Now Open!!! Starbucks, Gas Station, Pharmacy, Clothing, Deli, Grab & Go and.... Groceries! Wide aisles and very open. Another beautiful new location. Looking forward to this being our new, everyday, neighborhood Kroger. Would I go back? Likely more often than I'd like to admit, but yes. Absolutely!!

You can get one of the rude tech's to give you a nonsense answer or accuse you of being a drug addict if you have just come from the Little Clinic. They accused me of getting prescriptions filled at other pharmacies and trying to scam them for a steroid. You filled this somewhere too didn't you!? huh? Poor service all around. The only thing I'm addicted to is farting.

The store was freezing! I'm use to Kroger being too damn cheap to put heat blowers in their entrances. However, are they now choosing to not provide heat inside of their stores. Kroger pays lip service to customer service, but you can tell they have little respect for them by their actions. I have a distaste for senior management that attempt to sell rotten fruit and vegetables instead of culling them out. ( Yankee Road store ) Do not buy their Kroger brand salads. The ribs on the lettuce is packed in the bags. It has no nutritional value and is discarded by reputable salad producers. Also, pay attention to the salads that are supposed to have radicchio, carrots, purple cabbage, etc.... You'll have to use a magnifying glass to locate them. Maybe the reason they don't have the heat on is to extend the shelf life of their fruits and vegetables. Take my advice, shop at Costco who only sells top shelf fruits and vegetables.

If you don't know about Aldi, you need to know. They have many higher end items, for at least a dollar less or more than your regular grocery store. For instance, Simply OJ at Kroger, they have the same thing, bottle and all, without the name brand on it and it tastes EXACTLY the same but is much cheaper. There are top of the line cheeses and meats, quality produce, and many dietary restriction items such as for gluten free etc. My favorite thing is their limited time items that include everything from Italian food, to garden and patio items, even furniture. Wine? Mimosas? Margaritas? Yeah they got that! Bring your own bags and a returnable quarter for the shopping cart... just another way they keep the costs down.

Obviously we've ate out a lot…read morebut since I'm not working right now I thought I should make the effort to try to do more cooking. Someone recommended that I go in here and I am amazed at the difference in the price. The important thing to know about coming here is you need to bring your own way of carrying out the groceries whether it be bags or boxes. Sometimes they will have an area with boxes from the stuff they've been packed that you can take. But I would come prepared with some kind of bags. What's the first thing you need to know is to get a car to need a quarter you stick your quarter in and it releases the lock on your cart and when you put your cart back in you put the chain back and the quarter pops out so you do get your quarterback. Or sometimes I've seen people pay it forward and just hand people there cart obviously forfeiting their quarter. The other thing to know is payment they do not accept credit cards you have to either do cash or debit card. Things here are ridiculously cheap it's a great place to get Frozen things meat cheese can things. Produce is stuff that you really need to use very fast. I'd say either produce his stuff that doesn't last as long as other places so it must be older but if you're going to use it immediately no problem. I got a cart full of groceries including a bunch of meat for $100 that included two packages of chicken two packages of bacon stew meat salmon hamburger it was amazing. If you've never been to an Aldis I would definitely see if there's one in your area and give it a try like I said take a quarter and some kind of bags to carry it and your debit card.

I agree with Matt R--Walmart is Walmart. You will have the typical Walmart experience no matter…read morewhat the location. But the Walmart 1-star experience for me is often due to its customers, not the employees. Walmart is not my go-to when it comes to shopping but I stopped at Walmart today to pick up colored pencils and drawing paper. Do Walmart shoppers know that "shopping cart corrals" are for returning shopping carts? Walmart shoppers are some of the worst for cart abandonment--leaving carts anywhere and everywhere in the lot. Although these shoppers have just walked through a 180,000 square foot store, they will not walk another few feet and put the cart they "borrowed" where it belongs. Instead, they will abandon the cart and leave it with no consideration to others that it may roll into another car or obstruct open parking spaces. No excuses--if it's raining, you will not melt, so return your cart. If you have kids, park closer to a corral. And if parked in the handicap space and have borrowed one of the store's motorized shopping carts, you did have the ability to walk up to the store entrance to borrow it--now ride it back to the store entrance and put it back where you found it. Again, no excuses. Cart abandoners--your mother does not live at the Walmart! Did she not teach you to pick you after yourself? Walmart shoppers also don't seem to know the use of the garbage cans. I walked by a parking space today with dirty diapers discarded on the pavement. Two spaces up--it was discarded with fast food bags and big gulp cups. I stopped and asked the employee collecting carts when leaving, what was the percentage of carts collected from the cart corral compared to the abandoned carts. Percentage of abandoned is close to 75%! Walmart could help with the issue by having more shopping cart corrals--knowing that their customers will not walk more than 3 to 4 cars to return a cart. And yes, cart abandoners, that means there will be fewer parking spaces near the entrance, and you will need to walk a few extra feet. But since according to Forbes magazine, as Americans we live in the #1 most obese country for high-income countries, the few extra steps may have a positive impact. Other option is that Walmart adopt the Aldi way--a quarter will unlock a cart. When you return the cart, you get your quarter back.
