I waited to be contacted by someone from Krystals before posting this. The food was better than the last couple of Krystals we have visited. The restaurant was clean. The issue was....one of the people working there went to the restroom and DIDN'T wash their hands AT ALL before returning to work. I made sure to get the name of the person involved as to make sure the correct person was contacted by management. No one from Krystals has contacted me....more than 24 hours later....so it must not be a priority. read more

Definitely not 24 hrs, misleading and needs to be changed. Multiple times came here and it was not 24 hrs on many different days. Put in an online order and was told it was ready for pickup.. only to come to the restauraunt closed... went in when they were opened in the morning to request refund since their site has nothing really to help with that besides putting in an email for feedback... was told to call their number.. only their number was automated and also didn't help at all for requesting refund. Literally had to call bank to request our money back. Inaccurate system going on here, too many work arounds to get a refund for incomplete service (wouldn't even just make our order we never got to pick up since they were closed the time we placed our order online, when apparently they're labeled as "24 hours".) Would like to make a suggestion to the managers or owners to spend some time in your store with your employees. Because while it is the responsibility of the employees to make a clean store and quality food for customers it is overall your job to see that your employees are rising to meet that standard and keep customers wanting to come back again. I dropped in to get my husband a quick breakfast while I was running errands and get the 3 egg breakfast... I didn't wait long for her to take my order but I wasn't acknowledged wben I walked in the door. I was greeted with...do you know what you want? A guy walked up and was NEVER acknowledged, eventually he walked away. Got home and the grits were runny, like water..like soup...very disappointing Returned and they already knew it was runny and they are not warning ppl in order to give them a choice. Best customer service and of course the food was delicious. We live in San Antonio, TX but are originally from GA. We had the unfortunate experience of having to drive home to attend a home going service for our sweet sister, Latorya. On the way back to San Antonio, this Krystal's was on our stopping point. Everyone was very nice and willing to help. Facilities were very clean, we ate in and took a party pack, chilly cheese pups to go for dinner at home. Thanks Krystal's... I usually love Krystal, and have for many years, but it's a shame that this location is so bad. Their service is so slow... usually takes 20-30 minutes in drive-thru. Once you finally get your order, it's not what you ordered to begin with (something not added or taken off, or missing cheese entirely, or just missing something altogether). This time the Krystals weren't as my husband ordered, the pups were so rubbery (like microwaved), and the fries tasted of old oil, and were cold... after we'd waited for 30 minutes! Customer service was not very good either. No hello, thank you, or sorry for your wait...was ever uttered. I'm sorry... I know there are bad nights and they may have lacked an employee, but this happens every time we go. This was the last time though for us. read more

Incredibly rude. We left. We drove up in the drive-thru, which was empty, to place our order. We politely let them know we would have a "big order". I personally don't think ordering for a family of four is a big order, but since we don't have a Krystal's by our home and made a detour to patron this one, we also knew we were ordering multiple things so the kids could have a variety. The gentleman taking the order was rude from the start. He proceeded to interrupt up my husband and rudely mumble "does that complete your order?" after everything we ordered. This was of course he told us they were out of the first three things we inquired about. The icees (which there was an unclear note on menu so we were confirming) shakes/ice cream, and hot dogs were all out. So, we quickly adjusted and he kept cutting us off and immediately saying "does that complete your order" and then loudly breathing into the speaker in frustration after we said, no we have more to order. Over and over again -after four combos. I finally had enough and told husband to just leave and I said, you're being rude and we are leaving. He proceeded to laugh loudly as we left. Very unprofessional and slow and said they did not care, was not their problem! I put in an order online of almost $60. I ordered around 1:40 and it said my order will be ready by 2 pm. Upon finally getting to the restaurant I had to go through the drive thru because my 3 year old grandson was asleep in the car, before I could say what I was there for the employee proceeded to tell me it was a 30-45 minute wait, I said I was just there to pick up my order and everything is paid for. He said oh ok and pulled up my order then proceeded to tell me that their shake machine was down and I couldn't get my shoes so I will be refunded. I waited in the drive thru another 30 minutes with two c vehicles in front of me that never moved. I finally got out of the line to go inside to get my order. When I walked in I was ignored so I had to say excuse me, a lady responded yeah? I said I ordered online about an hour ago and still do not have my order she got loud and ignorant with me and said well we only have one grill so you're gonna have to wait I said then have me a refund because I have waited an hour for burgers which I still do not have and I have five people to feed. Her coworker which was a young man proceeded to go to the register and she stopped him and said no her order was online and that has nothing to do with me, she told me to go online and request a refund I went online and said there is no place on here that says anything about a refund she says well that's your problem not mine now get out! Located inside of the Kangaroo Express gas station, Krystal serves up excellent sliders. Normally I don't equate gas stations with decent food, but this place is different. The Krystal is attached to the station, but has its own drive through. The menu is typical burger joint, but instead of full sized burgers, they focus on small sliders. These mini hamburgers are perfect driving food. They come in their own box, and are small enough to eat in a few bites. The only problem is that they benefit from ketchup and that is difficult to add while driving. Another good item on their menu is chili cheese fries. These are quite tasty, but also difficult to manage while heading down I-10. Service was very friendly and prompt. In fact, the cashier seemed to truly enjoy providing excellent service, which was a nice touch. I will definitely keep this place in mind next time I am in the area. Note: Because they are so small, you may want to eat a bunch. I have no idea what the recommended slider/person figure is, but 3-6 seems about right. read more

