As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by that wonderful smoky barbecue aroma. We looked over the menu board and my wife chose the two-meat platter with ribs and brisket. It came with two sides from the cold case, beans, corn, pickles, and a drink. I ordered the brisket and ham sandwich, which also included two sides, beans, corn, homemade pickles, and a drink. The prices were very reasonable. After selecting our sides, we grabbed a small plate of beans, corn, and homemade pickles and found a seat in the second dining room. The restaurant has a large community table in the front room along with additional seating in the other rooms. Before our main dishes even arrived, we were impressed. The beans and corn had excellent flavor, and I was tempted to go back for more. When our meals arrived, they looked absolutely amazing. My wife's ribs were huge, tender, and practically falling off the bone. Her brisket looked moist and perfectly smoked. My brisket and ham sandwich was piled high and looked just as good.
