I'm not even close to a fan of this location. I've lived nearby for six years and can honestly say there are more unfavorable than favorable times here. Lately, it seems that at peak times there are less cashiers than ever and the lines are unbearably long. Add to that questionable quality and availability and it's a mix for a frustrating time for all. Luckily a new location has opened up about 7 miles away and while it's a drive, it's a much better option and one that I'll be using until further notice NOT.A.WINNER. read more

Pretty upset week let alone this Kroger location, making it worse. Not only today but during the multiple times I've visited this Kroger, there are a few to no lanes to pay. The self check out lines are at both ends of the store but only one end is open. Even at that, there are only 4 self check out stations, whereas HEB has six. The staff have never been helpful in providing customer service when a price discrepancy occurs. I usually just give up on using their digital coupons on their mobile app because they don't scan in. I understand post Hurricane Harvey days are tough and people are dealing with its aftermath so the limitation on purchasing items in multiple quantities is reasonable. This is clearly stated on the front page of their flyer. But what is not acceptable is the price gouging and the audacity to say they do not have any flyers in store, online, in app. I have one right on hand because I received it via postal mail and it states the flyer is valid from Aug 30 to Sept 5 (see my photo for this review). Several of their food items in store do not list the sale price but instead regular price or higher than most other grocery stores. Calling them out on it did not help the situation in store. The staff person I spoke to called other personnel to check on the prices and he only told me that they cannot honor their ad. I will try again at another Kroger but if this repeats itself one more time I will know to stop patronizing Kroger and needless to say I will be reporting to the Attorney General. Not a smart move to hurt your customers after a natural disaster! read more

I used to buy my gas here using Kroger fuel points, but I had to stop because for some reason their card readers stopped working with my debit card. I replaced the card but it still did not work even after speaking to the bank. After I experienced this issue, I had to start getting fuel elsewhere. I had been buying gas at Kroger for years. read more

This place tends to have either the least expensive gas or is close enough. Make sure you have Gasbuddy ready. If you don't have Gasbuddy, rest assured the prices here are always pretty competitive. read more

This store's customer service has been declining and I hardly ever shop here and today I was reminded why. They usually have only 1-2 checkout lanes open, and the rest are self check-outs. The cashiers are not friendly at all, and wont even verbalize the cost of your order, they just stand there with a blank face waiting for you to pay. Covid does not give these establishments an excuse to be rude. I dont know who has trained these people? They need more customer service skills and actually speak!! read more

I went in to the store in on Saturday June 24,. 2017 in Sienna Plantation to ask seafood market if shrimp were fresh,. he replied yes everything is fresh, so I buy a pound and a half of jumbo shrimp $9.00 per pound. Got home opened the bag of shrimp they smell dead, gross, and disgusting. So now my time and gas will drive back up to Kroger for a refund and vow never to buy meat or seafood at that location ever again. HEB here I come for fresh seafood from now on. Kroger usually has the best gas prices in the area. Get a Kroger card if you want 3 cents off your gas on top of the low price. Kroger is good for a long grocery list or just to zip in and out for a few items. They have a large selection of ethnic foods. I really like the fact that they carry foreign foods because I can cook exotic recipes when I feel like it and they have the ingredients I need all in one spot. They're usually the only store that carries the good Chinese duck sauce and they're the cheapest with the Caribbean spices and British items. Depending on what time you go, you can get deep price reductions on meat and produce. If you're dropping in to get a last minute steak to cook immediately, you might be very lucky to get different cuts of steaks for a really low price. Bananas, cucumbers and broccoli are items I tend to get here because they are cheaper than anywhere else. Also, if you're a senior citizen with a Kroger card they give senior discounts sometimes automatically on the card. My older relatives love that! read more

I used to love this Kroger, but I dread even going there anymore simply, because of one of their pharmacy techs. This lady goes out of her way to make something out of nothing, and I t hasn't been the first time that she's been rude either. I'm switching the pharmacy that I go to ASAP. I'd rather pay a few more cents for better service, rather than feel unwelcome. read more

Decent prices on gas but over priced on groceries, HEB and Wal-Mart works better for me. This store does have a lot of items though.

It's hit or miss here. One day they are good next day you don't know what you getting. 50% of the time I leave unhappy!! Customer service (Denise) needs to know what she can and can't do. That's not good for business. Ms. Porter is no better. I witnessed her not even checking on an amount when she said she would. Like who does business like that. I'd drive further from my home to another Kroger's not to shop at this one. They don't deserve my money or business. read more

Never know what to expect when coming here...the usual problem is lack of check out lanes open. On occasion (like today) they didn't even have shopping baskets available, they were all in the parking lot. Good store for quick trips and cheap gas but don't recommend for regular shopping. read more

I really like this Kroger. It is well-stocked and food is always fresh. Cashiers are cheerful and work hard to make sure you walk out with everything you planned. Good deals on digital coupons. The web service is outstanding for keeping your popular choices listed. Senior discount is no longer available, but Kroger offered it way longer that most others and I really benefited.
