On Thursday October 9th at 2:53 pm I called the deli at 1027 Jeffersonville Commons dr. I placed an order for a funeral the next day. I ordered 3 assorted sandwich platters for pickup at 2pm on October 10th. I called at 12:14pm on October 10th, spoke with the same lady, who confirmed my sandwiches would be ready by 2pm. When i arrived at 2pm, the same lady, who confirmed they would be ready, told me my sandwiches weren't available. No apology, no rushing to make them, no offer to start them, nothing. I convinced them to start the sandwiches while I spoke to a manager. As I was talking to the manager the two girls in the deli were just standing there listening to us. I politely turned around and asked if they could start my sandwiches. One girl went to get to get the bread and the other continued to stand there. Admitting that she confirmed the order and didn't make it with no explanation as to why. The manager was as shocked as i was, she went to the back and came out with 3 sandwich platters. The deli lady said they were for a door dash and they weren't the same sandwiches I ordered. Noticing that my sandwiches weren't going to be made in time, I told the manager I would take them. I'm very disappointed in the customer service I received from the deli. They were in no way busy, when I walked up they were so busy talking they didn't even acknowledge i was standing there. And then to not apologize and rush to make the sandwiches. I was stunned. I left that day with 3 platters of ham, turkey and cheese on a butter roll instead of the assorted sandwiches I ordered. No apology, no discount, not even a have a great day. read more

Just continue to use Kroger at Jeffersonville Commons. I regularly balanced Meijer and Kroger, but now make Kroger my main shopping stop! They aren't perfect but their rewards; fuel points, genuinely customer service makes them stand out. Meijer's is trying to be a mini Costco in having to buy quantities ( retired ) that we'd never use to get a decent price; plus stocking and correct pricing doesn't seem a concern for Meijer. The pharmacy is also pretty good considering how busy they can get! read more

Never left a grocery review before but I went out of my way to leave this one. Our son, a clean cut student, has been consistently bullied by "an old lady with long grey hair" as he put it. She accused him of having a fake ID (its real), refused him purchasing NyQuil when he was sick, and last time went out of her way to cross check every item against his receipt. Today I was here and my milk sprang a pinhole leak right at the self checkout....it was literally spraying. I quickly bagged it to contain as much as I could and then approached the lady with long grey hair to tell her it was leaking and making a mess. She huffed, turned her back and walked off. I tried once more...and told a clerk in the isle...he said "tell her" and pointed to the lady. So i got a new milk, checked myself out and left the other one sitting there running all down the self checkout. Truly unreal. read more

This is our regular grocery store. Shopping here is quite frustrating. Several times recently, we've went out of our way to make it to the store to purchase items on sale, only to find them out of stock. I know what you're thinking, maybe I should go when the sale starts. We have been! I thought the supply chain issues were pretty much over. Most of our problems recently has involved the Meat Department or Produce Department. A few weeks ago, they had St.Louis Ribs on sale. We were at the store the day the sale started. No ribs on display. I went to the meat counter and asked about the ribs. The gentleman behind the meat counter just shrugged and said, "We ordered them and the warehouse marked them off". A week or two later they had Kentucky Legend half hams on sale. We make the trip to the store the second day of the sale. Same story. Today, we went to the store for Chuck Roast on sale, this is the third day of a seven day sale, no Chuck Roast. Spoke to the young man behind the meat counter. He claimed they ordered a pallet, but the warehouse didn't send it. Do you see a pattern here? A couple weeks ago, we were at the store the day their sale started (Wednesday). They supposedly had Athena Cantaloupe on sale. No Cantaloupe to be found. I asked the Produce Manager about the sale. He said the Cantaloupe would be there on Friday. Well that really helps on Wednesday. Also, even IF they have the sale items in Produce, they ring up full price. By the time you realize you've been overcharged, your told to go to the Service Desk to get your money. Often, the line at the service desk is lined up to the door. Today, we purchased grapes that were supposed to be 1.29 lb. We were charged full price. I didn't realize it at checkout because I was bagging my groceries since the checker didn't have any help. read more

