She was so kind and helpful and scheduled me for an 8am appointment the very next morning (a Saturday nonetheless). I saw Dr. Capper, who was not only clearly knowledgeable and skilled, but also a truly friendly and kind person. His dental assistant, Linda, was lovely as well. I left feeling so much better and with a plan moving forward should I have continued issues. I plan to recommend Sacrey & Sacrey to friends and family in the area. I began to enjoy the idea of clean, shiny teeth. Then Dr. Carl and I discussed my treatment needs and how to best address them. I chose which issue to solve first and he said okay. It seems to me that Dr. Carl is highly skilled and highly motivated, but also modest. I waited a long time to find the right dentist for me and I feel much relief now.

Edit: they had also cancelled an appointment on us without communicating anything... apparently they had switched systems and failed to carry over the old appointments.

My family has been extremely happy with Dr. Romanelli and it was a pleasure to have been working with her staff for a few years now. We also referred several other families in the community from the past few years. But the incident that took place today left us dumbfounded and so disgusted with the managers attitude that we will never be returning to this practice. I got a call from manager who has apparently been working for 9 years at this location asking to confirm an appointment. It was not my appointment and I had to ask her to check if its regarding my wife's instead. She said yes, the appointment is for my wife. As we have family visiting, I wanted to reschedule on behalf of my wife and I was told there would be a fee. I told the manager that we have been loyal patients of this practice and waiving the fee would be appreciated. The manager rudely told me that there will be fees. I told her that I understand there is change in management and the new management might be imposing these fees and wanted her to see if she can do something about it. The manager even more rudely said that she has been working there for 9 years and said we signed some document not sure how many years ago saying we will pay the rescheduling fee as its not within 48 hours. She went on about more things in patronizing and condescending tone. At that point I realized that I was talking to someone that doesn't have any basic customer or patient management skills and told her we will be terminating this relationship. At that point I was told I am not the patient so I cannot reschedule/cancel the appointment and my wife is supposed to call them back. I was flabbergasted at couple of things: 1. Why she was talking to me for 5 minutes and arguing with a condescending tone about my wife's appointment, if I do not have the authority to cancel or change my wife's appointment 2. How a highly rated practice has had an employee of this caliber survive 9 years and become a manager ! Someone who is reading this review with more HIPAA knowledge might want to check if this is a violation as my wife never consented for me to be making/confirming/cancelling her appointments to begin with. Just wanted to reiterate that the doctors and dental hygienists are top quality at this location even after management change. But the manager is the reason why we will never be returning to this practice. A high quality practice needs high quality employees and the level was service today was abysmal and deplorable. The new owners are more than welcome to reach me directly to discuss further. I am sure the manager knows exactly who I am after what happened today.

Me being new to the area we searched for the closest place and found Pebblewood Dental. They took my mom in right away and she saw Dr. Mendiola. My mom was hoping for something temporary until she returned home. Dr. Mendiola was honest with her in telling her that he did not want to charge her for a temporary fix and if she just kept it clean in the meantime to get it fixed with her dentist back home she should be just fine. Also, he did not charge my mom for the exam since he was unable to provide any type of service other then the exam. My mom and I were shocked. He was not looking out to just make money off of us, he was honest and caring! He was also very thorough and knowledgeable in explaining as to why the temporary fix wasn't necessary! Also, because of this great experience, I decided to return for myself. I was unable to find care for my 11 month old and Dr. Mendiola told me it was perfectly fine to bring him in. I can't explain to you how wonderful and patient all the staff members were to me and my son. Lets just say I will be hiring a babysitter for my next visit for my personal sanity but if I ever needed to bring him with me again I can trust that I have a wonderful staff to make my son and I feel comfortable. Cons: Do not go to them if you need custom work done. I started the process of an implant on front tooth 10/2022. They could not get the shape or shade of my implant correct to match my other front tooth. I have had to drive to Arlington Heights twice for a Color match- those goes 2 hours of my time, each time. Two times they had to drill off the implant to put a new one in. This is the 4th time going back to have this "fixed" and the implant color STILL doesn't match my color of my other teeth and now my tooth next to it is longer than the implant I get it it's my front tooth it's hard to match to the other front but when I suggested crowing the one next to it to match the doctor said no. I was also told that due to "my case" they will no longer do front crowns without doing 2 or 4 of the front. They also made me sign a waiver. Way to make me feel like shit for something they should have done right the first time. Have they been accommodating in trying to fix it each time- yes- but this has been a joke trying to get it fixed. I tried to be understanding but it's still not right and I'm not going back for a 5th time. So their goes 3k that I had to pull out of savings down the drain and I will have to have another dentist fix it.
