Every fresh ingredient I bought had something wrong with it. The oregano was browning when I opened the package and only a few sprigs was usage (you couldn't tell through the packaging), and half my garlic was bad once peeled. In the beginning, I was very impressed with this nice, new Kroger. However, now I see it for it's true, terrible self. Every time I've been in the last few months, they're always out of something, especially in the produce section. It's not even just one or two things, its bananas and spinach and potatoes and cottage cheese and yogurt and apples. Speaking of apples, they're always mealy, like they're too old to be selling. Plus, half the time there is no parking in the lot and you have to walk all the way from the bank or whatever is in front of it. read more

I do not buy produce here, but they always have everything else I need in stock. My cashier this past visit was especially kind. I have gone to the pharmacy for the past 4 months and I have always had a great experience. The pharmacists are friendly and helpful, and my prescription is always ready quickly. The only downside is parking. I was there on a Sunday (which is of course the busiest day) and I had to park next to the bank. Otherwise, good experience! read more

So glad to have found this brand new Kroger. This is the best grocery store in the area. The produce is fresh and abundant. The sushi chefs are friendly and offer party platters at affordable prices. 4 creative rolls for about $20, yes please. And they let us substitute out preselected rolls for ones of our choosing. Fresh seafood, decent beer/wine selection, wide selection of specialty items. It is right across from the ghetto target, so not the best area, but it is looking much nicer over there. read more

A great addition for some grocery competition in the Uptown/Deep Ellum area. The employees are well trained, friendly and eager to help. There's a large salad/Mediterranean bar with large selection of cheeses, olives, and self serve salad ingredients and several other stations for pre-prepared entree's and side dishes. There's also an impressive produce section with a well stocked selection of fruits and vegetables. The store itself is quite large, so most house-hold items can be purchased all in one place. There's even a decent selection for organic and ethnic foods! All in all it's definitely the best grocery store in the area!! read more

Marked prices were different than prices at register. Wasted my time and I only got money back after waiting in a 2nd line for the one item I caught. Then I had to leave my contact information with them for the "return". As far as I'm concerned it's fraud to advertise 1 price then change it at the register and when you buy groceries you never check each price Beyound when you put it in your cart so I have no idea if more items fell through the cracks. You think It;s going to be crowded with long lines, but it's NOT. They have plenty of lanes and plenty of self checkout stands. I love coming here. Their produce always looks delish. They knew they were going to be in a hip crowded part of town, and they planned for that. It is apparent in the design of the store, and the number of employees they keep present. Now I don't have to go to Mockingbird and Greenville or way to Cedar Springs. I have my Kroger, Target, and Sprouts, all within blocks. read more

I use this Kroger fairly often and I am generally pleased most of the time. My review is about the Starbucks at this grocery store. For the love of god, does anyone there care at all that people are getting their drinks and most likely going to work? Their sense of urgency is about ZERO. I've tried to make friends with them and they're all pretty nice but come on. It should not take 5-7 minutes to make me a shaken iced tea. They could at least try to hustle. I was at self checkout buying some candy when I notice out of the corner of my eye someone staring at me from my left. I notice I don't have my krogers card so I press the button for an attendant. I look around no one comes. I notice the girl two feet away is the attendant. So not only has the woman made me feel uncomfortable, but she refused to provide assistance. I have reviewed this Kroger before and have never had a problem but today was a different story. I ran in today to get a few things on my lunch hour and had the worst experience. Stephanie was my cashier and she was so rude and nasty to me. She told me where to put my groceries and then told me that she didn't like what I was buying. I was work hard in the company for 10 years of my life, I was store manager of that store, and the only what I'm find its only people no educate, rude and no class! I was fired of my job only for caught a shoplifting in the store...the bad thing is I'm tried do the best for the company, and the company no support your own people's...and by the way I'm find a rat in produce that going to eat the peanut and all the nuts at organic hail, I'm reported to the store manager and they still have the rat..so just be careful!! I had a horrible experience at this Kroger. I thought it was maybe just an off day, but my roommate went to another Kroger and had a similar experience. The produce was covered in flies, there was no one bagging groceries, and the deli experience was horrible. At the deli there were four people behind the counter and not one of them was helping a customer. More customers started arriving and soon there was a long weight and still none of us had been helped. Finally I had to ask, and they looked at me like I was crazy. Clean store with a great selection, ample parking and friendly staff. Definitely a better experience than the other Kroger near by.

