Before Jackson Chastain gives advice on the use of SunScreen he should check with a dermatologist about what should be said. On one of Saturday's evening news cast, he said the we could use less sunscreen when it was cloudy. This is not true. The ultraviolet rays are still there. As a long term dermatology patient having many skin cancers removed over the last 40 years, I speak from experience. When I was growing up there was only white Zinc Oxide or clothing for sun protection. I remember being very excited about Sunscreen with SPF 4 (not a typo) coming out that would protect my family. There are people that take what is said on news casts as Gospel. I would hate to have them misinformed, and Jackson get really bad burns and cancer from following his own advice. Hiring professional reporters would go a long way to getting people to take this station seriously. You seem to assign reporters who are just out of journalism club in high school to important issue stories that they are completely out of their depth on, while you assign obviously experienced reporters to ridiculously nonsensical and unimportant ones. I am very disappointed at the continued editing of political news. This morning you reported on Trumps comments to the "squad" that he said "if you don't like it here, you can leave" You failed to continue that he also said "and then come back and tell us how you did it" meaning, go back, clean up your country and then, please come back and tell us how you did it so we can clean up our country. You continue to be biased in your news. It's absurd. Why can't you just be neutral and tell the whole truth? Channel 2 news is very liberal in their reporting of the news. They slant every story to give the left the best possible advantage. For example, last night Channel 2 news reported that Biden met with the families of the 13 American servicemen who were killed in Afghanistan. They just said that He met with the families trying to make Biden look good. Only one sentence. They failed to report that most of the family members walked out on Biden. Some even yelled, "I hope you rot in hell." They are very angry with Biden. Channel 2 news did not mention that at all and you wouldn't know that it happened if you didn't listen to more objective news outlets. read more

I was a loyal channel 2 news watcher, but i'm not a church person and do not appreciate the prayers they are playing. I thought it was for easter but i am still seeing them. I like to watch Erin and Tom in the morning; they are funny and the banter between them is hilarious and a nice eye-opener in the morning. The news is reported in an unbiased manner. I find them to be personable and friendly to each other and viewers alike. I would have given five stars but I don't care for Wendy Damonte's style. Kristen Remington, Adrianna Bennett (both knock outs in looks & talent ) Great voice Landon Miller and pleasant Ryan Canady. All others are outstanding and know their craft! Lost Wendy Damonte but they made up for it. Best I've seen in 60 yrs San Francisco/Bay Area, Honolulu HI and New York! Fake news? Maybe, but more like a newsmercial. every night there is a story about some worthless low life shoplifter at Walmart in Carson City. Do you think that's because it's newsworthy or because Walmart pays them to air them. And their stories are always 100% rah rah incumbent Reno City Counsel and Mayor. Their weatherbimbo, Mike Alger, is their worst. His sing-song stupidity is a waste of about a third of their "news"cast. From personal knowledge, I do know of one story that they killed that they actually did vet. For that, and because their "news"casters, apart from the weatherbimbo, aren't as obnoxious as the other local stations, they get 3 stars. read more

The current STORY that I've been seeing references, USPS as helping w passports. This seems inaccurate. My passport was a renewal, my son's was a 1st time and neither of us have one. We started the process 5/13/2019, it's now the end of September 2019. Their supervisors or managers couldn't/wouldn't help. I went to the main office as well as my local for assistance. I went through all the proper channels, making phone calls at least 3 dozen times, sent 3 certified letters. If the process can't complete from beginning to end, effectively then, it shouldn't be done at all. Nobody is accountable or cares and I'm the one on the hook for costs. They do not refund money. read more