Rock 'n roll, apple pie, mom and a sack full of Krystal burgers. You can't get any more all American than that. Whether prepared normally with onions, mustard and pickle, or added cheese, there's no way you can eat just one. Shared with a Kangaroo Express gas station, this location is open 24/7. They have a breakfast menu if for some reason you would rather eggs and bacon instead of a slider at 7am. The staff here can be a little slow some times and at other times thery're on the ball. Either way, they are always pretty polite and take your order right away. read more

This isn't my favorite Krystal. The buns on the burgers are always soggy with grease. So gross. I normally get the 5 for $5. With it I get fries and always pay extra to add chili and cheese. On the last day I went I was told it was not possible to get chili cheese fries as part of the $5 for 5. Well duh. I will pay extra just like every other time I have come here. Nope! Stayed because I wanted to see how long it would actually take. I am not lying when I told you I got into line at 4:55 and I left at 5:35. Only 4 cars ahead of me. Wouldn't take my order at the box, and no one was at the window. So I drove around. Lady opens the door and says, "Yea?" I asked if the computers were down and she just said "no." And stared at me. I've been in love with Krystal's ever since a drunken infused hunger binge back in my Pensacola college years ('87 for those counting at home). Little steamed onion burgers by the sack ful rule! The chili pups are awesome as well... Recently had the chicken Krystal and I love it! My next visit I will try that breakfast in a cup looking shite. We stopped in on Aug 25th around 6 pm. We're typically not one's to stop at fast food places, but we opted for a quick dinner from here on our way home. We walked in and the little cashier girl was super snooty and asked if we knew what we wanted. We said no because we just walked in, so she immediately looked to the person next to us and asked him the same thing. No, "Welcome, can I help you?", nothing. So, naturally the service sucked and she should probably just stay in the back if not fired. When she brought the tray of food to tge table she just slammed the tray down, and walked away when i told her thank you, with no respone. Im a manager for our hotel and I'd fire someone on the spot for customer service like that. Fast food restaurant or not, have a little pride and represent the establishment you chose to be employed with. As for the food, it was decent. Man I have not had Krytal since for ever. As we were driving back to Houston, my boyfriend kept seeing the sign for Krystal and had to stop. We decided to get two each just for nostalgia sake. I had the original and he has his with cheese. At time when we stopped I realized that we were in time for happy hour.The original Krystal was 59 cents. This was a nice quick road trip snack. Horrible service. Waited at the counter 6 minutes and were never even acknowledged before even being helped and we were the only ones there. There were no lids at the drink machine so I went back to the counter where one employee was now on the phone and the drive thru employee with his hands on his hips looked straight at me then turned around and walked away. We had to listen to them chatting amongst themselves and argue about orders and the next shift coming in.
