I very seldom shop here because their prices are so ridiculously high. I shop the ad once in a while and find a few items that are reasonable, but I find the prices are on average $.50 to $1.00 per item higher than Walmart for the same identical product. read more

Me and my daughters went in there, and the lady that bagged all of our stuff was so sweet and very helpful. But I had some issues with my card so it took me a little longer to check out and the lady that checked me out and another lady that came over to help her were so rude talking about how it's just been a rough day for them because "people like this" keep happening and things like that intentionally making me feel bad. And when I told the lady I was ready to try to check out again because I had fixed my card she was like well we already Deleted everything and acted like it was a big inconvenience for her to scan the receipt again.. so I'm not going back because it's already hard enough shopping with two kids.. I'm not going to be made to feel like how they made me feel. read more

The staff here is very nice and professional. They were able to answer all my questions (I do not go to Starbucks much) and were very helpful. The Medicine Ball drink was so delicious. The staff member who made it for us was so cheerful today and made us smile. Thank you!! read more

This Kroger is consistently terrible, especially with grocery pickup. I understand the worker shortage and the supply shortage. What I cannot understand or have sympathy for is FOOD SAFETY HAZARDS. That is completely unacceptable because it can cause serious illness and death. As a former food safety teacher, I'm extra appalled knowing the risks associated with improper food handling. First, it was that they sat 2 large packs of raw chicken in a bag on top of several items such as bagels, granola bars and cheese and the chicken leaked all over the food causing $40 worth of groceries to be soaked in raw chicken juice. They credited me appropriately but how wasteful! And how scary that if someone didn't know and ate their bagels after that, they could've been gravely ill. Not to mention, I was 7 months pregnant at the time thus posing an extra risk if I hadn't known. And how scary their clerks aren't trained in proper handling! They work at a grocery store! The next offense was today, which has pushed me to the point of never returning to this store for pickup. This was the pepperoni they selected for my order and sent home with me. The point of grocery pickup is to not take my 2 children under 2 into the store, but everytime I do pickup I end up in the store anyway. And once again - TRAIN YOUR FOOD HANDLING EMPLOYEES IN FOOD SAFETY!! This is a BIG DEAL! Yes, I have notified corporate and the store both times. read more

This is my local Kroger and it doesnt get any better than this..... It has grown alot since I moved here 6 years ago. This locations has a florist, pharmacy, wine &spirit, bakery, deli, starbucks and clicklist!!! And best part is the staff is amazing. Today i lost my phone somehow between the checkout line and my car..... the cashier called my cell repeatedly till I finally tracked it down. Its was laying in the parking lot!!! Aside from the super nice staff... this Kroger has a pretty impressive selection of vegan and allergy free foods. Not bad for Lagrange KY!!!! read more

Kroger delivery guy can't follow directions. I pointed to where to put my groceries, looking in that direction, and he confirmed with an ok. But he put the groceries in the opposite side. Maybe he was made because I didn't tip. But I had just stepped out of the shower and was peeking around the corner of the door. But even so, not an excuse for bad service. Was in La Grange today running a few errands and stopped into the local Kroger. As other reviewers have stated, the staff is extremely friendly and willing to help. As it was snowing today, the store was warm and a good change from the outside temperature. The shelves were full of product, the produce was fresh and everyone was working and providing great customer service. The smell of fresh baked goods was great and it caused me to end up spending a couple bucks on a doughnut. We all have our guilty pleasures. Recommend this Kroger to anyone in the La Grange area and the service by the staff is first class. read more

Great Kroger with great staff. Ultra friendly. Always like shopping here. Wish they selection in the deli area was more. Like sushi and cheeses. Wish they had a bigger selection in that Regards. Everything is great except for when the staff are walking around. Some staff members often cut me off when walking around the store, it is very rude and unpleasant. Everything else is good except have separate exit/enter doors, waste of time and doesn't help. read more

MY KROGER! Proud of my store UNTIL the auto check-out lanes were enlarged to now I believe six(6) self-serve lanes, I refuse to use self-checkout anywhere, I understand the shortage of labor and not finding checkers. Yesterday Sunday my wife went shopping picked up some "well advertised & marked" items and of course the auto thing couldn't or wouldn't pick up the discounts on about 4-5 items, she was upset because if you have 4-5 items you used to be able to go through the "under15-items" line but now you have to stand behind someone whom is shopping for a adult-care home with 3-4 baskets of grub or use the auto check-out which she has used in the past. I have never used as I said before the auto-check lanes and will never. I use the pharmacy (knowing the staff) weekly and have for years'. approx. 15 yrs. We are long time customers since the days of when Kroger was across I-71 in the little shopping center. she called the manager over he saw the problems and awarded her a $5 dscount card for the next trip. WalMart fresh produce is disgusting and their helpers are totally lost behind the deli&bakery, I do not use WalMart for anything except standard known packaged products. I will buy my name-brand stuff at WalMart if they have lanes open, I have left a cart couple of times setting at the end of the lane because they didn't have checkers and will start doing the same at Krogers if the auto-checkout lanes are not removed. My refusal to use the check-out lanes is not because I am against cost savings but because of the inability of the scanners to do what a human can. read more
