The first time was relatively minor (all things considered). The second time meant that my kiddos and I needed to pack up and head to a hotel while the remodel from hell happened. The HOA policy covered the remodel - but Jerad and the Allstate Claims Crew took care of my additional living expenses while everything sorted out. I have not a dang clue what I would have done without that coverage. It was a really hard experience overall .. but seriously... you want these guys in your corner. Also - if you don't have renters insurance with additional living expenses or something comparable - go fix that crap today. You never know when your house is going to be stricken down by the water gods - or you know - a pipe breaks under your foundation and comes up through your concrete and ruins the entire downstairs of your condo... hypothetically of course. call Jerad. seriously... don't wait.

What was not disclosed was that I also needed to have a bank account on file for autopay in order to avoid extra fees. A month later, I received an email saying I still had a balance because of this hidden requirement. This was never communicated upfront, and I only found out after being charged unnecessarily. I have never had an agent do this before. Now I have to spend my own time fixing something that should not have happened in the first place. While the agent said she can remove the fee, the lack of transparency and the hassle it has caused me is unacceptable. I had hoped to be a long-term customer, as I was with my American Family agent back in Minnesota, but after this experience I will be switching agents when my policy is up. This was one of the most frustrating insurance experiences I have ever had…read more Kris Jackson at ProStar provided incorrect information and showed a complete lack of ownership during an already stressful situation. I was told my assigned agent was out of office for the holiday and that nothing could be done. However, that agent's voicemail clearly stated to press 1 to be connected to another agent, which I did. The alternate agent immediately confirmed that what Kris told me was incorrect. From there, I was forced to do the work myself. I personally called the policy department to remove our totaled vehicle from the policy. The representative I spoke with even stated that this was the agent's responsibility, but since it was not being handled, they would take care of it for me. That should never happen. When you are dealing with a total loss, you should not have to fact check your agent, chase down departments, and resolve issues on your own. I do not recommend ProStar if you are involved in an accident. Be prepared to handle everything yourself, because this office will not proactively help you. I dropped ProStar immediately after this experience. For comparison, I switched to Robert Pfarr at Allstate and the difference is night and day in terms of customer care, responsiveness, and knowledge. His team has been wonderful. I would not recommend ProStar to anyone, even as a last resort.

Anthony doesn't answer calls, doesn't reach out to lenders to get escrow insurance payments, doesn't return calls, takes days if not weeks to respond to emails, tells me that he can't get payment from my lender but tells me we have time because Safeco isn't cancelling policies because of the fires, then lets my policies cancel, doesn't tell me anything, doesn't inform me of the cancellations, doesn't let me know it's pending cancellation, then I start getting collection agencies calling me from Safeco. This is absolutely unacceptable for clients!! Anthony has wasted my time and money and continues to do so. Stay away from this place! You have been warned!!

Many customers stay because we don't bother switching like myself but after Mr. Amacher has collected my tens of thousands of dollars over 10 years, I don't think it's too much to actually get my insurance card in a timely manner. You only need to mail it out twice a year! To make it worse, my husband called last month and spoke to someone, again, to remind them they forgot to mail us our cards. Do you think we have our cards yet???? The physical card expired on 5/13/17 so we had to get on our computer and print a copy. How difficult is it to treat your customers like we matter? We moved out of Seattle years ago and will soon be looking for a new agent because this office is beyond incompetent and lazy. I am sick of calling and reminding them to do their basic job each year. Yes, I am frustrated and I have many good reasons why. Shame on me for staying this long. I will soon take my loyal business elsewhere.
