This Kroger is ok, you can find a decent selection of food, etc. the service is pretty good and the store is lit well and it is easy to find products. I removed 1 star as the store location is in a sketchy neighborhood and this location is a bit run down. Kroger is also slightly higher priced than some of its competitors, but if you are near the DBU campus, your choices of food stuffs are limited. read more

Went to the pharmacy to pick up some medicine and the pharmacy manager, khalil is so rude and disrespectful. He quickly and rudely dismisses anyone he "helps" Didn't even answer any question I had about my daughters medication. Techs are helpful but horrible manager! read more

I love this store. They always have my favorites in stock. We shop there a lot. BUT! The last two times I went there (once in the morning, once at night) they had zero cashiers and made everyone use self checkout. No cashiers at all. We had a lot of items both times and they wouldn't fit on the bag holder thing, which is required that you leave all your items there until complete. Plus we had some heavy stuff as well. It was a mess. I don't know what they are thinking. I hope other Kroger stores aren't doing this too. read more

This is based on the front end manager I forgot her name -i was a lot aggravated I'll add it later. I'm not saying anything about race which I prob should point out- how about a freaking pandemic- no time for this bs! So my son went kroger as he has done many time before to get a money order. First of all she asked if his name is on the card then assumes it's a prepaid card which it was but if it was ‍... and States we dont take prepaid cards for money orders! Per company policy... now that's a *&amn lie! How many people use those to pay bills? ALOT. as many times as weve done this this has NEVER happened. the Kroger on Pioneer Parkway is terrible. DO NOT transfer your medications there! I have been taking Armour Thyroid for nearly 10 years, with the same doctor, and this pharmacy gave me another medication instead. The pharmacy said my doctor didn't specify, but she did. The nurses at my doctor's office have been good at dealing with this mess of my medication, because this pharmacy messed up. The nurse at my doctor's office even asked me to change pharmacies. I will be taking the other thyroid medication, until I can get my Armour Thyroid later this week, AT ANOTHER Kroger pharmacy. read more

Dirty store, long lines, purchased raspberries turned bad with mold in two days, I also bought black berries that went moldy in two days. Rotisserie chicken was not even fully cooked. Moving from Austin and shopping at HEB to now shop at Kroger I truly cant understand why they do not take more pride. I can't believe I'm saying this, but Walmart next door is my new grocery store. I want to be clear that this location is disgustingly terrible at customer service and communication. All I'm going to say is I'm new to Texas, I always did grocery pick ups at my local smiths and they did not treat their guests as such. Yesterday I placed a pick up order because I needed a few essentials for my sick babies. The time slot was between 6-7. Around 6 o clock I get a call asking "if I'm still able to pick up my order today? And if I'm there yet?". I was utterly confused as I have never received a call like this from Kroger... i did not check in yet so I wasn't sure why they were asking this. Anyway I proceed to answer with this ridiculous call and the lady says "ok take your time I was just asking a question" and then I get another call 20-30 minutes later again! Asking if I'm going to pick up my order today? This time it was a different lady I believe. I don't understand why I'd place an order for a certain time and day and not pick up when I've already paid for it, why do you keep calling me to confirm, I place an order for a reason which I shouldn't have to explain, but since they want to nag at me for placing an order! I'm taking care of my sick children, they need me and I don't have time for you to keep calling and asking if I am still picking up my order! this is very rude and considerate. I've made probably over 50 pick ups at a smiths in Las Vegas and have never received this confusing behavior. I would understand calling me if I was late after my time slot choosen, but not right at 6! Kroger do better! Hire better people and train them better! read more

Given its location in Grand Prairie, I was shocked that this Kroger store was not only a Signature store but that it's relatively nice inside. The Kroger in South Grand Prairie is extremely outdated and quite gross. I definitely did not get that vibe from this store. Employees are visible and willing to help if needed. While this is not going to by main grocery stop, if I find myself on this side of town I will drop in. They have self checkout, a decent produce section, and a good selection overall. What more could a Kroger shopper want? read more

Today we went to the customer service desk and while one employee was helping a customer, the other one was just standing with her back to the customers in line. The staff is rude, poorly stocked most of the time, flies and gnats around produce, which is not the freshest, the store smells bad and feels dirty . I've shopped in this store for over 30 years, and over the past year or two, it has gone down hill fast, and more particularly over the last six months .... and the pandemic is not an excuse for any of the things I've mentioned here. So stinky. It's my neighborhood Kroger, but I wish it were cleaner...or just not smelly.

This store is not bad. The employees are almost always busy because, despite the store's small size, it runs almost as many sales as the huge market stores in other cities. Customers aren't very educated and can be very rude at times, but given the location of the store some of it is understandable. There have been some attempted kidnappings and a robbery near this store and in the parking lot, so safety is an issue at times. Usually security is present, but if you're looking for a good deal and moderately friendly staff, this is the place. read more

Rude customer service maybe it was the worker in the front making the store look bad!

This is a two fold review- first a shout out to the produce mgr. I went last week and he was very professional and courteous and sold me exactly what I needed. Second - My husband bought me a dozen roses from there on Valentines Day. They didn't look that crisp when he brought them home. By Tues they were bad, completely wilted, and today they are dead. As opposed to roses my son got me that are still beautiful. Even tho I changed water daily. This afternoon when I was at store I asked customer service about refund or replacement and clerk there refused, saying there was too many things customers could do to kill flowers. Huh, good way to escape providing fresh flowers, just blame the customers. Moral is - don't buy flowers from Kroger, they're not good and don't last. We won't again. read more

This Kroger is pretty well laid out. It's simple and easy to find everything you're looking for. If you know where everything is then you'll be in and out in no time at all. Sometimes the lanes will get long but hey what store doesn't? read more

This Kroger sucks. I've purchased food that turned out to be out of date on more than one occasion- and I swear I think the stockers sometimes KNOW it's out of date and put it there anyway. Their carts are in bad condition. The store isn't clean. They refuse to buy local craft beer even though every single other Kroger in DFW has it. Their produce is terrible. They often run out of carts because no one brings them inside. I wish there was a better option close to me. read more
