We ate breakfast there this morning it was decent we both had 2 eggs, 2 slices french toast, 2 bacon and 2 sausage for for $27.04 . The server was good she kept coming back to check on us. The place is nice inside I don't know what it was like before but I liked the colors the lighting was good my only complaint is the booths are a little tight but that's as much my fault for being heavy.

There is nothing else like the Charlesworth in the area - from the view to the food to the service…read more I grew up close by and have childhood memories of the Charlesworth being the "fancy" local restaurant. The current owners, who I think are a brother & sister duo who took over a few years ago, have done so much to elevate the overall dining experience, especially the food. They are breaking out of the typical local model with the food, offering items like tuna tartare, grilled octopus and goat cheese crostini. I really appreciate that effort. More traditional dishes are still on offer though, like seafood platter, steak, clams & linguine, etc. I dine here once or twice a year when in town to visit my family, and each time it gets better! On our last visit, our entire party was pleased with their selections with standouts being the tuna tartare, fried flounder and the incredible desserts (banana pudding pie and key lime pie.) The desserts as well as a wide selection of drinks are all made in house and it shows. We brought our own beer & wine - I think Fortescue is a dry town. I'm not sure why there is resistance to a place like The Charlesworth serving their customers with wine & beer ‍ The Charlesworth is not an everyday dining spot due to the pricing, but I understand how expensive it is to run a nice restaurant with these offerings in an area like Downe Township, so I think the cost is justified for a special meal. It's cute that they give you a tray of old costume rings to sift through and select one to take home. The rings are fast becoming a fun tradition for our family - the kids love it! The service is warm and friendly which makes the overall experience that much better. Definitely give the Charlesworth a try!

At A-Pot, you're not only getting the usual options of meat, veggies, and seafood for your hot pot and grill-- you're also hooked up with a variety of sushi, sashimi, and deep fried food to fill up your plates with. I liked that their sauce bar is filled with ample options of sauces to mix and match whatever suits your tastebud's needs for the day/occasion. For our group, we loved the house special sauce to go with the grilled meat. What also wowed me was that they had a fridge filled with delicious milk tea/iced teas that you can take as part of your meal. I loved the Thai tea-looking drink as well as the passion fruit tea. Some people in our group also had taro and loved it. As for dessert, I love that they have a buffet section dedicated for sweets as well as a fridge full of single-serving ice cream cups. Of all the flavors, I tried their coffee ice cream and it was really good. Since our group was one of the first to dine there for the day, food was still pretty fresh when we arrive. The interior is spacious and designed like a typical buffet, so I guess there isn't much to write home about for ambience. Service was pretty ok, but we had to flag down the servers to change our grill pans and refill our hot pot broth every once in a while. Overall, I'd say you get the bang for your buck here. I would love to go there again.

Prices reasonable and only $0.99 for soft drinks! For was decent. I wish they had an upgrade to Waygu meats for higher quality but they didn't. Be prepared for at least two hours as you have to cook your own food. The service could be better. The waitresses were congregating together and talking and not paying attention to their customers. Their English is not so good and their menu needs to be properly translated as there were grammar mistakes. They should hire a professional to translate. Nevertheless the place has good food, good prices and I will definitely be back!

We start with grilled shrimps. They are different from any grilled shrimps we have had, and they are delicious. Then we have lobster mac n cheese, mix seafood tajin, and Seven Seas Steam Combo for the 3 of us. Everything's tastes amazing and fresh. Service is great and friendly. Don't be afraid of the pricing. We probably only need 2 entrees, as the serving size is huge! If you share the entrees, it really isn't that expensive, esp. for great seafood. We don't have room for dessert, but as we head out, we can see the dessert display and regret not getting something. The cakes look great.

This time, I confirmed with the waitress how it would be prepared, but what came out was completely different, filleted with a tomato based sauce, peppers, and onions. I told them that was not what we discussed and made it clear I'm allergic to tomatoes. I was told it wouldn't be a problem to make the fish I actually requested. Instead of remaking the dish, they took the same fish back, removed the toppings, left the tomato residue and brought it back out with the same side; including cold rice. After I clearly stated an allergy, serving the same fish with the tomato residue is unacceptable. This was careless and disappointing. If a customer mentions a food allergy, the dish should be remade, not modified and sent back out.
