I was in the Columbus/Hilliard area for work in from the Des Moines IA metro. I decided to do a little bourbon hunting in my off time tos ee if I could find anything different than what is one the shelves at home. It took some time to figure out the OHLQ system, but it wasn't too hard to master. This was the closest Giant Eagle to the office I was working out of... And I spent WAY too much money there. Lol The spirits selection is large and it's seperate from the area they keep the beer and wine in. I almost left thinking they didn't have what I was looking for. That would have been a huge mistake... The parking lot is large and easy to access. The store is clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. I ordered a Minecraft cake online. The cake I received was nothing like the one pictured online. For $62 I expect it to be something close but this seems like they have hired people who should not be in the bakery or it's just laziness. The mouths on the one baker in the back using the F word every other word was also not appreciated. I only gave 2 starts because the cake and icing were good. read more

worst service ever. I ordered 13 items and was charged for the 13 items. I got to curbside pickup and got 7 items. I questioned the young man who brought the bags out and he said they were out and I would be refunded, even though he had no idea what was missing. I got home and called curbside pickup and was told they were short staffed and there was nothing they could do. I called "Customer Service". They could do nothing because everyone was on vacation. THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. read more

The parking lot is big enough for the area, the store is clean and well kept, but the pricing is rocket high compared to kroger. The lack of bags and charging for bags, while not employing enough people to ring you out is annoying, but generally they have at least one cashier on staff. As stated in other reviews, unless i see heavy discounts for an hourly self pay savings for ringing myself out, i refuse to do it. This store offers no discounts, as even with coupons it's nearly 30% more expensive over the dublin store. While i don't mind paying higher prices if the money is used for more employees and better service, this isn't what's happening here. read more

This is a solid spot for grocery shopping. It's probably my favorite grocery store in the area. It's clean, tons of parking, carts are well maintained (and actually sanitized - they have people wiping carts), it has a Starbucks (always a plus), you can mix and match your own beer 6-pack (cool), stuff is always in stock, and they usually have the fancy cheeses that the other grocery stores don't have (major plus). Also, the layout of this giant Eagle just makes sense. Some of the other giant eagles in the area have a weird and nonsensical layout. This one is great. read more

Giant Eagle on Britton Parkway in Hilliard is being reviewed for its home-delivery service. During the month of January 2023, I exclusively used Giant Eagle's delivery services due to personal surgery. Excellent service. They use a date/time system that came off without a hitch. Name the Day. Name the window of Time. Giant Eagle made it happen. And to add a cherry on top, their personal shopper's would TEXT to suggest different products if the choices I made were out of stock and unavailable. Sweetness! I never received an error in product selections; pricing was fair. Heck, I even tipped because of Giant Eagle services being good. Horrible customer service. Had to use a self serve checkout because that's all that was open. Waited over 10 minutes for someone to check my ID to purchase alcohol. Had to go to wander the store to find someone. I've had better service at Walmart. read more

I really like this grocery store. Its always clean and always stocked. I prefer them over Kroger. It's just a nicer shopping experience. Now they have Starbucks and their baristas are actually nice. The baristas at Kroger seem to hate their life. They always look angry. read more

Cashiers act like they can't hear you . Double rang up $6 and when I asked to take it off he said no it's a hassle.

What? No one has reviewed this? Well, it opened about a week ago, in a new development near 270 and Cemetery Road. Surely lots of people have stopped in. I got an email for the Getgo gas station here, and stopped in to take advantage of it (and reasonably priced gas.) The Getgo was nice- well-stocked, friendly staff, a food and coffee counter which I'd never seen at other locations. They were busy and there seemed to be some start-up glitches, but they handled things well. I went into the store for a few things. Big, airy, clean- a typical Giant Eagle. With typical, slightly-high prices, though sales brought some down to reasonable levels. Selection seems good, and the staff were very helpful. If it's open 24 hours I might actually stop here once in awhile. Otherwise, I'll be stopping for gas. All in all, a nice addition to the area, and a good GE store. read more

