Such a fun restaurant right on the beach. Beautiful spot during sunset. Has fun swings around the bar and great drinks. Service is very friendly and can accommodate any type of food allergy as well. Menus are in English and Spanish. Food is very fresh and worth the price
Kristy. You tried it, girl! Unfortunately, when we arrived to the island, Kristy's was the only place in the area open early for breakfast. I ordered a smoothie, which was fine, and then huevos rancheros omlet, which was a disaster. The eggs were burnt and the omelet had about a pound of cheese on top. Who is eating that much cheese. It was all clumping together which just made it look even more gross. When the server came to ask if we wanted to-go plates because we clearly hadn't eaten, we told her we didn't like the food and there was literally no response.
Spending a couple days on Vieques, we tried to visit as many places as possible. However, this place was so good that we came back two days in a row. It's super cute with outdoor seating steps from the ocean with all of the beach vibes you could possibly want. The service is out of this world. Everyone that works here was super friendly, gave excellent recommendations, and were some of the kindest people I've met in a restaurant setting. Everything that we tried was absolutely amazing. However, the burger is absolutely the star of the show. It was so good the first day, we all ordered it the second day. If you are on the island, this is a place to visit immediately!
Loved this place! We ate there everyday while on island. They were fast and had great drinks, coffee, food, location, and people. Our first time we worried it would be a long wait, it was packed and people were waiting. As 4th on the list we were seated within 15 min. Service was also fast. We ordered a very spicy Bloody Mary and Tropical Hurricane. Both were amazing and they even got the spice level right for us on the Mary! We were torn on what to eat, we had seen a few bad reviews on one of our favs, Huevos Rancheros... but our server said this day they were served in a stuffed artichoke - oh it was so amazing - loved it! We also got a dragon fruit pancake - so thick and with just the right sweetness! On a different visit we got a huevos rancheros omelet and it was so good too. We also tried their lobster salad which was sold out at one point so we had to try it... it was made with vinegar almost like a salsa which was different but very good. A very casual place with bar and table seating, aside the road overlooking the ocean. We met I think every server that worked there, including owners Joe and Kristi, all with friendly great personalities. Can't wait to visit maybe next year!
We landed in vieques and were looking to find some grub and some drinks and happened upon Kristy's and I'm so happy we did. Service was great and we got a few drinks each and also some food. To drink, I had their house made bloody mary and it was delicious (not too much horseradish which I appreciated) and slightly spicy. My friends all had mimosas with different juices; I think pineapple with oj was the fave but they were all really good. To eat, we decided to share the fat ass pancakes and my fiance and I also shared the tacos. The tacos were pretty good but the pancakes were a major wow! The presentation was really cool and we were informed we could get two different types so we did the reeses and strawberry shortcake. They were both really good. Overall, a great place to go.
Great service and great views, right by the water. The Mimosas were excellent!! I tried the sammie sandwich and it was good but nothing memorable. It isnt run by Puerto Ricans (or didn't seem like it) however good vibes.

We came on Christmas Eve and it was a long wait so we decided to wait and come a few days later right after watching the sun rise. Absolutely beautiful view and only a few other people there. Cannot visit Vieques without stopping here for breakfast.
If you only got to have one meal on the island, come here! It's the best meal I have had! It's next to our lodging and I regretted not coming earlier but on our last morning here so I only got to try the arepa! The coconut arepa is interesting and delicious! The coconut coffee is refreshing! Went well with the arepa!