Parking lot is extremely dangerous. My husband witnessed a purse snatching there a couple months ago and ran after the robber, but then was afraid the guy had a gun so he stopped. Many neighbors are reporting purse snatchings; I've seen a security guard there-- always standing inside so it's no deterrent. That being said, the deli ladies are beyond rude. One older lady in particular is the worst--(has dark skin & glasses)-- when I use the kiosk to order deli items, a machine in the deli prints out the order & a sound alerts the deli workers to grab and fill the order. 90% of the time she ignores that there is an order-- even when there are very few customers at the counter. So then, when I sent orders from the kiosk, I looked over at the deli, heard the bell go off and even saw this older lady glance at the machine. But she ignores it. So then, I walked over recently and and nicely said, "I just want to make sure you got that kiosk order." She said yes; twenty minutes later when I came back to pick it up, she had gone on break and my order was still sitting up in the machine, untouched. I've tried to get her name but her name tag has the letters almost completely worn off. (She probably did that on purpose!) I've complained to the manager twice, who totally agreed this behavior is ridiculous, but it keeps happening. read more

The deli employees are by far the worst in the area. I've come several times in hope that I just got the worst employee the time before... and I'm disappointed every time it just gets worse. Not to mention... there is an order for all employees serving food to wear masks during covid-19 and every single one of them had one on but around their neck not even on their mouth or nose. One was eating m&ms over the meat slicers, one was picking her glued on eyelashes all in front of customers during a pandemic. To say I was disgusted was an understatement. I informed management and they didn't see to care either. I moved to uptown recently and will continue to drive to the Kroger on Mockingbird Lane not only for the cleanliness but the overall customer service. Disappointed in the clicklist ordering experience. I gave it a year of trying before going back to Amazon fresh. Constantly are out of whatever I ordered with substitutions that are not as good. Received moldy bread, soft strawberries too expired to eat, bananas that were turning brown and only good for a couple days, pullups for a 50 to 100 pound child when I ordered pullups for a 4 year old, substituted meat with 85% lean instead of meat 99% lean when I said substitution was okay but please make it at least 90% lean. Every once in awhile you might get fresh produce or a completely filled order, it is hit and miss I guess depending on who is picking your groceries. But its not worth those times when the order doesn't go right which is about every other time. read more

When I called to inform the bakery about my order, the women knew what I was talking about before I mentioned it. I ordered a plain white cake with cream filling and strawberries. Holiday Meal packages-The worst! I went to Kroger Capital av in Dallas and they gave me a list of dinner packages for christmas to pick from and said to order 24 hrs before online or by phone. So I called and ordered the Turkey express and the ham. They girl on the phone said it was all cooked and I just needed to heat it. Since it was food from the deli I assumed it was REAL food... and REALLY cooked. I arrived at 5 PM to pick up my Christmas eve dinner 2 hours before my 10 guests arrive home. And Guess what? NOT cooked. A Turkey that needed to be seasoned and putted in the oven for 3 hours, inside a plastic bag, a ham that needed to be cooked and all the sides awful frozen food from the frozen food aisle. I dont understand it was exactly like going to the store and make grocery shopping. I had to go to Eatzys and Wholes Food and get REAL cooked food for my dinner in less than 2 hours and cook some stuff at home, my guests arrived and I was not ready, what an awful experience. Please don't offer this service or say that you just pick up the stuff from the store and not that are cooked dinner packages that just needs to be heated. read more

Do not ever order delivery from them. They will send you food that is expiring. I have gotten meat that was open. They will also allow you to order online and not notify you until you are waiting on your groceries that they are not delivering. They will give you this number to call 18005764377. They never pick up this line. I have called several different times and when you call the store back they can't even tell you if they are open or not. The number says "we are busy" and hangs up on you. You should also know if you get in a situation with them no one at the store will care. I had a manager that could be heard in the background almost delighted to tell me it's not their problem. Horrible service and I won't be shopping there again. read more

I've been a customer of this Kroger for 30 years. I have a problem with their use of the PA system in the store. When an associate calls on the PA, they YELL AT THE TOP OF THEIR LUNGS like they are trying to yell at someone in the back room. This is so loud and startling, that it is painful to hear and experience. I was at the self checkout yesterday and there were 2 people on either side of me that winced and ducked at the loud painful sound. We all commented that it was excessive and very uncomfortable to hear. I spoke the manager a couple times, and he reacted like he didn't know what I was talking about. So as a result, I cannot go there again and will discontinue my visits for groceries. read more

I was at this store the day it opened last year but waited a while before writing this because you can't judge a place until it's been open at least 6 months. I shop there at least once a week and have to say that it is my favorite grocery store in the metroplex. As many of the reviews say, it is very clean and has a decent organic selection. The clerks are mostly fun and polite. I often see the manager, Nik Mikula, walking the isles and making sure the produce is super duper neat and organized. Maybe he has ocd but hell, that makes for one hell of a store manager! read more
