Came here for a few quick supplies like pre-made salads and candy for Halloween. The salads were a little sad looking especially for not being particularly cheap. It evidently did the job but was a little lack luster. Also got some bags of candy that were upfront and a bag of chips that I didn't need but was strategically placed by checkout. (The only reason this store gets 2 stars is because they have a clothing department) I'd like to highlight a concern I have about the Kroger location I visit. It's in a busy area, and there appears to be a staffing issue when it comes to bagging groceries. On multiple occasions, while the cashier was diligently scanning my items, I noticed there was no one available to assist with bagging. To make matters worse, during a separate visit, a staff member opted to chat with my child instead of helping with the bags. This left me puzzled and somewhat frustrated. As I'm not an employee here and employee should never idly sit by and watch me do their job. I want to emphasize that given the store's busy location, it's essential that there are enough staff members available to handle these tasks. The current situation doesn't seem to align with the store's standards, and for a location that is in up and coming area, with all the new construction around. They need to get it together because when the Publix is built across the street you will lose half of your business. I would definitely rather pay more at Publix.Than be in a nice area but feel like I'm shopping at a Walmart in the middle of no where. read more

I've been a loyal Kroger customer for years. I literally will drive out of my way, past other grocery stores to get to a Kroger. However....This store is likely the dirtiest, most unorganized, unhelpful store of all Kroger's I've been in. I continue to shop there because of fuel points loyalty and the location convenience to my home. I shop here 2-3 days a week. But this place is a disaster. Management is non existent in my opinion. 1 lane open. 4 self checkouts open. 285 people waiting in line, 6-employees standing at the closed registers talking about how many hours somebody got..... Open a register for Pete's sake. PLEASE!! The staff will just stand and watch you wait. This is the year of COVID-19. Store "requires" masks. Except 50% of people don't wear them. Many employees have them pulled down to their chin. Not sure what the clean standard is for a grocery store, but this is below par. The produce department is kinda sketchy. Better double check everything closely before you leave. The self checkouts are nasty. Never ever cleaned. And don t get me even started with the bathrooms! Ok. I got started. The men's room has had broken paper towel machines for nearly a year. So the fix is to leave sopping wet rolls on the counters. Nice. The toilet paper holders are broken. Same deal here. Grab a roll off the floor..... The standing urinals overflow into the floor constantly. So badly, they just leave a "wet floor" tripod on the floor all the time. It's truly disgusting. Some might say, " then don't use the bathroom there." Or "it's a grocery store, not a hospital." This place is so busy all the time. They need to just fix this problem. I've mentioned it to the management for nearly two years. Nothing is ever done. I rate the store a 2-star, because they do have a huge selection of items. Prices are decent when coupled with fuel points. Pharmacy is steady, not stellar. And please, buy some new shopping carts. I currently own a business and I have started and sold two others. Do you know how most businesses go out of business? Poor management. I arrived this morning at 9:30 am and grabbed one of the electric carts as I have a broken ankle. The indicator said it had a full charge. Nope. I made it 10 minutes into the store before it gave up. Under red I pushed the cart back with my boot on. I grabbed another electric cart and started again. I went back to where my first cart died - the meat and fish counter, It was completely empty with three employees doing nothing but hanging out behind the counter. Disappointed I continued my shopping. As I was ready to go I went back to the meat department and inquired about there not being any meat or fish in the display cabinets. The exact answer I received was " we haven't had time". It was one of the three employees still doing nothing and it was now 10:30am. Really? I see no reason to ever come back again. I spent a lot of money at this Kroger if anyone cares. $181.12 If the counter was full it would have been another $100 +. Go to Publix or Ingles as this Kroger's management doesn't care. this place was absolutely amazing. At first, i thought that it was just a regular supermarket, however after walking in, i realized it was not just an ordinary supermarket. This felt like I was in a super store (like the new super targets). It had EVERYTHING You need - from all of your grocery items, to kids toys, bedding, houseware items, clothes and seasonal stuff such as halloween items. i was totally blown away at their prices as well, as everything was quite fairly priced (WITH A KROGERS CARD) - which is free. i bought 3 items (a travel sized item for $1.29, and 2 small items (clothes) and with the card, everything all said and done, saved me nearly $34 (50% off) walking around the food aisles, they had everything...from fresh sushi, to a butcher, made to order bakery, as well as a 'food court' where you can choose from a plethora of food items (all made within the store). They also make amazing boars head sandwiches, as all their meats are provided by Boars Head. Within they also have a starbucks store, with a full array of starbucks items. overall, this place is amazing. definitely have to go back once i have some more time. on a side note...getting a krogers card will also allow you additional savings at the gas pumps (yes, they even have gas here) - i was able to save $0.03 per gallon...though doesn't sound like much, but every penny counts! read more

