Pic is me after I learned that Kristy Kream was closed
    Zane G Segal Z.

One time I was real drunk as someone's house and somebody brought it a 12 pack of some classic 'nuts. So me and my homeboy went to pick up our free vaccine donuts today and we were entirely disappointed by the fact that the lobby is closed, and only the drive through is open. Kristi Kream is classist. But glazes are pretty good. 2/5 big ones.

    They're getting smaller.

Stopped by this morning to pick up a dozen donuts, opened the box and something seemed different. Is is it just me or are we paying the same and getting less. I'll post a picture of what I received this morning, you be the judge. I called customer service, she was zero help and not very friendly. How things are today you would expect at least a little gratitude for stopping by. This will be my last visit for a while. It's really too bad, I still have my paper hat from my 1st visit 18 years ago. Times change sometimes not for the better.

    Packed on opening day!

What can I say? Krisky Kreme has arrived in Missoula. It might as well be a holiday. You'd think it was with all the people here on opening day! If you've never had a Krispy Kreme donut, you're in for a treat. Designate today a cheat day and dig in!

    Welcome (back) to Missoula.
    David D.

Nice place, friendly people, good donuts. If they can figure out how to make a healthy donut, they will have complete success.

Crazy expensive for fried air and sugar. No substance and gagingly sweet. Coffee is ok but very expensive.

This is the worst place we have gone to, we went for a dozen and they didn't have any flavors and they were so rude.

Dirty. Tasteless, chunky frozen coffee. Chunky hot chocolate. No microwave on premises to warm up a donut???????? Very disappointing.

Every portion is a perfect amount and every meal and dessert is gourmet. The quality of their creations are truly works of art and the staff is always courteous, helpful and friendly. The ambiance is relaxed , yet classy and warm and welcoming. If you are gluten- free or vegan or even if you aren't, you couldn't ask for a more perfect dining experience in Missoula. Their pies and cakes are unbelievable, as well. Highly recommended!!

What luck that the next day we were going through Missoula! We had a late breakfast which included the most excellent biscuits and gravy. Really not sure what is in it, but I was in heaven! Gluten Free and Vegan Heaven. I haven't had biscuits like that for 40 years. We also purchased a half dozen assorted donuts, two loaves of bread (GF Molasses Oat Bread and GF Rye Bread), two of the plumpest and best poptarts in the world, and two cabbage turnovers. We have made several sandwiches with the bread including Ruebens. Can you believe it a GF Rueben sandwich! The donuts are spectacular, all of them; my son believes they were made using magic. There is nothing on earth like the tarts, this is not like any GF product ever and not something you put in the toaster, this cubby pastry is simply amazing. We warmed up the cabbage turnovers for lunch and WOW! The staff and owner are outstanding with their friendliness and understanding of the GF diet. No worries about eating anything there. They have a sign on the door that says the cafe is Vegan and Gluten Free. Just an overall fantastic experience and I wish I lived nearby. The building is walking distance from the college and in a residential area. Very quiet and cozy atmosphere where I could imagine going in for a treat and reading a book. Wish I lived nearby!

