    Vegan Avocado BLT

Food was supposed to be ready by 12:50pm. I arrived at 12:46pm only to be told that both items of my order are unable to be made due to missing a key ingredient. I received no prior call notifying me of this even though I put my order in at 12:05pm. I see no reason why I was not called and notified of this instead of showing up expecting to pick up my breakfast and hiking sack lunch only to find NEITHER had been made nor could be made. This is not the first time this has happened. A call would have been appreciated and it would be nice if the ordering website was kept up to date to show when items were out of stock.

Breakfast done right! I stopped into Market on Front this morning and was immediately glad I did. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The vibe is warm and casual--perfect for easing into the day.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the Spicy Pig breakfast sandwich and a classic drip coffee, and both hit the spot. The Spicy Pig lives up to its name--savory, just the right amount of heat, and layered with flavor. It's the kind of breakfast sandwich that doesn't skimp on quality or portion. The coffee was fresh and bold, no fuss needed. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Service was fast and friendly, and the space has a great balance of cozy seating and natural light.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Whether you're grabbing something to go or settling in for a relaxed start to your morning, this spot is a win. Can't wait to come back and try their lunch options next.

There were several vegan and vegetarian options. We ordered the VLT breakfast sando which came with vegan bacon and tofu and vegan chipotle aioli. I would highly recommend. And also the veggie burrito. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was pretty busy on a monday morning.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It took a while for our food order to come out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We sat outside, where most of the tables were taken.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

i was looking for a nice sandwich place and Market on Front stood out. I ordered a grilled cheese and they said it would take 20 mins so i left and came back. when i came back they had my food in a warmer to ensure it was kept hot. the sandwich itself was good as it was a good portion size and had a good flavor.

Really having a hard time deciding how many stars to give. Our food was excellent, we loved the vegan breakfast burritos. Quality was great and it had lots of flavor. The portion was fair, though I did wish it was just a little bit bigger. The wait was about 30 minutes after ordering, which was frustrating because we watched many other groups order after us, eat, and then leave while we just waited. After about 25 minutes or so we asked the server, she was a bit dismissive and told us "that's a normal wait time." For a fast-casual coffee shop I wouldn't expect to wait that long, at the very least I would've liked a heads up from the cashier when we ordered. After seeing other reviews it seems like wait time is a common issue. Overall, the food was quality but I'm not entirely sure if we'll be back. Maybe if it's slow or we have a ton of time to kill, because the burritos really were good.

Awesome breakfast burrito and speedy service. The barista made good recommendations and we got the bacon burrito. So good, although a little spicy. Highly recommend the burrito! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The inside seems a little crowded but fun.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If you're looking for food quick eats, this is the place.

Cold food that should have been warm. I believe they were waiting for this food to be put into the microwave to heat it up.

Super odd experience. Exterior // nothing to really elaborate on. It's very basic glass windows and a sign out front. Parking // so this is questionable. Monday through Friday you either pay for street parking or pay in the adjacent parking garage. However on Saturday and Sunday parking is free both on the street and in the adjacent parking garage. Interior // interesting layout. Not the best logistically. When you enter to the left they have where you can buy market items and sweatshirts. The counter is directly ahead to the right. You stand in line you order your food they give you a number and if you ordered coffee you have to go to the end of the counter to wait for it. The seating area is extremely small and very under prepared. People while I were there were dropping chairs, cramming 10 people into a small 4x4 table, tripping over my chair because they weren't paying attention, Etc not a pleasant dining experience. Food // so I really wanted to like this place. I really wanted it to be like catalyst. The problem is the food is subpar. And when I asked for it to be presented on a plate the lady behind the counter stared at me like I had spoken to her in a foreign language. I had to explain to her a plate a styrofoam plate a paper plate a plastic plate a ceramic plate some kind of plate. And she says to me well usually we just wrap everything up in a burrito. Told her I don't want all my food mixed I would like it on a plate. After considerable conversation she was able to bring it out to me on a recycled paper plate of sorts. Very odd experience. The food was cold. Scrambled eggs were cold. Potatoes were cold. The avocado was supposed to be cold and was room temperature. Overview / Conclusion // I can honestly say my friends and I will never be back to this location. What a disappointment. Between the lack of seating options, lack of understanding in the customer service area of what a plate is and the cold food that I think they were counting on the microwave heating up if I were to get it in a burrito form. There's just no reason to go here when there's so many other dining options. This is a hard pass for me.

I was hoping for better but maybe I had the wrong thing. The wraps looked awesome. The chicken in one of our salads was really dry. Service was really good. I'd give them another try and order a wrap.