This is a new Kroger concept that will remind people from the south of a Wal-Mart Supercenter, but since I'm not originally from the south I know that it takes after the Kroger owned, Pacific Northwest chain of Fred Meyer. It's one stop shopping that combines groceries, clothing, pharmacy, gas, jewelry store and sporting goods under one roof. Prices are good and the shopping experience is extremely convenient. Brand new store has tasty sushi station and fresh deli sandwiches along with a make your own salad bar with a variety of fresh olives. It's about time this level of shopping hit northeast Georgia. Way more classy that the aforementioned Supercenter!! Check it out. read more

Kroger with clothing, and jewelry??? I was very glad to see this place really opened. I had heard about it for sometime now so, I finally took my first peek. Very neat and organized same food items and sales as your typical Kroger's. This location doesn't stay opened 24hrs. The different food stations are a plus. Some compare it to Super Wally, but I feel it is a whole lot better. Hope more pop up soon. A one stop shop is my kind of shopping. read more

Make sure you check the dates on your items because the employees here apparently do not. Bought a pack of Kroger brand beef jerky and the expiration date was May 27 2021. It's December 27 2021. This has become a regular occurrence at this location and I should have learned my lesson by now, but typically most customers can assume that the items on the shelves aren't expired. If you end up sick or with food poisoning def keep this place in mind and check the dates. read more

I love this Kroger. It's clean, the staff are helpful and friendly, and you can get pretty much everything you need here, about 5 minutes from my work. If you look around, a lot of the customers are NGHS staff (look for scrubs), and they're repeat customers for a reason. Here's my little anecdote: I purchased about $60 worth of groceries a few days ago, and in my typical absent-minded fashion, forgot to pick up the extra $20 in cash I requested. I was pretty sure I was SOOL, but I went in the next day anyway. I didn't even have a receipt. But the office was able to pull my receipt from my Kroger card, and look at the camera and see I had forgotten my cash. They gave me $20 on the spot. That speaks volumes to me, and it was a good investment on their part. Because they've won a loyal customer: I'm going to put that $20 right back into their cashier. Now, if only I could get them to get their gas Top Tier certified, I could just live at Kroger. :) read more

The shine is wearing off the Apple. Deli workers are all but unapproachable and near impossible to make eye contact with. I've stood in line at the pharmacy so many times only to be told to come back and restand(is that even a word) in line for a prescription I had requested on to be ready on line. I finally had to change to a more proactive pharmacy. Prices are uncompetively high, especially meats. They try to keep it clean but it's an uphill battle. Rest rooms are disgusting. I have to give the staff an A+ for cheerfulness and assistance. It's a high volume store and manager does his best. read more

I'd highly recommend a more efficient pharmacy. If you call I'd say make sure you document the call, but that wouldn't matter! Poorly ran operation. I get that we're in extraordinary times however a simple prescription refill takes up to two weeks. Too many errors to list. Lack of communication between team members, not to mention customers. They don't update you via phone, email, nor text like other pharmacies. Walgreen's will get my tiny bit of money but I'll get a ton of high level customer service. Never an issue there. I'm currently on crutches and able to wear my mask throughout the store, and it says masks are required. Saw more than half of the people in the store without one so it is not being enforced. Also the restroom was a disaster. Do not recommend if you are high risk. read more