READ ALL THE WAY THROUGH…read more The experience here was highly disappointing. It is not my first time at Liquid Planet but it was new coming to this location. The customer service was less than stellar. My family and I was taking our time deciding on what we wanted and in the process of choosing we asked Chaslyn if the whip cream was made in house (btw the Liquid Planet in The Book Exchange does make the whip cream in house and it is delicious) once she was able to grasp the question we moved on to asking if the whip cream they use have carregan it was in that moment she grabbed the can and shoved it in my face and told me to look for myself (which it did have not wanted ingredient). Obviously, that is a BIG no! With that said there was regrouping involved due to what was desired was not available on the menu. In the meantime a family member went to take care of themself so we let her know that we would wait to order altogether since it was a shared purchase and moved away from the checkout area. It wasn't long after that she began to impatiently and rudely try to demand to take our order as if she had the right to dictate when, what and how we placed an order. It was incredibly low vibrational. We ended up getting a hot 12 ounce lavender latte with two extra pumps of lavender and three honey this turned out to be a tasty treat for our little one. I regretfully got a 24 ounce Italian soda (no cream) with dragonfruit and prickly pear syrup. Great flavors, awful choice! The soda was stale there was zero carbonated freshness, it tasted watery and there was no flavor to be found. I'm not going to lie I definitely felt robbed for a underwhelming and overpriced drink. My family member at that rate was to nervous to get anything from them between the already less than superior service and fifty/fifty chance that quality and the actual drink would be made right. During our visit my nephew wanted to check out the downstairs area. He check to see if there was a sign that stated if he couldn't explore that area and at the time there was none. Chaslyn verbally disciplined my kid nephew. Naturally, my mom kindly and firmly corrected her and let her know to notify his adult family members (as she was aware who he belonged to and that we were in plain sight of keeping track of him) if there were any off limit spaces that she would not like for customers to go into. She was respectful in her response and apologetic and in that regard I appreciate her being mindful after she was communicated with. For future reference it would be wise to put a sign there letting customers know that it's an off limits area as we to as adults we're headed in that direction to check it out because it is apart of the store and not clarified as not being an available space to view for customers. Okay, now as for the store itself this place is PERFECT! Honestly, there is so much space. A great deal of seating areas with a plethora of plugs. Not to mention a book nook for families and friends alike. There is a ton of fabulous art to review and even look into making a purchase! Ultimately, although the initial quality of this visit was below subpar I do believe that the staff whom we met and this space can truly thrive if Chaslyn focuses on finding new techniques on how to interact with customers without projecting her personal frustrations so that she does not come across passive aggressive. I am taking into consideration that perhaps she really is a nice kid and was just having a bad day. So I'll say this... I would give this place another go and would recommend it but bring your patience and willingness to communicate with employees if your drink turns out to be unpleasant due to lack of quality.

AMBIANCE // the Ambiance here is quaint, romantic and noisy. There are two seating sections one is elevated, no matter where you sit it can tend to get a little bit noisy but nothing outrageous. FOOD // I've been here numerous times over the years. The food was always consistently good. However this last time the food arrived at our table barely warm. I believe I know what happened. My one colleague ordered pasta with shrimp and a white wine sauce. That came out scalding hot. My manicotti and my other colleagues ravioli came out barely warm. They weren't staged properly. They were waiting to bring them out with the pasta, and they didn't set them under the heat lamp therefore they got cold. The complimentary bread has always been outstanding and still continues to be. The drinks are average, not strong but not weak. SERVICE // this is where this experience becomes interesting and unique. From the beginning the service was subpar at best. It was almost as if we were being ignored or overlooked intentionally. There were no refills on drinks. There was no inquiry how the entrees were. There was little to no follow-up. Very unique dining experience in and of itself. I have never experienced this and I have lived in major cities throughout the world. When it came time to conclude the experience. Ariana did ask if we wanted dessert. Myself and my colleague ordered a tiramisu. My colleague ordered one to go for her husband. She was charged for it, but it didn't come out until she inquired about it and then a young man, the same one who refilled my drink upon my asking is the same one who delivered her to go item. I requested a manager. I was told very directly that there was not any manager on that night that I would have to speak with her. I inquired who the proprietor or the owner was and she told me the name "Matt" stating that, "You will never hear from him and he won't call you back" she asked what the problem was and upon my explaining to her she became very argumentative cutting me off and interrupting me and speaking over me. She became extremely argumentative and unprofessional. She called me a liar. Telling me and my friends that we came in in a bad mood. Astoundingly we all looked at each other, as this was not possible. We were there for a celebration. Ariana continued to argue with us that she did come to the table and ask how things were, none of us recollect that whatsoever. At the conclusion of the evening, her unprofessionalism, unattentiveness and overall poor decorum has resulted in this review, a letter to someone named "Gabby" and a very unpleasant taste in our mouth for this small business. Which is extremely unfortunate because I really did love this place and I really did want to continue to frequent it.