Wow. A new Kroger. It's big! It's new! It's nothing special. Having been to Kroger Marketplaces in Indianapolis, the Jeffersonville one is a poorer sibling. Instead of a big deli/sushi/food court, this one has a couple of counters for pizza, barbecue and sandwiches. Instead of harp music on the second floor to help ease your digestion, there is no second floor. Basically, the Jeffersonville Kroger is the same one we had further down the street, just bigger. Same stuff, but harder to find. Oh, and they sell clothes and shoes. With Meijer less than a mile away on the same street, not to mention Kohl's, there is little need for fashion choices from a grocery store. I do like the cold beverage selection and the space between aisles. Other than that, it's nothing special. read more

I am a very forgiving person when a business has a bad day or week even. This is my FOURTH screw up with Clicklist at this Kroger. I should be making omelets in my kitchen right now, but instead I had to resort to a fast food drive thru because my order was not ready. I am beyond livid. I always complete their surveys expecting someone to contact me with an apology, but never... The first screw up was in the summer. I ordered 2 lbs of crab to cook my son for his birthday. Knowing crab runs at least $10 per lb and I scanned over my receipt as they were loading my trunk and the crab was only around $5 on my receipt. I got out and asked to see the crab and when she found it, it was in brown paper and dripping all over the place and it was one tiny claw. What did they do? They gave me a $5 coupon for my next order! WTF. I had to go in, stand in the long customer service line only for them to tell me I had to go to seafood in the back and get what I wanted and then come stand in that line again. The point of doing Clicklist is to avoid going in that place. The second screw up was about a month ago. My order was tossed together so sloppy, I had several things smashed. Canned goods with cookie dough, avocados with a loaf of bread. And I got someone's apples that I didn't order. Last weekend, I had an order to be picked up late in the evening on Sunday and they called me about an hour before and said the order wouldn't be ready until the next day. I told them to just cancel it and nevermind. If you haven't done Clicklist yet, you lose your order when that happens. I took a lot of care into what items I had in there and it was all lost. Everytime I run out of something, I put it in my Kroger grocery cart so I won't forget it. All lost. I couldn't wait until Monday to get my groceries though. They did nothing to make up for it. Now, today. I had an order I submitted yesterday for 10 am today. When you reserve a time, you have an hour to get it so 10 am would be 10-11 am. I got there around 10:15. I pulled in the empty lane and called the number to let them know I was there. He said, Oh, you're a 10:00 order. I meant to call you guys to let you know it wouldn't be ready until 12:00. O M G. So, I put pants on, drove all the way up there and scheduled the trip around my mom's birthday lunch today only for them to tell me my order wasn't ready. Wouldn't you think you should call people well in advance of their scheduled order if it wasn't going to be ready? Quit offering a service that you can not fulfill. Hang it up. Take some lessons from neighboring Krogers who are successful. I've never had issues with the other ones. And make it up to us when you do screw up. A $5 coupon isn't going to cut it. Meijer is a lot closer to me. Just saying. read more

I was just in the location at 1027 Jeffersonville Commons in Jeffersonville IN and when I was checking out the cashier, I have his name, but won't post it here, made the comment that I would not like the Impossible beef I was purchasing, that real meat that he gets from the butcher is so much better. I am not a militant vegetarian I don't argue people out of their beliefs, but commented simply that I don't believe in killing animals for food. Should have been the end of it, but the young man goes on to explain that's what animals are for and that I should look at nature. At that point I just replied BULLsh*t and walked away. I'm sure I will be back eventually, but it won't be soon. read more

This is definitely my favorite Kroger in the Louisville and Southern Indiana area. It's clean, organized, the shelves are generally well-stocked, and the team we've encountered working there have always been kind and helpful. The modern layout, well-designed displays, and intuitive signage make for a seamless shopping experience. There's a wide variety of fresh produce, quality meats, and a vast selection that I was able to find everything on my shopping list, and then some. read more

