I've been to this Kroger before but it's not the closest one to me. I came early morning close to 8:30 and it was not busy at all. So many parking spots. I walked in and forgot that it's still an old school layout and design. The brown color scheme was the former look for Kroger and this place is still repping it. They shouldn't allow solicitors to harass customers, i was in the store today and young guy and woman were literally hunting down customers, they saw me and started speaking from far away, saying if they could ask me a quick question, and without waiting for my reply yelled again asking who was my utility provide, I just looked the other way,and they yelled again wishing me a good day, so i really didn't get a chance to shop in that area,just wanted to get away. Sitting here yet again waiting for a large order ahead pickup made 14hrs ahead. Wife is back from major surgery so expected a quick in and out. Which is why I did order ahead! Again told there are problems in the store. I show up half hour past when their texts keep nagging me to come. Now I waste time when I need to be back home playing nurse. I've realized something during my short stay on this planet and that is grocery stores run out of different items during periods of civil unrest and natural disasters. In cases like this pandemic, this kroger store seems to be out of blueberry english muffins. Yes they are my favorite and no I'm not demanding that they always have them in stock, but I do find it comical. Admittedly I do love all Krogers.... This being said, this has become my Kroger that I go to and enjoy near my house. It isn't renovated and doesn't have all the special new things the other new Krogers have, but it will have just what you need for those late night "my milk randomly went bad" runs. The produce and bakery are good, just what you need, nothing more and nothing less. The staff is kind, smiles and greets you when you come and go. To those who read HGs review below: there is another Kroger a mere five blocks away; just go south on Dierker turn left, turn right bam! Another Kroger. FYI For me, I find this a well stocked supermarket with adequate choices and enough space I can dance around and ignore (and annoy) people plugged into my Ipod Touch. The place is huge, so I often have to back track when I miss an aisle due to shimmying to Love Shack or whatever, but it is mostly organized. The produce is good, I hadn't notice the problems of the reviews below. The service at the various department counters is alright. Usually clean well lite and free of debris, it is a nice environment to shop. Sales don't ring unless you have a plus card, but you can get fuel points, though they expire to quickly. There is usually no help on the floor which is a minus. The cashiers are efficient. It is a standard supermarket, they do the job standardly. read more

This is the best grocery store we have ever lived near. We have saved a fortune buying "manager special" items. There are several clearance sections throughout the store and we always find a bargain. Excellent produce and vegan options. Most of the staff are very friendly and make us feel at home. I would rate this store 5 stars but unfortunately some of the staff are rude, untrained, and frankly annoying. I would strongly recommend the self checkout if you aren't buying an entire cart full. We will definitely shop here after we move even if it's an extra 10 min drive. read more

I like Kroger for some things. Their canned organics are cheaper than competitors. Soymilk is cheap. They have good sales on blueberries and cheap organic bananas. Their produce isn't as good as Giant Eagle or Whole Foods, but it's usually cheaper. So there is a trade off. read more

This is one of the better Krogers in the area. Every time I come in to purchase sale items, the products are there and in multiple varieties. Service is great! Everyone smiles and says hello from produce to diary to frozen to cashiers. Any time I have ever had an issue, they respond warmly and quickly to correct the issue. A year ago I purchased a recliner, the manager bent over backwards to help me carry out the chair and get in into my car. (that took some serious manipulation, let me tell you. Twice I have purchased deli platters from them. Both times the food on the platters were super fresh (no sitting around for hours) and looked better than the platters pictured on the website. Admittedly, there is another Kroger a mile or so away on Henderson. This Kroger beats them hands down, especially with customer service and friendliness of the staff. The only reason I am not giving them a full 5 stars is that they do not have the expanded bakery, deli, and wine section some of the other Krogers have. read more

My experiences at this Kroger have gone downhill since I moved to Columbus, despite a few employees who actually weren't all that terrible. This store now offers up some of the worst in customer service, (mostly the Clicklist people) attention to detail, and overall shopping experiences. Some employees and managers seem confused about the very simple concept that the customer is always right. (extreme situations that may involve law enforcement are the exception) I stand by this concept adamantly, because if you are looking at this logically you will see that no customer needs to go to this store. We have plenty of other choices, even if some of them are further away. No need to be targeted for poor treatment by employees who don't like having their numerous failures pointed out. I am supportive of the decision to employ special needs individuals. But the unimpaired employees (I would never make life more difficult for the impaired.. I myself am disabled) here who think they don't deserve to hear about their failures just baffle me. If the customer was not satisfied, and can make a reasonably stated case about what you did wrong- then you failed. Period. Don't want to hear about that? Choose a field that is not so customer service-intensive. Of course I cannot shop at this location anymore, and while Kroger probably doesn't need the thousands I spent (and would have continued to spend) at this location every year- it probably wouldn't have hurt either. This is a weird little Krogers. It's old school and hasn't been remodeled and expanded like all the new Krogers marketplaces around here. They have tried to add additional items but the store is so small and laid out so weird it seems really cluttered. And maybe it's just me, but they seem really expensive. If you want to go to Krogers I suggest the big one a short drive away on Henderson. As for grocery prices, the Walmart a couple blocks away is much cheaper. read more

Overall, it is more or less a typical Krogers. Regular prices slightly jacked up, and different prices for the same item, depending on what Kroger you are buying it at. But it is conveniently located within walking distance of my condo, so that is why I go there. read more

I live right around the corner and enjoy my quiet shopping time at Crowne Point Kroger with David and Nina the managers. I have lived here 7 years and prefer the small grocery stores for ever day shopping. I know where everything is now and can get through the store quickly. There are usually enough cashiers open and I like that Kroger hires some special needs folks for baggers. I also get my gas at this Kroger, easy in and easy out. read more

A very nice Kroger. Much nicer than the old dumpy Kroger on Henderson. There are always employess, especially in produce, asking if they can assist you. Customer service is top notch as well. The place has been redone and has an expanded organic section as well as more produce. The shelves are stocked and the place is clean. I wish there was a better deli and more ethnic foods but regardless this is still a great Kroger. read more