I really really like this location. It seems really know I'm not sure what it was built but it seems like everything is pretty updated. Compared to Kroger which are usually go to, it seems a bit dark and it seemed a little hard to find things, but overall it was spacious and I didn't have too much trouble finding things compared to other new locations. Had a good selection of stuff. The staff in the meat department were really good and suggested great cuts for me which was awesome. I guess I looked confused! There was ample parking, no issues in that area. Our use the self check out there and no one in line. Overall it was easy in and out clean location.It's not one of the big fancy ones I has a salad bar anything though. read more

CHARGING FOR BAGS .GO TO (((((((((KROGERS))))))))) they are free . Giant Eagle makes enough money on there products to furnish paper bags. I have shopped and spent lot of money at this store unfortunately I wont pay for bags and I would hope enough people feel the same way. This giant eagle has has the regular grocery stuff. I really prefer the Grandview giant eagle because of the bar area and the prepared food options. The cashiers are typical non-friendly types. read more

If you are ill, disabled, temporarily unable to walk the store, or just feeling lazy or even rushed to get to the next thing, this is a fantastic service. Sometimes I shop here, because it's super convenient to where I live, but I always hate myself afterwards when I hear the total. The cost is always twice what I would have paid at Kroger if I hadn't have been too lazy to drive an extra half mile. There are never enough checkouts being manned--probably because the store always feels empty, so I have to use the self check out. I love how it loudly yells your purchases like "BAGELS!" or "DONUTS", just so you can feel judged by everyone around you. The layout of this store is stupidly atrocious. I always find myself stuck trying to get through and get around the produce section. Oh yeah, and they don't carry liquor. Do your wallet a favor and go to Kroger. read more

I love that fact they have my favorite cookie in the bakery, raisin cookie, can not find them elsewhere. They have a draft beer and wine by the glass bar, the choices are quite average. The meat selection is below average and above average cost. The layout is terrible, many of our go to items are not carried by this location. Would have loved if this store went in Mill Run, much easier to get to. The only way in is through a round about a block from the street. Better than the Target store, not as good as the Kroger in the same neighborhood. On a better note the Get Go station is. Very nice, it is a shame that the prices there are twice that of the store yards away. read more

Won't shop here anymore. They have a dry cleaning service inside, which I thought was super convenient. I brought my brand new Brook Brothers khakis to get them dry cleaned. They burnt the legs on the pants. They left burnt marks. When I complained, they said they would try to fix it. I told them you can't wash out burn marks, but they wanted to try. Three returns to get the burn mark out and over a month, still not even a phone call to say what they intent to do. They keep ignoring you in hopes you just go away. If this is their idea of Quality and keeping the customers happy, they are doing it wrong. read more

Not open 24/7, not always well stocked. Selection in every department is less than that offered at the sawmill store- notably meat/seafood, wine, beer, and [especially] cheese. No state liquor agency. The aisle layout is dysfunctional cross between their market district and ordinary stores-- it's awkward. There are several sections that have been removed from the aisles and placed in an oddly arranged area on steel wire shelves. I only go bc it's close by. So far no good . read more

We love this Giant Eagle we shop here all the time. As a mother of 3 it is very nice that they have what's called an Eagles Nest that is a free service that watches children 3 and older free of charge for up to 2 hours. Sometimes my husband and I come here drop the kids off then go to the beer center and have a beer on tap and relax then enjoy our grocery shopping while the kids play video games, watch movies, enjoy pop corn sometimes as well as other activities. That being said I dnt shop the inside isles much. My family and I try to eat from the produce, deli counter, meat and seafood counter and the refrigerated section meaning milk cheese yogurt and eggs. The prices are close to kroger in that area. That being said I'll pay a little extra for the free child care as well as the better fuel perks. The fuel perks here are awesome. You get .20 cents for every 50 bucks you spend and there is no limit it doesn't stop at 1 dollar. Also if you use your fuel perks and it's 1.50 and you have a 1.60 off you don't loose that .10 cents it rolls over and stays till next time. Love this place read more