We waited about 20 minutes for a table which was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the ocean view. Our food was incredible, the servers were so incredibly kind. They have continued to say hi to us around the island!! Not pictured is the lobster stuffed avocado, which was amazing. This should definitely be your first stop when you arrive in Vieques
This Place was great during our stay at Islas Vieques. We stayed at an air bnb close by so we could have walked over. Food: 5/5 We had the veggie omelette and breakfast sandwich and coffee to get our day started. Portions were filing and everything tasted home made. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very attentive and checked on us a couple of times while we dined. Ambiance: 5/5 The views from the dining patio were great. It really made me feel like I was on vacation. The beaches are soooo beautiful with their turquoise and blue waters. I was surprised there was no Yelp page so I made this one cause we wanted breakfast and stumbled on it by mistake. This should be a breakfast staple as restaurants are scarce in the areas. Most places open later on in the day.
Located in Esperanza, this breakfast place was such a magical find. Who goes to an island with wild horses and breakfast on the beach?! Winning already! Super causal vibe, which was so nice. Everyone was so friendly and talkative. I love meeting locals especially when they share a little bit of history too. We started off with coffee and lattes. For a chill breakfast place, they have left coffee! Love that I could get a latte! For the table, we ordered pancakes to share. The pancakes are so delicious! Literally like a cake! We got the cinnamon roll and Reese's pancakes. Good way to try a little of everything. For breakfast entrees, I ordered the taco rancheros. The table ordered the steak omelette and the seafood omelette made with duck eggs. Both were specials. Also, the table got a burrito. Overall, the experience was so great! we stopped here for lunch/brunch they seated us pretty quick, We didn't wait no more than five minutes. The food was amazing and service was great. Definitely recommend! The açaí bowl was amazing! The pancakes were super fluffy and thick also recommend! read more

Location: good. Right next to the ocean so it's nice to have a view Food: good. I got the lobster scramble. The lobster is very tender. The flavor itself is good, but not out of ordinary. Service: ok. They are busy, so service is a bit delayed. read more

We got seated 30 minutes before closing. Staff was super friendly and spoke English. They were great at letting us know when they were closing the kitchen incase we wanted to order more. Food was good, we got the Huevos Ranchero omelet and an açaí bowl. The açaí came with TONs of fruit on it. read more

Kristy's is a must go-to for Vieques breakfast. I did get two Fat Ass Pancakes that were a strawberry shortcake special, and couldn't finish it all! Everything was delicious! What we loved most though was how friendly everyone was and sitting outside to enjoy the ocean breeze. Multiple tables next to us were tourists coming back because they loved it so much. Warning- they don't accept credit cards, but they take both cash and Venmo. read more

We first stopped at Kristy's to grab to-go smoothies before snorkeling, both were delicious. We decided to come back after for a real meal, and the experience was overall great. The restaurant is right next to Playa Esperanza, which is a beautiful view. The staff were very friendly and gave us lots of recommendations for Vieques. The food was all delicious, especially the pancakes! They also had fresh passionfruit mimosas which were amazing. read more

The best service we got on the island it was fast and friendly! They seemed on top of it compared to other places, although as locals say service is slower than on mainland this place was the only exception. Food was good nothing over the top but still very delicious! read more

Amazing food with amazing beach view! This small gem serves delicious dishes, and their Açaí Bowl is a must-try, topped with fresh fruits. Must-try the perfectly cooked pancakes; with varieties to choose from, and the omelette was also a super hit. The beach view is a bonus! While the smoothie and creamer coffee didn't quite alright, they were still enjoyable. PS: They do not accept cards. So either Venmo/Cash/paypal. Highly, highly recommend this spot! We loved Kristy's brunch! The pancakes were perfect - so thick, fluffy, and warm, with high quality delicious chocolate chips and sauce. The savory breakfasts were also delicious. We enjoyed the fried fish on eggs with tostones and the breakfast tacos. The service was attentive and pleasant. It can take a little bit of time to get the food because it is so carefully homemade, but it is worth the wait! Nice outdoor seating with views of the ocean. read more

Best brunch that can be had. Loved the ambience under an old almond tree with sea views. Great service and amazing food. Two of us had the Huevos Rancheros omelettes which were amazing! My son (13) ordered the Red Snapper sandwich and thought it was amazing. A delicious place for breakfast by the beach! We got the B.Y.O.B, fat-ass pancakes, sausage and egg pastelillo, açaí bowl. Except for the pancakes, the servings were small but good for the price. The açaí bowl wasn't on the menu but I asked if they had it and they said yes. It was a little watery though. Everything else was delicious! My favorite were the fat-ass pancakes. They were thick and fluffy and appropriately named. The staff were sure nice and kept refilling our coffee. It was a great environment, especially being so close to the beach. read more
