The hygienist chipped the bonding again during that cleaning and they repaired a few days later. Went today for cleaning and the hygienist chipped the bonding again and it's being blamed on me "clenching" my teeth. I've never been a clenched or grinder. They won't get me in to repair for weeks and they acted like they did nothing wrong. Why is it only breaking when your office cleans my teeth? So the search for a new dentist begins again. Before I realized the chip had happened everyone had been nice and polite, but pointing out the chip happened in office made everyone blame me.

The first few visits we had the same dentist and liked her, but she left, and we learned (from staff) they have high turnover. We had routine appointments scheduled months 4-months ago; the practice needed to reschedule us due to vacations the soonest they could get us in was next week - I have a family emergency and need to be out of town next week and called to reschedule. I was told it will be another 6 months before we can be rescheduled. I canceled the appointments and am looking for another dentist.

I went in for a routine cleaning and told them that I was experiencing some discomfort and one of the crowns that I had done a year prior to, and Dr Mollie listen to what I had to say and could've easily told me I needed an expensive root canal or other dental procedure to repair, however, she diagnosed my issues and it was simply something small that she was able to take care of right then right there. I was not given any instructions by the dentist on what and what not to eat going forward. When I came back to get (another) filling/crown I was told it was my fault for biting down on something hard (?) and that they couldn't guarantee their work. So they put another one in and told me they weren't sure if my insurance would cover it? I looked at my bank statement and it appears they charged me for total amount in the meantime. No one followed up with me as of yet on whether they billed my dental insurance. When they put latest filling in I saw that it was uneven and they agreed to fix it. My previous dentist went out of business 2 years ago and I had not had a dental appointment in over 2 years. Staff and dentist are straight forward about the pricing of certain procedures and recommend things you can do to help avoid more costly work being done. - Despite what a previous reviewer had said I did not feel like they were after my pocket book. I had a filling, a debridement, prescription strength mouth wash, and a cleaning/polishing. The staff are knowledgeable and will take the time to explain things to you so you understand why things are important. They are also as gentle as possible when working on your mouth. I have had cleanings that felt worse than the debridement I received. This place has personality, character, and has earned my business. I will be forwarding folks to this location as often as possible.

The dental assistant who took my X-rays (I'm assuming that's what it's called) came out to get me and was super kind and easy to talk to. She explained everything as we went and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. After the imaging, Dr. Hernandez came in and went over everything they found. I honestly don't remember ever having a dentist be that thorough. He took his time, explained things clearly, and made sure I understood what was going on and had all my questions answered. This was just the first visit--they'll do the cleaning and anything else at a follow-up--but overall, everyone there was wonderful. It's hard for me to even say this, but I'm actually looking forward to going back. I told my youngest son and his wife (who are local and looking for a dentist), and they are eager to be seen by Dr. Hernandez and his staff!

I don't know if I was bamboozled or if the initial treatment/cleaning was just so over the top…read morewonderful and they try really hard to make you feel special to endear you here so you keep coming... but it's been downhill from then on. First, the doctors are wonderful and I have no issue with them on our brief interactions during my exams. Since my first visit with Stacey, on my next two follow-up visits she wasn't nearly as nice and even seemed annoyed when I tried to make small talk or ask to get more information on my gums. I eventually went with another hygienist due to scheduling and liked her so I switched entirely and have been seeing someone else the last 3+ visits. Like my previous office, if I have to reschedule at any time - they book out like 8 months so you're screwed. This is why I switched offices initially, who the hell is going to wait 8 months to be seen if they have something come up between the 6 month appointments? That means you're waiting well over a year even for a cleaning. Nope. It's happened multiple times to me here and it is the exact reason I switched offices to begin with. These appointments are booked incredibly far in advance and people have lives - so when you need to reschedule I can understand a few weeks or a month but my Feb 02 appointment being rescheduled for August at the soonest?! Unacceptable. Additionally, the receptionists are rude when you call and try to ask any questions and are condescending. I've been nice when I've called and I'm met with some sort of indifference and talking down to for asking simple questions or trying to explain a situation. I'm again switching offices. I'm out. Then 2 weeks ago I get a statement that I owe $700.00 with a previous balance that is over 60 days past due. Now all I had in December was cleaning and they did x-rays. i also have 2 insurances. I have called and left messages requesting a breakdown of where this balance is coming from so I can compare it to the EOBs from my insurances. I cannot even get that from them. they are suggesting more work. I would be an idiot it I have them do anything after this.
