Hidden in a strip mall, which is buried in a residential section, this liquor store is well off the beaten path. Plenty of parking out front and wide array of typical convenience store items with matching convenience store prices. The employees were friendly enough, keeping both registers available for quick check-out, and I noticed a steady stream of locals stopping by. Keg N Bottle nicely fills a niche for the surrounding residents, however, I wouldn't drive out of my way simply because I have closer and less expensive options to where I live. read more

This review is for the U-Haul part of this place. I made a reservation online, and then came here first thing in the AM when they just opened. Guy was super friendly and helped me out with my 10' truck rental. No pressure sales on adding extra stuff to your rental. I did request to add the insurance option though, super cheap and peace of mind for me. The truck itself is worn, it was a dependable ride. I was bit nervous driving a huge truck, especially since I commute with a roadster hahaha. But, the truck was not bad at handling at all. You just gotta allow yourself more time and space on the road. Remember to allow yourself enough time to refuel the gas tank before you return it back. I reserved a large truck online, and upon arrival next day some now the reservation was canceled, however they were still able to accommodate my request for the large truck on spot and really helped me out. These guys just stare at you when you walk in, even if you're a regular. I've been in here 400-500 times over the last 10+ years and maybe a dozen times they said hey how's it going.. I don't need to be best friends with them but geez man, say hi when your customers walk into your quiet liquor store. It's kind of awkward because it almost feels like you're bothering them when you come in to make a purchase. At least the beer is cold even tho it is over priced. It's convenient being the "neighborhood liquor store" but man, I'd save $3-$5 each purchase if I just go a few more blocks down the street to 7-11. I like supporting local business but the prices get bumped up about once a year. Owner is only there on Mondays and just wants that paycheck. Showed up for my 26' truck, The battery was dead. Then, he reversed the charges and has no idea when Ill get my money back, but he knows its not instantly. Now Im stuck with no money for the next truck, my lease has ended, I have no where to go. Told me to go elsewhere for a truck, but I cant afford it because my funds are on hold due to him cancelling without my consent, nor did he contact me to let me know what was going on. This is a great store. Not only great service for convenience but they also rent out uhauls which we used for my daughter and it was a smooth transaction and reasonable. The other day I accidentally left my preschoolers school work on the counter when I went to buy my son chips. Robbie didn't throw it out but waited for one of the teachers to stop in, and they were back in my hands today when I dropped my daughter off at school. He could have just thrown it out. There was only one person working and made me wait with a 6 month old baby while he attended to customers who can in after me to buy their items. This location absolutely needs another person working. Furthermore, he gave me the key and told me to find the truck. The truck was in a lot hidden from the rest of the trucks. Huge beer selection if you're OK with dramatically overpaying. Last year, they expanded with a huge walk-in cooler, stocked to the brim with craft and import beers. If you crave it, it's here. Very expensive, however, even for basic domestic brew. They also have a non-refrigerated wine selection that varies from "What's that?" to "Wow, they carry THAT here!?". It fluctuates month to month. They also have all the standard mixers and juices like most other liquor stores. I love that they keep WHIPPED CREAM in stock! I knocked a star off for the horrible, unpredictable hours they keep. No sign, no standard. You never know when they're going to be open! They typically close very early (around 8pm on weeknights). read more

This is a really strange store. Unlike it's sibling in the College Area, which is huge and bustling, this one is quiet and has a smaller beer selection. Not everything is cold (which is a good thing), and several of the bottles have a good bit of dust. That said, we visited on our house-hunting trip and found some extremely rare (and very well-aged) beers that we still talk about. read more
