I really wanted to see what the hype was about this place. I am a foodie and drive hours to eat in highly recommended places. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated quickly. Staff is friendly and the space is pretty big and has pleanty of seating. The only issue is the wait. I wouldn't come here starving.we waited a half hour for chicken and waffles, kids pancake meal, the game changer burger and the cheesesteak sandwich . I was personally hoping to see steak and eggs on the menu . My favorite thing was the fried chicken with the honey spicy sauce. My kids really enjoyed this place. We will be back . The breakfast menu was simple but offered a delectable choice for anyone. I had the chicken breast and waffle and my hub had Eggs, home fries turkey sausage and pancake platter. Presentation was on point, everything looked amazing. The service was attentive, although I didn't get my coffee warmed up after I was asked and replied yes. But it wasn't a huge deal to me so 5 stars is deserving. The overall atmosphere and music was a vibe! I would definitely recommend and I would go back if in the area. read more

Went here for an early breakfast. Place gets busy fast. Got seated and ordered coffees. No blue/yellow/pink packets at the table. Maybe you can ask for it. I carry my own. Choices are small but seem fine. The food was ok. Not great but not bad. They put their potatoes in a small fryer basket. Maybe they saw it on TikTok or something to make their food "cute". It's hard to eat out of so you just dump it on your plate anyway. And I got scrapple and it was the smallest piece I've ever seen. I had four different servers come to the table so I don't know who my actual server was or who I would be tipping. The issue is really the run of the place. It's weird and bothersome. The coffees and specialty drinks are made in the back of the seating area separate from the food. There was one server who I believe is daughter/related to the owner (kinda looks like her) who would stand at the pass on her phone most of the time. She would see the host up front busy and customers walk in and just go back to her phone. Then she would yell for coffee orders to the back. "Iced coffee aisle 4" or whatever. Numerous of times. So if you are trying to have a peaceful breakfast to talk to someone it will be broken up by weird yelling. Maybe they need a new system or something but this isn't it. Been here a few times. Food is good and has a twist on popular dishes, but the service straight up sucks. There is possibly one server that does a great job, but you'd be lucky to get her. The rest kind of don't care. I agree with other reviews here about servers' attitude. One thing I dislike that has happened here multiple times is when they serve your beverages and when they overfill or overflow, they don't wipe it don't and you get it all over your hands and table. One time we went there, one of us ordered one of their breakfast bowls and it was very good... the problem? When we get to the bottom of the plate, the plate still had the sticker from when they purchased the plate. I mean that sticker they put in the plate from the manufacturer saying the brand and product details! So, in other words, the plate was never washed before putting the food in. I couldn't help to wonder how many hands touched that plate from the store shelf to the kitchen as Krumbs Cafe and we were eating from it. A lady that seemed to be a manager or the owner apologized, but followed up with "but the plate was washed". I said "why would they leave the sticker on? How does the person putting the plates to wash does not see this, but furthermore, how does the cook not see it? That is in direct contact with the food". She apologized again but still said the plate was washed. The sticker did not look like it had been through water just the grease from the food we ate. Needless to say, no accountability was expected if they were justifying it to have been cleaned. I gave it one more chance after the plate incident and the attitude from the servers was persistent, so we stopped going there. My recommendation? You have a pretty neat menu and the location/ambiance is good as well. However, servers need to improve their behavior when dealing with guests. If the service was better I'd give it a 5-star review. Nothing worst than going to a place for the food experience and leaving feeling like you disrupted their whole day just because you walked in to get a decent meal. read more

I work as a server at a breakfast/lunch restaurant, so I understand that larger parties can take a bit longer. We came in as a group of six, and while I expected some wait time, we waited about 40 minutes for our food even though the restaurant was not busy. The food itself was great--especially the pancakes. Compliments to the kitchen staff. However, the service could use some improvement. When our food was dropped off, no one checked in afterward, and the staff member (she was in the bigger side) who delivered it walked away before we could ask for anything else. It took some time to get someone's attention. I was missing a sauce I had requested, and when I asked for it, the response was very short and came across as rude. I did receive the sauce. Our actual server, who took our order, was very sweet and later noticed I hadn't received it earlier, though by then I already had one. At the end, we were told the bill could only be split three ways and could not be split per meal, which caused confusion and resulted in us paying more than expected per person. Overall, the food was excellent, but the service could improve with more frequent table check-ins, clearer communication about billing, and additional training for staff on being welcoming--such as smiling, maintaining a friendly attitude, and making guests feel acknowledged. read more

