I don't usually frequent Starbucks because I get overwhelmed when ordering as I'm not a regular, so it takes me time to figure out exactly what I want. Every time I come to this location the employees are so patient with me. They describe all the varieties well. Then on top of that the last two times have stated that if I don't like the drink they will fix me a different one. Each time with their recommendations and patience I have enjoyed the drinks I purchased. Today was no different with the iced brown sugar oat shaken espresso drink topped with ube cold foam. Delicious!!! The warmed chocolate pistachio loaf was equally as delicious! The workers were warm, welcoming, and helpful which makes the ambiance so inviting. I tend to frequent this location whenever I decide to venture out to Starbucks. I have yet to be disappointed. read more

This continues to be a regular coffee shop for my husband and I because of proximity to home. If you come off 64, it's a quick right into the parking lot. The drive thru is fairly fast and orders are consistent. Baristas seem patient with questions about drinks. While I'm not as much of a fan sitting inside (why does every Starbucks crank up the music?), they have a decent patio when the weather is cooler. read more

Stopped in on our way to the Bourbon Trail. This is easy off/on I-64. The restaurant is clean, spacious, and welcoming. The team working here are SUPER nice and personable - Kentucky is full of friendly folks so it's nice when you find the same of them in the service industry. Always have great service here. Recently started working nearby so been frequenting this location. Today, I had the best experience in the drive thru with Marissa. (And for the record this is the first time I've met her so this is not a biased review). She had the best attitude, was so helpful and sweet. And took the time to laugh with me while still being effective in her job and keeping the line moving. In a world that often lacks warmth and genuine human interaction... it is so easy and even acceptable, it seems, to do the bare minimum for others/people. But. I find myself longing for this type of warmth and human interaction often. Therefore, when I experience it, I like to acknowledge it. I hope more people begin to realize this is what we need... young and old. It's not one generation causing it so we need to stop pointing fingers and control what we can control... ourselves. It doesn't take much to impact somebody in a big way. Great job, Marissa for being a role model for others and making my afternoon brighter with your sweet spirit! I'll give this store one more star than the last one because they were very friendly and fast with service. However, I ordered a Carmel Sweet Cream Cold Brew and again they put the cream on the bottom. I've been ordering the cold Brew drink at many other Starbucks and they always made it right with the cream on the top. I use the mobile app to order so they is no way I can add a note to ensure it's made the right way when I order. If this persists I may have to change my favorite to something else. read more

I wanted to like this Starbucks but... I have been to many Starbucks and this one has to be the worst. They have messed up my drink every time I order. The first time I ordered, I got a crème Frappuccino which is very different than coffee. It is just the powder ice and milk. It had coffee in it and it was not blended well. It was somehow both watery and had huge chunks of ice. They definitely need to change their blender and train their employees to distinguish between the two. Second time, I stayed in bed and let my boyfriend go pick us up some drinks. He wanted coffee and I wanted the new paradise drink. His coffee was fine. Mine obviously doesn't have the coconut milk as the "drinks" are supposed to. It's just the pineapple refresher with no coconut milk even though the label says "paradise drink". I have had the paradise drink at the Summit Starbucks. Second and third pic for reference. You can see it obviously isn't light and creamy enough to have coconut milk. It also makes me mad because there is a 50¢ price difference. It would be convenient to go to this one instead of the surrounding ones because it's super close to my apartment. This a great location, quick and easy and right off the interstate. I've been in a few time and the location is always clean. The staff is always helpful and courteous. If you need a coffee fix this is a good place to jump off the interstate as you head in or out of Louisville. read more

I had just downloaded the Starbucks App which allows you to see what each location is capable of making. I walked in, after some shopping, and ordered something from the app... which was, for them, off menu. The Barista was kind, though, asked if -I- knew how to make the drink... I was looking it up in the app when she realized she DID have the recipe and despite never having made one, was up for the challenge. Lickity Split she whipped me up a Red Velvet Cake Frap, which was a bit chunky for my taste, due to the chocolate chips, but SUPER tasty! The location itself was a bit hard to navigate as a walk-in customer. The parking lot is kind if a pain, and it's obvious it was designed to function more as a drive-through, primarily. But, I know it's there now, so, I'll likely be back at some point... read more

I stopped in to work quick on a Tuesday am around 7am. There was plenty of seating, and there was no line! I did try to place a mobile order while there to save me some time, but for some reason the location did not pull up on the app. The service was prompt, and wasn't really over the top friendly, but hey, I am still trying to wake up. When you struggle to stay awake while driving, you know you need to make a stop. This is just what I needed before sitting in a 5 hour class. They have seating both inside and out, when the weather allows. I would think the parking may be a challenge during the day. The store is located in same building as a Jimmy Johns. But this is a perfect place to stop in the am. They also have a meeting table that seats 8, which is a plus! read more

I go through their drive-through when I am in this area doing things for work. I do this because sometimes my boss pays me back for the money I spend on coffee. Does that sound like a scam? It is. I am not ashamed of that. I also need the juice to get me through the day. This Starbucks in a pain in the neck to get to but I do my best to come here anyway. I always go through the drive-through and they produce my coffee efficiently. I usually come here any time I am dying without coffee because I either stayed up too late or I just didn't have time to make coffee in the morning and was rushing. Other than that, I will show up for some specialty drinks around wintertime. The service has always been good, although I think a particular staff member who works here is a bit immature at the drive-thru. I didn't enjoy them laughing at me because I had a bad hair day and found it absolutely rude how they could not contain their laughter at the drive-thru and act in a professional manner. Stopped in early eve for a cup of coffee (Vento with coconut milk) trying to put a sent into the 4 gift cards I was given two Christmas ago. I will admit that my favorite coffee is Beans in Germantown followed by Dunkin Donuts hence the difficulty is using up these gift cards. Starbucks in Hurstbourne is clean, friendly and efficient. This location was very confusing to an out-of-towner. Maybe the locals know how to zip in and out, but we got stuck in strange cul-de-sacs of parking lots in our search for an exit at a light. The coffee was horrible. I am not sure how they messed up a white mocha but they did. This is my go-to drink, so I know what it tastes like and have ordered in many cities. Never have I tasted such a burnt flavor. The syrup was settled in the bottom from the first sip-- a hazard of the white mocha, but usually happens after 15 min or so. I have no idea how they made the drink in such a way that it was completely settled at first sip. And you can't really "swirl" until you get some liquid out. Yeah I know - first world problems. This Starbucks very rarely gets any drink order right. They are very slow and one time I had to sit in the drive through for an extra five minutes because they forgot to hand my drink off to me from the counter, so I just had to sit there and wait until a different drink was ready in the drive through for them to realize I was still there. The only reason I gave this review 2 stars is because the staff is so kind. I thought the drink orders were coming out wrong because they were understaffed but now that they have more people on staff, I'm confused as to why their drinks never taste right. I was a certified barista for Starbucks for a year and a half, it seems like there is an issue in the way things are prepped. Teas are bitter, cold brew is watery and the espresso drinks taste like they let shots die. Confused as to why I keep coming back, but I won't from here on out. read more

Very inconsistent with the quality of their drinks. One day I get it lukewarm and almost no flavor and the next it's hot and tastes great. More often than not I end up throwing away over half of my coffee due to lack of flavor.
