We had a couple of heavy things we needed to get rid of, including an old TV cabinet that I couldn't give away, due to it being an older style that had room only for a smaller TV. I called KT Cleanouts to ask what the charge would be and whether the company tries to recycle items it picks up, finding thrift stores, etc. for usable pieces. The representative on the phone gave me a price for picking up the items and said the owner and his assistant would come between 10 and 10:30 a.m. on a Thursday morning. That morning, Bob called at 9:15, apologizing and saying that he was running late and would 11 a.m. still be OK? I said that time worked, and he and his assistant arrived exactly at 11 a.m. I hugely appreciated the heads up on being late and the fact that they were there when they said they would be. I also appreciated that I didn't have to wait around for several hours and that the window of when they would arrive was a half-hour window. When they got to us, they were exceptionally polite and got everything onto the truck pretty quickly. The charge was exactly as quoted. Bob was very honest and said that they would have to throw away the cabinet, since absolutely no one wants this kind of furniture anymore. We had an old hot tub that need to be removed and I found KT Cleanouts online. After a couple of brief emails we settled on a date and time. We called to have a 18" round pool removed. We had to reschedule because of a death in our family but they had no problem with rescheduling. Originally they had given us a price range. From past experience with other companies I figured some how they would get it up to the higher range. We were eager to coordinate the clean out of a relatives home. The items were in good but dated condition.
