly) LONGER!!!!! than it was before getting extensions. Megan is the only stylist I've seen that has been able to keep my hair as healthy as it was pre-extensions. She truly cares about your hair health at the end of the day.
