They also had ready to eat items, stuffed cabbage (as my family calls pigs in the blanket), ribs, mac and cheese. Oh, I almost forgot, egg salad, chicken salad, tuna salad. For some reason going in Chief's feels like stopping by to see a family friend or something. Since this covid uncertainty it is always assuring to smell the fresh popped popcorn when entering, then the smell of fruits, baked chicken, bakery items to name but a few. I so believe they have yummy smell scents piped throughout the store. Their meats are above average and I am picky when it comes to meat. From presentation to prices, Chief's is the place to go. They are offering mobile shopping now, however I have not used it since we enjoy going in and shopping. I find the pricing to be hit or miss, but I can pretty much get all of what I need for a weeks worth of cooking here without having to go anywhere else. I wouldn't come here for everyday things such as TP or dish detergent, but for veggies and organic goods this is it.

Several times they drove my mother and her groceries home, even though it meant getting a milk crate so she could safely get into and out of the truck. On one occasion he lifted her out of the truck. I'm sure it was no problem because she was small and weighed less than a side of beef. That was a favorite story that she would tell and retell to anyone who would listen. That's when in a cold response he said the store has the right to limit quantities. I said who the purchase was for and since my cart was already loaded if I could purchase what I had. He answered with a stern NO. The young man at the register said he would put the cereal back. I don't think it would bother if they would post a sign on limits, they do for eggs. My I add I did not deplete their quantity on the shelve. My warning to you is if your going to purchase a large quantity you better check first.
