They were priced at 109.00 on the shelf and I asked for a price match. The large stature gentleman with a beard standing behind the checkout immediately told the cashier and me that he doesn't care what the website says, we don't price match, not even if it's our own web price online. He was a bit aggressive, so I took my business somewhere else. He then says I will take 10 dollars off. No thank you, it's cheaper on Amazon but I didn't want to wait. Waste of gas and time. I guess I will call him next time we go shopping and ask him to check the price on items I plan on shopping for before I head there. Make sure he can confirm the price advertised matches the price marked at the store. It's experiences like this and attitudes like he put off that make people want to shop online rather than retail stores. If you don't want to deal with someone asking a simple question, find another job. This guy was the manager, great employee role model to your employees.

Although I haven't been to many agritourism events like this for several years, I was impressed with the organization and scale of the Stevens' operation -- big enough to have something for everyone, but not so big that you felt overwhelmed by crowds. Also appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. Had a nice conversation with a member of the Stevens family who gave us some history of the event and took our family picture at the end of the hayride. It was worth an hour drive for us.