I hate coming here the only reason I still do is location. The store is very poorly staffed. I understand the push for self checkout but it's impossible if you have many items. The Gainesville Ga.store is terrible always out of product, runs sale items in ad that they never had in inventory (just to get shoppers to come and buy different product.),never get the items ordered on pickup,employee poorly trained,I placed a pickup order went to pick it up (10 miles) the lady who brought my groceries out said everything was in stock,I got my paperwork and there was more products they were out of than I got ,I got out of my car and went to the back where she was loading my groceries. I said where is my bacon, bread,and ect. She said so many new employees that don't know what their doing(kroger employee). My bill was less than $18.00 .Waste of time and gas. . Don't not use The order online service THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU WHAT YOU ORDER .. I was very sick had my mother in law go pick up my groceries for the week . When she arrived she was informed they were out of a lot of the items on my check list . (Out of curiosity She went in later and found the items that were "not available " it was a mess . And I was very upset .. I called the manager and voiced my concern and he promised me he would call me back .. never heard anything from anyone!! Been over two weeks now .. Stopped by the deli on my way home to pick up a few things, mistake not going to the Kroger near my house! 3 deli workers were very rude. Asked for a certain roast beef and worker commented "ugh calgon take me away". Really!?! Salad bar not fresh either. Lesson learned to never stop here again. read more

Very pleased with this store. Friendly employees and great prices. Have been shopping here for four years and have saved hundreds of dollars on their prices. Originally from Florida and a Publix shopper. Kroger prices are much lower on so many items. We only shop Publix now for the buy one get one sale items. Weekly sale prices are great and the fuel points lead to great savings at the pump. Store is clean and bright with helpful employees. My only complaint would be to not rearrange store items to different locations periodically, this does frustrate customers! read more

In Store is fine, but their online shopping experience is incompetent. We gave them 6 hours, told us to come back 2 hours later. Call ahead the second time to make sure it's ready, spend 20 minutes on the phone with corporate because they can't get hold of the store, they eventually say they don't know. We roll the dice and decide to head back, surely 8 hours is enough right? Arrive on time to find a line of 7 people and there's only 4 spots for online pickup. read more

Last week I was injured which is bad because I am also disabled. My sister got few items from this Kroger. I do not need the items but I don't have the receipt and my sister does not shop at Kroger she shops at Public so she doesn't have a Kroger card. All I want is to exchange the items for something I can use, I don't want $$. The woman working the "customer service" desk and the manager both said since I can't prove the items came from their store. They then followed it up by saying my sister and I probably stole it. Wow, that's a way to get and keep customers accuse them of theft ! ! I would not recommend shopping at this store unless you enjoy being called a thief. read more

First time at this store. Beautiful and well stocked produce, bakery, and meat departments. Starbucks staffed with friendly, helpful baristas. All store employees very helpful and friendly. Store also carries nice collection of home goods and Carhartt clothing. Well worth the 30 minute drive from my home. read more

Giving this Kroger 1 star only because the store is neat and clean and they have a big variety of everything that is needed, but I would give the pharmacy department no stars at all if it was an option. This will be the 3rd time I had a bad experience with them the first 2 time I let it pass but since it is a continuous thing, enough is enough. My 5 month old was sick we left the doctors office at 9:00am and I called Kroger 20 min after to see if my rx was ready they said they never received it so I call my Dr and had them resend it, we went to have lunch while they worked on it, back to Kroger at 10:30 it still wasn't ready they told me 10 more minutes so we went shopping in the store, checked out and went through drive thru and it still wasn't ready so we parked and came back 10 min later. We left Kroger finally at 11:45! Pretty ridiculous to have a customer with a sick child to wait since this morning, they didn't take the initiative to call the Dr or even put it as a waiter, while the staffs just stood there doing their hair and talking!
