I walked in and was greeted with a warm smile and asked what I liked, which is always a good sign. I ordered a cafe mocha breve ( blended) which was creamy, smooth and just the right amount of coffee and chocolate the only complaint was that I could they only offered a 16ounce. The barista was nice, the coffee was good, the vibes were good, but we have to discuss the scone. I am not sure what the thinking was behind the scone recipe but it was not good! In fact, I would venture to say that if probably the worst scone I've ever attempted to eat. The texture was kind of like cornmeal and flour with chocolate chips in it. The caramel drizzle couldn't even save this thing. Cool coffee shop, super nice staff, cool name, bad scone. You guys can do better, I know you can.

I went there last week, it was mid afternoon after lunchtime, I was seated immediately, I had a Pepsi in the Street taco platter and the chips and queso. I was surprised they didn't have Mexican Coke. Every other Mexican restaurant in town does. Oh well. Attentive service, delicious food, reasonable prices. Free parking. It's up on the west side.

This was also on a day that was about 25 degrees, but it didn't make it less good. The price is also not bad. Before finishing the review I kind of forgot and it's been a couple weeks, I returned - yet again in mid-winter during bad snow even, and it was still delicious and didn't even give me brainfreeze or anything. It's even better with mix-ins - though I will say they were rather lazy about doing said mixing in, more like "rolled two times" but it was still tasty. However, because that's a big part of what the place is all about, along with them being rather slow even when it's not too busy, AND them giving one or two small "mix in" pieces/things (i.e. 3 little crumbly bits of cake) they still charge it as a full mix-in if you add something like sprinkles. Hell, sprinkles should be free to begin with, but when you're going to just give me 0.02 cents of "cake" I shouldn't be charged a buck more. These 3 reasons are why it's 4 instead of 5, still great and recommended!

They offered a side of rice as apology (we already ordered chips and guacamole). Had I known when ordering, I would have switched to tacos. My son liked his burrito bowl. I was quite disappointed with my burrito.
