I came to buy my wife ice cream And UDF eggnog. However, because I was at the ice cream line, Jean was unwilling to service me because she kept saying someone else was supposed to service the ice cream line so she excepted multiple individuals at the checkout line. So when I said, I would like you to check out without ice cream, she did not accept me because I was frustrated and said some words in the background I understand that is protocol but you accept multiple individuals before me was a bit frustrating. Jean repeated she knew the owner and could not be disturbed. So I went to a UDF a few exits past and they didn't throw out who was in line first. Bad customer service. Unfortunately (as on outsider) cincinnatiians love their UDF to much. I'm also a xavier fan which means UDF was a local favorite. Very disappointed in blue ash. Almost they are stuck up. read more

UDF has your back when you want ice cream late at night or whenever you have that craving. The ice cream itself is good, with COOKIES AND CREAM, MINT COOKIES AND CREAM, SEA SALT CARAMEL and CHOCOLATE FUDGE BROWNIE being several of the many standouts in the menu. If you don't want hand dipped ice cream, you can always buy one of the many sizes and flavors of ice cream in their extensive freezer section. This location has a good selection of drinks and snacks as well, but it isn't 24 hours so plan accordingly. Great, friendly employees make this worth a stop. read more

UDC HAS AMAZING ICE CREAM AND UNFORGETTABLE MALT SHAKES. I grew up in Cincinnati so when I come back to the east coast it's nice to have a treat. So many flavors to choose from and there is no other place like this in the word. The also offer snacks, food, gasoline and etc.. the location on Ridge and Montgomery unfortunately has gone under water. I really hope the corporation will review this review and make adjustments accordingly. The cashier with the blonde hair in a ponytail was aggressive and was ready to fight a customer. As, we are standing in line she told us she isn't doing ice cream and she is ready to go home. As a former employee of UDF many years ago I remember being instructed that " your not just a cashier". We had patience and without any help from her we then got a male with a large copper ring on his finger. I asked for a malt and he huffed and puffed about it. I told both of the employees that they are not representing UDF at all and we walked out without our ice cream and malts. We then went to the location in Sillverton next to family dollar and this is where I was taking pics. Even though the customer service is terrible I truly feel with proper coaching the stores can do much better. I am a huge fan of UDF and I would like to revisit with welcoming services. read more

ICE CREAM!! This is a go to spot if you are looking for some ice cream. Their milkshakes and malts are the best. They have lots of flavor and they are always refreshing. Outside of ice cream, you can pretty much get any "convenient store" item here. Easy one stop shop if you are looking to pick up a few items. One downfall would be their gas prices at this location are generally higher than the competitors. So if you stop, just get some ice cream. read more

Never thought I'd really love a gas station, but here we are lol - the employees are what makes this store the best! IDK if it's a policy or if they're really that nice, but every time I'm there, they compliment me, start up a conversation, ask how my day was, interact w/ my toddler - they're really great. It gets pretty busy, so it can be a pain to manuever to the pumps, but eh - it's not that big of a deal. A few weeks ago, I needed Benadryl badly around 9PM, but because of quarantining, Walmart and Kroger were already closed. I called UDF to see if they had any -- they did! He said he'd hold it behind the counter for me. He was so sweet when we got there, told me he hoped I felt better, etc. I went back a few days later - same guy was working and he asked how I felt, did the medicine help, etc. SO NICE! read more

If it wasn't for the quality ice cream UDF has then it would be one star. Waited for 5 minutes before any employees even came out from the back to assist me. Then sat there listening to the employees say F this and F that as they made a shake. Not a huge deal but definitely annoying. read more

The customer service here is excellent. The one clerk began to make me a low fat milk shake with the fattening kind of milk.When I pointed this out to Doug he had him make me a second milk shake with fat free milk for free. Doug paid for it himself. This place is clean and the clerks are very good at customer service. read more

Pretty decent UDF location, but fairly small. Only a few pumps for fuel. The coffee area is not very welcoming but they do have seasonal coffee and/or creamers as most locations have. The staff members were pleasant but only when spoken to. They offer a rewards program where you can purchase certain items and receive discounts on gas, I did have to stop the cashier to scan my rewards card before closing out the sale ( you would think they would ask - shrugs). Pretty good UDF that sometimes gets busy but overall not too bad. Staff is always very nice but the inside could use an update soon.

Right off - the gas pumps are located in a terrible location. They could have put them off to the side and used that space for more parking. I stop here before grocery trips on the weekend and get my kids an ice cream or shake to keep them busy while I tale care of business shopping. There is a rude cashier whom os selective on the customers she is nice to but oh well, she can be unhappy on her own. The store is always clean and well stocked. The only issue I can complain about but is a big issue, is the gas pumps and limited parking. read more

I have been buying eggs from UDF for several years. Today, I opened the carton and read one of my favorite Bible verses-"This is the Day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it." Just wondering if anyone else has read the carton? Was wondering if this practice was started by Mr. Lindner over 60 years ago? Thank you for reminding me that today is a Day to be thankful for and hope this might reach those who may not have that assurance. read more