Upon arrival off the bat bigger set lady in all black was on her phone and had just stared at us when me and my friend walked in, she then proceeded to ask if we were picking up or eating in with a attitude and tone in her voice, straight off gave rude annoyed vibes for what reason! After she had told us to sit wherever while on her phone typing away it seems lol and we did, she then so slightly threw the menus and silver on the table and walked away saying nothing. We had sat there for a good 8 minutes waiting while she was busy talking to everyone else in the sweetest joyful tone, i don't know if it's just me and if i did something to this unknown lady or if she was having a bad day but customer service should always be a number 1 thing in restaurants! We were never asked if we were ready , were ready for any drinks, nothing! Now i wouldn't have a problem if it was busy, but mind you there were only 3 other people in there and they already had there food, she was attending what i assume are her "regulars" before us yet we were already waiting. I went here based on recommendations from a Facebbook group. The service is inattentive. The food was ok. Had a fried chicken and french toast dish. The cut of chicken barely had any meat, but the spicy honey sauce they served with it was tastey. My girlfriend had a sandwhich that looked good. We sat down at the end of the morning rush at around noon. It took about 5 minutes to talk to a server, which I understand when it's somewhat busy. I was surprised to find that she couldn't take our drink order, only food. So we ordered the food and waited for the drink person to come around. She served groups that came in after us and we sat there for several minutes without drinks. I found that whole process to be inefficient and just odd. After getting the food and drinks, it took awhile for anyone to come check on us. At this point it was no longer busy. It took way too long to get our check because we were straight up being ignored. We spent an hour and 30 minutes in total there, mainly due to the inattentiveness of the wait staff. Came in this past Sunday for some breakfast. Never been here since it opened. We waited almost an hour for 2 omelettes. It did look pretty busy but over the course of an hour, more and more people were leaving and our quick breakfast meal took longer and longer. What bothers me the most is the fact that the blond haired waitress never said sorry once or even acknowledged the lengthy wait time even when I asked if our order was ever put through. That was the first time in my life I walked out without leaving a tip. Not one apology or anything. The omelette was fine but we're obviously not coming back and risking the wait time or having that waitress who doesn't care again. Heard about this new place recently and I was in the area so I had to try it out. When you walk in the setup of the restaurant is wonderful! You can see the open kitchen to your left right when you walk in so you know that your food is fresh and made to order. Went pretty early for breakfast so there was plenty of seating but the place does fill up quickly. Fun art and neon lights on the walls so the place is very inviting. Ordered breakfast so I had the Big Papi which consisted of eggs to order, a choice of meat, toast and pancakes. Nothing bad to say about it at all. Also ordered the Bella's favorite. My oh my was it good. A perfect mixture of sweet and savory. Eggs and cheese on a glazed donut, topped with a glazed donut?! Very indulgent but also worth it! Ordered some strawberry and whipped cream topped pancakes, good! My only negative about the place is when it gets busy, between the wave of people coming in and the online/doordash orders, service becomes less frequent and they almost forget to stop by your table every once in a while. I have been dying to try Krumbs for a while now and finally had the opportunity. We started with a round of hot chocolates, I opted for the peppermint. I was super surprised to see special little star marshmallows AND what seemed to be a white chocolate peppermint stick ( whatever it was, I ate it and it was delicious). One of my nephews asked if he could have the French toast board that he saw on the specials the week before. They were able to make it for him and he was so excited. It was HUGE and he loved it. My other nephew got a waffle with Nutella, m and ms, and chocolate chips. It was straight out of the movie ELF, and looked amazing. My friend and I got the country breakfast bowl special which was a buttermilk biscuit topped with sausage gravy surrounded by home fries with peppers and onions, topped with cheese and two eggs. Fantastic! My husband got the cookies and cream donut French toast. It was basically dessert, but if you have to realize that when ordering donut French toast. It was phenomenal. I saw a lot of reviews complaining about the music, but it must be a generational complaint because they were playing all the R and B hits from when I was in middle school and high school and if I opened my own restaurant I'd do the same. We are in town for a wedding tonight and Yelp led us to this amazing little brunch spot! I'm so sorry we devoured everything before I could snap a pic! We both had 'The Big Papi' (eggs, home fries, toast, meat, pancake) I added chocolate chips to my pancake...omg so fluffy! OH...and the home fries were these little cubes of deep fried seasoned heaven. Nice big cuppa tea for me, but they also had fun coffees and hot chocolates. To be honest, Krumb's is definitely down to earth. The wait staff is friendly, but not the sickening sweet just to get tips. This is my absolute go to for breakfast on a Sunday with friends and family. The food is pretty good, I can't say that I've ever had a bad breakfast or lunch here. I haven't been here consistently enough to get recognized as a regular, but a couple people I've gone with definitely have. Sunday's from my experience are packed. This has to also be one of the few places that for some reason always gets my bacon perfect. Anyway, if you are ever in Vineland, NJ, please don't miss this for a great breakfast. read more

