I do exactly as I am told, and call the day before I leave to request a refill, explain what the previous pharmacist said and the person I was on the phone at literally laughed at me and said there was no way they could do that. Well, I googled it and it's called a vacation override. It very much IS possible. I will be taking my prescriptions elsewhere where they actually understand insurance. They also consistently auto refill a script I don't want auto refilled. I have asked them to take it off auto refill twice and they insist it is not on auto refill. When their system calls me to tell me the prescription is ready it says it's on auto refill. Anyway, they clearly have no idea what they are doing there.

He told me if it was important to me to have enough envelopes then I should have checked myself. He didn't seem to think his employees should do their job and actually fulfill an order accurately. He didn't care about wasting a costumer's time to have to come back to the store to pick up more envelopes because his employees made a mistake. He egged me on to file a complaint with corporate and kept shoving his name tag in my face. He walked away from me telling me he didn't care. This guy's name was Tim. Then there was another woman working there at the front counter who was mocking me. This is the kind of people they employee there. I filed a complaint with corporate and they promised the General Manager, Mark, would call me back in two days to address my experience there. I never heard back. As General Manager he is hiring people that can't do their job, that are rude, don't value customer service and he himself doesn't care about following up on a bad experience in his store. This is the last time I will shop at Walgreens. This company really needs to teach employees how to do their jobs and to be nice to their costumers.

Zero urgency, zero accountability, zero effort. Everyone looks miserable and acts like helping customers is a personal inconvenience. It genuinely feels like no one working there wants to be there or cares even slightly. I switched to Walgreens a long time ago for these exact reasons. Unfortunately, my doctor accidentally sent my prescription here because it was still on file. Huge mistake. Walking back into this CVS reminded me exactly why I left. I just assumed after Cigna paid their part the price left for me to pay would be the same regardless of where I got the script filled. I win the moron award for believing that. My latest prescription had me paying $237 after my drug plan paid there share. That was enough to motivate me to shop around. I had CVS and Drug Mart want $237 and the hospital quote $161.00. The winner of this cost comparison was Costco a company I keep finding reasons to love. Their quote was $94. They got the business that day and for all future prescriptions! I'm amazed at how many people don't bother to check around for more favourable pricing on everything. Maybe if things get more expensive people will value their money more and not just give it to some price gougers like CVS & Kroger!