The new Mega Kroger is wonderful, I really enjoy shopping here, with the much larger produce and deli areas. They have almost everything i need for my shopping trips, which makes it nice not having to go to different stores. Their Alcohol area has many types so you don't have to run to alcohol stores for different type of harder stuff, the wine and beer section is very big. They carry many household items in this store even clothing and shoes. Sadly they don't carry the type of Dog food I use but they do have large isle that carry most name brand of pet food. The store is big of a maze for me still learning where everything is but over all I love it. read more

I've been to this Kroger's numerous times in my life this used to be the area that I lived in for a little bit of time and I went to school in the area as well. There is nothing really wrong with it it's Kaina on the need to be renovated side to be honest. But the foods always pretty solid there's no real big issues or anything they have everything you need and usually stocked pretty well so no problems with this particular Kroger for an area it's a good place to shop read more

Kroger is your typical giant supermarket. It's a great place if you want to get everything possible all in one stop. The prices are fine. You'll find some items cheaper at other places and some you won't. For me, a grocery store is all about location. This store is not the one closest to me, so it's not my primary grocery store. If it were, it would be. But unless I move, it's just not going to snag the gold medal. read more

They added changing seats for both side of restrooms!! I often used their ClickList and I'm loving it. Sometimes they give you substitutes when they didn't have the exact stuff and if you let them do so, and usually they give you better products. This morning I got a call from Kroger that my 8 AM order was not gonna be ready in time and then they need to settle it later that day. And then the girl started laughing because she realize she was looking at the wrong name and she apologized and I thought it was kind of interesting. About 10 minutes ago guess what happened? Kroger called to tell me that my 8 PM order that I did place couldn't be for filled until 11 AM tomorrow. This is the third and final time that that's happened trying to use Kroger Pickup. I tell you what that's fine...I understand everyone's busy ...I understand that we are in the middle of this time of year and that everyone must be using them. But it's clear to me that over the last three weeks it's been useless to use their service and I'm not going to use them again. I set up a click list the night before pickup on a Saturday. At my pickup time on Saturday I pulled into the spot, checked in with my spot number and opened the trunk. Over 30 minutes later I received a phone call stating that my order would not be ready until 7pm that evening. No choice, I go home and return at at 7 pm. Shortly after I arrived back at the store at 7 pm I get an email telling me that now my order would not be ready until 10 am the next day. I canceled the order and will not go back to the Jeffersonville "Super " Store. I think the click list is a wonderful service especially in times like these. I have tried & still trying very hard to like this new Kroger however it is difficult to maneuver through the store with all of the other customers also having a hard time finding items. Not happy that certain popular item have been removed from their shelves, this makes me stop at Meijers to pick up the items Kroger has removed. I shop here frequently without difficulty. The rating is for their Clicklist. I have previously had minor errors in my Clicklist without saying much, but tonight did me in. I placed an order yesterday, with a pick-up reservation for today at 6p-7p. At 5:45 pm, I received a message that my order is "running behind" and I can pick-up between 7p-8p. That was fine for me because I am a nurse and my shift was running over anyway. So, I arrived at the Jeffersonville Kroger at approximately 7:27p. All the spots were filled, so I had to wait. When I was finally able to pull into a spot at 7:38p, I spoke to a female voice after calling 812-288-0010 and was told "your order is not ready". I said "when will it be ready? I reserved for 6p-7p and got a message that it was rescheduled to 7p-8p". The female voice said "it will not be ready until tomorrow". I said "well, that would have been nice to know before I sat here and waited". I was received with a smart alick remark of "I am sorry. Our system is messed up", with a wretched tone of voice, then the female hung up one me. -I called the main Clicklist customer service to cancel my order and was told to call the store directly. -I then called back at 7:53p and spoke to a male voice. I said "I want to cancel my order". The male said "uuhh, ok, it's canceled". That was it. No regard to customer service at all. I am completely done. -side note-I have used their delivery service via Instacart and received impeccable service!! I highly recommend paying the extra cost for that because I have had one too many mishaps with this Kroger's Clicklist situation. read more