My son and were in town for a cross country event. After searching Yelp for some good lunch, this place stood out with some good looking sandwiches and being downtown which we wanted walk through. We saw people sitting in the entree way when we arrived. I asked them how long the wait was. 30 minutes was the reply. Yikes. Well, this a market too, so we thought we'd get some drinks for race recovery and eat somewhere else. But I saw the sandwiches people were eating and they looked really good. The people who take your order are super kind, so when we went to pay for our drinks, I asked about the wait for a table. She said it was a wait for the sandwich as seating was where we wanted. Oh. I looked at my son who said it looks good, so we ordered a sandwich an ensured the wait. Mine was meatless, Hippy something or other. I'd had plenty of meat at breakfast so I went for that. My son ordered something piled with meat. I forget what it was. We tasted each others and agreed that they were both great sandwiches. I ordered a latte as well and it was good. Was hoping it would keep me awake for the ride home. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We had a good experience. Plenty of self served ice water which kept my athlete hydrated, nice seating area and a good vibe to the place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] If ever back in Missoula, we'll stop here again.

Ate here for quick breakfast! Great food, quick service and tons of options! They even have snacks for your adventure for the day and some grab and go options! Great stop before you go out for the day.

This place has fairly decent reviews so we stopped in during our visit to Missoula. The staff at the front was super friendly however, the food was truly the smallest portions I've ever seen and was not good. I ordered the breakfast burrito bowl and it came out with lukewarm warm microwaved eggs (about half an egg), 10 small breakfast potatoes and a very small portion of breakfast sausage. The only substantial portion in the bowl was the spinach. When I asked if I could get more potatoes and sausage, the girl working being the food counter was very rude and told me that "everything is pre portioned and there's nothing she can or will do". I didn't take a picture of the bowl with the toppings because I didn't think about it at the time but took a picture after to show how much spinach is in the bowl. Lastly, my coffee was honestly terrible. Would not recommend this place.

If you are downtown Missoula do not miss this place. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and you'll be happy you grabbed one of their breakfast burritos! Meat and veggie options. I opted for the sausage and egg and wow. Fantastic! The sausage was spicy and flavorful. The burrito was actually to big for me to eat. Order at the counter and they bring your food out. Super quick service, less than 5 minutes. Self serve drip coffee. Cute place to with plenty of seating both outside and on the sidewalk. I may be back tomorrow!

We did end up having to wait about 40 mins for a table and like other reviews, the price point was a little high for Montana. But we are glad we tried it. The place itself is so very very beautiful. Our server knew we were on a time crunch and was so great about getting us our food and check. I ended up getting the Ranchers Benny and hubs got the shakshuka. I arrived right when they opened, yet several seats still had crumbs on them. The service was quick, though not overly warm or welcoming. I also found it odd that the drink menu is printed separately on paper instead of being included on the main menu--it feels less polished than the rest of the space. As someone who eats plant based, I'd love to see vegan items clearly labeled on the menu and at least one more substantial vegan entrée option. I ordered the Powerhouse Overnight Oats for $22. They were actually quite tasty and surprisingly filling. However, at that price, I expected a little more. The chia seeds were dry rather than fully hydrated, and consuming dry chia seeds on their own is generally discouraged because they absorb liquid after being eaten. One final suggestion: please include menu prices on your website. It makes it much easier for customers to decide before visiting.

I also really appreciated that they offer several vegan options. I ordered the Creamy Blue Smoothie and the Banana Walnut Oatmeal. The oatmeal was absolutely AMAZING--perfectly cooked, flavorful, and easily one of the best breakfasts I've had here. It's the item I'd recommend to everyone. The smoothie was good overall, but the fresh mint was a bit overpowering and left an aftertaste for me. I think it would be even better without the mint or with less of it. I also appreciated that they use compostable straws, although mine was cracked when I unwrapped it. Later, I came back for lunch and ordered the half Brussels Caesar Salad with the vegan protein. The vegan protein (chickpeas and lentils) was delicious, and the half portion was surprisingly large. I also liked that the dressing came already tossed throughout the salad. One thing I found a little confusing was that the Brussels Caesar uses a vegan dressing but is topped with cheese, so I'd be curious what substitution is offered for guests ordering it vegan. The bread was good, although the butter was served very cold and was difficult to spread. A few suggestions that could make the experience even better: * Add a larger "Basal" sign above the entrance to make the restaurant easier to spot. * Install a large wall-mounted menu inside for easier viewing. * Keep tables and chairs wiped down throughout the lunch rush. The restaurant was spotless during breakfast, but by lunchtime several tables and seats needed cleaning. Given the price point, I'd expect a bit more attention to dining room upkeep. Overall: good atmosphere, friendly staff, and good food. I recommend the Banana Walnut Oatmeal.

The location makes it very convenient to go to the very pleasant bookstore next door while waiting for a table - there is no shortage of customers even on a Wednesday late morning. They have a combo plate that includes two eggs, hash browns, a protein (I've so far only tried the corned beef hash), and two pancakes starting at 17 with upgrades available for the pancakes.
