Spilled liquid looks like it's not been cleaned in awhile.

I came in to pick up some iced coffee while visiting the area and was mortified at the mold and nasty nature of the store the people in the Burlington area deserve better. Obviously the store manager isn't doing their job either when it comes to having their store clean. I will not be back to this location by choice and will be reaching out to whoever to attempt to get this fixed for the employees and customers. I feel as though it should be noted that I have found out management has been aware for months and this is what the store looked like on 4/19/25.

The colors of Kroger. That's all.

I like going shopping there. I need my Cheerios my pride, my MrBeast bars, my white chocolate everything like everything I love it. The atmosphere is amazing. Scanning is pretty rude but I still like it like oh my gosh it's so amazing. I recommend going here but it's a little small.

Frozen items laying around. There was more in kiosk on ends. ALSO, look at yen FILTH on food racks..

This place is GROSS!! FIRST, I have had so many items that were opened when I got home that I can't even count. It happens so rarely that I know there should be a penalty of some kind. There was even some bacon this morning that was open and turning brown. SECOND, this place is FILTHY, it's like nothing is ever clean. EVER! You can literally walk in at 6:00 am and self checkout screens and areas are soooo dirty from day before. There are frozen items EVERYWHERE, in every isle that I would bet are placed back in the freezer.. DO NOT SHOP HERE!!

Good place. There's a ton of variety and prices are as expected for Kroger. I'd recommend this location!

One of my favorite Krogers! Not too big and you don't have to run all over to find what you're looking for.

We were able to pick our own pumpkins and I got a 1/2 bushel of apples to make my own applesauce (which is seriously too easy). The staff was super amazing and helping us know what to do, where to go, etc. Who doesn't love going to an actual farm for pumpkins and apples? That's what the fall is about! I will definitely go back to McGlasson Farm again in the future. It's also cool to ride the Anderson Ferry back to Ohio when you're done.

Keep in mind they only accept cash and Venmo!!! Just stop at the counter and they will give you a cardboard box. The area for picking is very large. There are even areas across the road you can walk to. I'm always curious so I asked at the counter about the types of pesticide/sprays they use. The lady said it wasn't her place, she just works there, but she knows they spray some kind of stuff, just not sure what. She said they do try to use the least toxic stuff they can get by with, but we could always try to talk to one of the owners at a later time. I just did a really good water/vinegar bath when I got them home before putting them up. I like that the place is pretty local and not overpriced. It would be a great date idea or just to go with some family. They have other pick your own options throughout the year, so be sure to check them out!

While traveling in northern Kentucky, he stumbled upon one of these places, The Farmstand Market & Cafe. Farmstand offers comfort food with a farm-to-table focus served in a cozy space with a bar and attached market. We started with the Goetta Hanky Panky Dip. This was made with cheesy goetta, bagel chips, pumpernickel bread, and light rye served in a cast iron skillet. The dip had a good sausage flavor with salt and some light spice while being cheesy, creamy, and full of flavor. The bagel chips were very crispy but were not served warm. The pumpernickel and rye were dry. Each complimented the dip, adding texture to the bite. My wife had the Reuben Sandwich. This sandwich came with sliced corned beef, homemade Thousand Island, pickled pig sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese on light rye with bacon ranch pasta salad. The pasta salad was cooked spot on while also being creamy. The bacon added crunch and saltiness to the salad. The rye had a great toast, and the Thousand Island was tangy and creamy. The pastrami was dry but had a good salty flavor. The sauerkraut was crunchy and had a good sour flavor cutting through the salty meat and the sweet dressing. The cheese was gooey and nutty and added flavor to each bite. I sampled the French dip sandwich and Mulligatawny soup. This was prepared with a sliced top round with provolone on a French roll. The soup was prepared with rice, chicken, carrots, onions, celery, lentils and spices. The chicken was very tender, the rice was cooked well, and the vegetables added texture to the rice. The soup was flavorful, had a wonderful aroma, and had a good salt content. The top round was thin and offered good flavor and chew. The roll was fresh and had a good chew paired with the ooey and gooey cheese with an excellent buttery flavor. The au jus had good flavor but was slightly salty, which overpowered it. Farmstand offers grilled cheeses, hot sandwiches, burgers, salads, appetizers, soups and main entrees. They also serve beer and have a full bar. The servers were pleasant and knowledgeable. The Fat Man says that The Farmstand Market & Cafe is Fat Man Approved with 1 chin.

The real showstopper was the creamy berry-lemon cake we split for dessert. A touch of lemon in a white cake and loaded with yummy berries, served with a side of whipped cream. It was delicious!
