I purchased their $200 Mystery Whiskey Box, which was advertised as including $200 in value of bottles from Keg N Bottle. The two bottles I received were: * NULU Night Chapter 1 -- $69.99 on their website ($89.99 regular price) * Luckenbach Road 3-Year Straight Bourbon -- $69.99 That puts the actual current retail value of my $200 mystery box at $139.98. Even if you ignore the sale price and use the higher regular price, the value is still only $159.98. I understand that a mystery box is a gamble as far as which bottles you receive. I was completely fine with that. What I wasn't expecting to gamble on was whether I would actually receive the $200 in value that was advertised. I reached out to Keg N Bottle directly and gave them an opportunity to explain the discrepancy or make it right before leaving a negative review. I have not received a response. I purchase whiskey regularly and was hoping this would be a company I could continue ordering from. Unfortunately, advertising a $200 value, delivering significantly less than that, and then not responding to the customer is unacceptable to me. If Keg N Bottle reaches out and makes this right, I will absolutely update my review to reflect that. Until then, I cannot recommend the mystery box based on my experience.

The guy with the eyeglasses at night, the tall, young skinny guy whose name is Krist (who's probably the owner and who shockingly & out of left field made fun of my hairstyle after having been friendly with him for months--and i used to be a regular customer), the old skinny man are all wise-ass, weirdo jerks who talk behind your back & make fun of you in their secret language. They are the world's worse liars about the most simple of things. None of their food or household items are priced which stinks of California sales tax evasion crime. I would be happily willing to boycott this store by walking an extra 10 to 20 minutes for another one like Mini Mart on Ulric St. read more

Woohoo! This place is as good as it gets! Great staff, very friendly. If you can't make it to Ralphs or Vons then this place is the place to go if you want to grab a few quick items. They carry all the basic grocery items, fruits and veggies as well as a small selection of different cuts of meats and liquor, etc. They accept WIC for all you mothers out there! One thing that you have to try is their chorizo, it is delicious and only avaliable on Sundays! They also make their guacamole and salsa, very delicious! this is the mini market that has a bit of everything! read more

A full size local Mexican grocery store, a meat market that will blow you away, and last but not least, freshly cooked Mexican food to go. The weight of my 2 burritos in the bag immediately told me, I got a big bang for my buck. Prices are more than reasonable. Once I got home, I immediately knew I had a lot of food. I cut each one in half, and that was plenty for 4 meals. Then I discovered the burrito had beans and rice in them. I'm not sure I ever had them made like that before, but the beans made the overall burrito very juicy or moist, but not runny or dripping with grease like so many other places I have visited. They have the highest Yelp rating for Mexican food in Linda Vista, and now I know why. Don't question it, if you're in the mood for delicious Mexican food, and don't want to overpay, this is a no-brainer place to go shopping.