This Kroger is one of the nicest ones I've visited. We've needed a nice Kroger on this side of the river! They have a huge selection of kids toys, clothes & really adorable home decor...oh and groceries. They carry boars head products & Murray's cheeses-the guys at the cheese counter can even cut your cheese to your ideal size for a small or large (or if you're like me, sometimes single) gathering! They're also really knowledgeable and can help with setting up a paring! Their produce section is always well stocked, but they don't monitor the produce as meticulously as I'd like. There's often mold on some of the soft produce like tomatoes & oranges which makes me wonder what rotations look like and if they're keeping too much back-stock to run through it properly. I enjoy using Kroger's deli area for catering when I have a party, they do a nice job and have a good variety of food options at this location. The butchers are so helpful, they're always smiling and happy to be working! I love making fondu with my husband and they will cut meat to your desired size which makes dinner a breeze! They can also put fish into an oven bag with lemon, butter or seasoning meaning you just need to get home and turn on the oven for a delicious dinner! So easy! Overall the store has an amazing selection, the freshness of produce is the only reason for the star ding! read more

I love Kroger. What a place. Great selection, good environment, and kind employees. The only negative in my trip occurred in the checkout line. I was patiently waiting for my turn, loading my groceries onto the conveyer belt...the cashier kindly checked me out. But then when the bagger got to looking at my merchandise she felt free to speak her mind "I've never seen anyone buy this much alcohol before" she said...I was buying 6 bottles of wine because there was a deal and I figured eventually I'd get through it all and save some money. However, this woman was convinced I was an alcoholic. "My boyfriends parents are alcoholics and I've never seen them buy this much alcohol." I appreciate the concern but maybe accusing your customers of being alcoholics isn't the best impression before walking out the door...unless you want them to never come back... read more

I was super excited for the new Kroger. The previous Kroger in Jeffersonville was terrible. This one is just as mediocre. Every time I had been here there's only been a few checkout lanes open or only self checkout. This store is almost 3 times as big as the last store, but they didn't hire any additional staff. I like the Scan and Go feature, but the last 4 times I used it I have been selected for a "random" search of my cart. I understand once, but four times?? Also the pharmacy staff is never friendly. All of them seem stressed and unhappy to even be there. I love shopping there and I would love to get my prescriptions at the same time, but I hate dealing with the grumpiness. read more

Nice looking store, I know they were in need of a newer and bigger Kroger. They got it and more, love they carry more general merchandise items, clothes, and even a jewelry selection. My only thing is that some of the aisle ways can get very congested, should have made them at least a foot or two wider. It is further away from me, I'll visit Meijer more now to avoid having to go down that way. Been going for the entire 8 years I have lived up north, here in Jeffersonville. Great shopping selection but the checkout experience can be less than desirable. Long lines in all available lines including self checkout. You can have the luck of the draw in regard to the cashier. Some are extremely slow and appear to be none caring. I waited a good twenty minutes to purchase just one item and when I reach the cashier she started cleaning her work area. Frustrating. But the store has good people on the floor which are openly willing to assist. read more

The bakery is a sorry excuse of a bakery. I ordered my son's graduation cake about a month ago. I called a couple of days prior to picking it up and they had no record of the order. What's so scary is what if I never called to confirm the order then there would be cake to pick up on the day I was scheduled to come in. This is for his graduation party and whoever took the order is obviously a complete idiot. I ended up going elsewhere to place my order for a cake. What this wrong with the customer service nowadays. How would they like it if they got screwed. I hope the manager at this location sees this and gets a better handle on things. I guess I'll go to the corporate office site after this. read more