Excellent spot for breakfast or brunch in the heart of Vineland. You know you are walking into something good when you see people happily waiting for their turn to be seated (no reservations.) The menu is both familiar and creative, with staples to the breakfast game having some unique flare & twists. I personally ordered a hot honey chicken and waffle sandwich, and it delivered!! All the desires of sweet, savory, and spicy were met. Options are all reasonably priced, and the menu has variety for the meat lovers and vegetarians alike. It was really cool inside too - definitely has the potential of being a trendy scene. Cool neon sign that would be perfect for instagram stories, and they have a cute polaroid picture booth right when you walk in. Been hearing good things about this restaurant for a bit now. Decided on a late breakfast to finally check it out for myself. The menu was pleasingly small compared to the many dinners near me that have way too many choices. I saw reviews about service being poor. Did not experience this at all. The staff were friendly and attentive to the two of us. The important part, the food. I ordered the Game Changer(2 eggs over easy, bacon, Gruyère cheese, arugula, and Sriracha served on a soft round roll. This was well balanced and delicious. My daughter had the Belgium Waffles with Strawberries and bananas. It came out with plenty of fresh fruit piled on top. After seeing the lunch menu I will be coming back soon. read more

Highly impressed by this little breakfast and lunch spot. Good atmosphere, good food, and friendly staff. Fun fact, the straws and cutlery are all biodegradable and ocean safe. Rarely do I leave a review but when given an attitude for no reason, that will do it. I have gone here a couple times and 2 times the person on the phone was rude. I called the 1st time to order and the person obviously did not want to be working that day so I just hung up. I called in the 2nd time because I had found hair in my food. Usually, I would leave it, but it was upsetting I lost my appetite and paid a decent amount for the 1 meal. The 1st person I talked too was super nice about it and even understood why I called. She said she was going to grab the manager, so the owners daughter Brianna hopped on the phone with an attitude (sounded like the same girl from the 1st times). Once I explained, she said " That's hard to believe" initiating that I was lying. I honestly would not be writing this right now and would have continued to go back there because they do have great food. If that was solved in a professional manner but after questioning me. I am good. I have worked in customer service long enough to know that is not how you handle a situation like that. I'm not sure if this is a family operating place, but our server Briana in addition of being super rude, She also had her food plate next to where all customers plates were coming out of the kitchen and she would stop to eat a bite and chow on top of all the customers plates. I was so excited to try this place after seeing it on social media. My husband and I decided to visit Vineland and start our day at Krumbs Cafe. As you enter you're "greeted" by a hostess who does not want to be there. I said "good morning" of course happy and with a smile. She replied with " 2 " and grabbed two menus, she turned her back and walked to a table she put the menus down and just walked away. No communication at all! We sat down and my husband pointed at the pancakes which I turned and look and they looked so fluffy and soft. I told him I was going to order that along with a "healthy" option. Our server was nice. She took the order and I thought she was very polite. He got the chicken and waffles- TERRIBLE!!!! Chicken was old and burnt. We got a butter knife to cut the chicken. The entire table moves ask he tried to cut it. Waffle was soggy and tasteless. Herb butter tasted like garlic alone. I got the avocado toast. Bread was not even toasted nor was I asked if I wanted it to be. It was a piece of bread with arugula and sliced avocado on top. That's it. Little everything bagel and pepper flakes for seasoning on top. Bland. I left that alone. I was very excited for the pancakes because they looked gorgeous. I went to cut a piece to try before cutting the stack. I could not. Tasted like cardboard. I asked for blueberry pancakes. They placed 5-6 blueberries in the middle of the pancakes. The first pancakes had maybe 3. I would usually take leftover for my kids but I could never give them this. Place did look very nice. The pink was cute but place is over hyped. Will not go back. This is what was brought to me, I'm usually not picky on little things but being born and raised in the tri state area even better New york i expected better out of a breakfast spot with as much hype surrounding the younger crowd as this spot. Especially being referred here. Anyways, we ordered and received our food in untimely fashion, and when it arrived i had to put my sandwich together myself versus the traditional easy as can be recipe that bacon egg and cheese sandwiches usually entail. The roll was hard and has a old consistency to it. To make a long story short, this was a Terrible experience for something i could have had prepped better for $4.50 at any deli in new york. Waiters had to be waved down after being initially seated as well.
