Dr Kristol is a wonderful pediatric dermatologist, love his bedside manner and how patient he is and answered all my questions pertaining to my daughter's acne. He should get a 5 Star rating. Unfortunately I have to rate low for the overall rude and poor treatment I always experience from his obnoxious inconsiderate staff that has worked for him for decades. They act like union employees or dmv government employees. Every single visit you go to check in, they tell you to have a seat and ask you to return to validate if your insurance info & demographics is accurate. That is fine but they are not proactive. I use a cane for knee problems & asked my 12 year old daughter to return to the desk to get the document they want me to verify, the nasty woman refused to give it to her & expected me to return back to the desk to stand a long time while she ask me questions from the paperwork, to ask me to initial the top. I am not illiterate I can read it myself & initial on my own. You wait about 25 minutes for Dr Kristol , he comes in for 20 minutes. If you don't ask questions he is running out to see the next patient, mid sentence walking to the door. He will answer all your questions and is very nice. He is booked out 2 months in advance, this so called pediatric office don't have Saturday hours for working families , so you have to take your child out of school to see him. You can't get through on the phones mid-afternoon, his lazy staff has it fixed so they don't have to answer for a few hours mid-day. There is no answering machine. You can't even get an appointment when school is out for holiday weeks, spring & winter breaks because he is booked up for 2-3 months. His outdated rude staff acts like they are doing you a favor booking your appointment. They wouldn't have their jobs if it wasn't for the patients. I am surprised Prohealth allows this office staff to be so rude. I saw other reviews & other parents say the same thing. Dr Kristol have to know how about his rude staff, I'm sure he gets complaints & ignores it out of loyalty to his old pre-historic staff. Such a shame because he is a good doctor. Found another pediatric dermatologist office that has a friendly staff & is open of Saturdays to accommodate working families. read more
