I also didn't think he spent enough time on the head and face. I have spoken with 2 other customers who also believe Sam fell asleep during their massages. When I contacted his mother/business manager, she only recommended I make my appointments earlier in the day. I was already in there before noon. Because of this, I wasted one of the massage certificates I had already purchased. I am not happy about losing my money on this deal.

She immediately called me when I made the appointment to ask about my skin and if I had any previous experience with waxes. When I told her I didn't, she took the time to explain what she thought would be best for me and the process/what to expect. This in itself was very kind of her. Once I arrived to my appointment, I filled out some information sheets and was guided back to the room. She gave me the privacy to undress (which I have learned isn't all that common in other salons) and then again talked me through what methods she would use/wax, and to work she went. Through the whole process, she chatted with me and checked in continuously on how I was doing and if I was handling it okay, which I appreciated. To this day, she is the most gentle waxer I have had and the most mindful. I didn't leave with ANY wax residue left over and she offered a product to put on before getting dressed that would help with the redness and prevent ingrown hairs. Not only was her wax a great experience, but she asked me if I had any other skin concerns and I told her that I struggled with acne/redness. She sampled some of the products she sells on my face (completely free) and I ended up purchasing a face wash she recommended for my skin type. It's been 6 months, and I have repurchased this face wash twice because it did so well for my acne. I can seriously never thank her enough for that. Overall, Liz has by far been the best at waxing I have experienced (I have gotten many waxes since by other professionals) and I can not recommend her enough. One is Kelsey to have my hair colored and the other is Cathy Blackmun who does myofascial release massage. I've had lots of problems with pain, ribs, back, sciatica and more. Cathy does a great job of fixing my body. Sometimes when I've gone a long time without taking care of myself it takes a few months of regular visits to set me right. But if I am able to see her fairly regular, like once or twice a month then I find I can be much more active and with just doing a little stretching still feel great. After many years of seeing Cathy I had a hard time finding someone in California as good as she is at this type of massage. Her pricing has always been very fair, especially for the increased quality of life received. So if you find yourself in Lake Havasu be sure and call her for a great massage.
