Price went up to $2500 Then they found other parts that needed replacement. Ok, we're just below 3,000 Suddenly the bill is over $4900 when we go to pick the car up. Jeremy claims there was additional things they found wrong and that he notified us. (he didn't and these new charges were a surprise) As we start going through the bill, we notice we're being charged for labor and parts that should have been included in the original price for the head gasket. Then, the additional parts are priced at 2-3x what they should be with outrageous labor charges. ($200 in labor to replace a thermostat which takes 10 minutes to remove 2 bolts.) Owner refuses to release the vehicle unless we pay and we have a bunch of back and forth where he starts dropping the price but still wants to charge stupid labor charges and more. Then he pulls up high prices on the computer to justify his high costs. Same parts I found for 1/2 to 1/3 the price. Now we also discover they didn't put certain parts back on the vehicle when they finished and there is a missing exhaust cover. So not only do they overcharge the work is sloppy. I cannot recommend this shop at all. They don't honor their quotes, jack up the price of parts then refuse to release your vehicle until you pay. 0 stars if I could.

He lied to his boss, Kevin Benevides, and they avoided my insurance for almost 40 days. Extremely unprofessional conduct. Through social media, I discovered they have screwed over many different individuals during the past 10+ years. If you use USAA or Triple A, ai highly recommend requesting basically any other tow service on island over these guys!

First time ever filling gas at a Safeway Fuel Station and it happened in Hilo town. So glad I…read morenoticed the low prices when we pass by after stopping at Starbucks. There's no Costco on this side of town so we filled up the rental car here at Safeway, I think it is about the same price per gallon as filling up at Costco. Safeway Fuel station is open daily from 5:00am-11:00 pm, they offer some of the lowest gas prices in town ( I drove by many gas stations and did a comparison) also I think you earn a discount or save on gas for Safeway cardholders. This fuel station has 16 pumps. As of 2/7/26, Current gas prices are: $4.39 for regular, $4.69 for Plus, & $4.99 for premium. My total for fill up was about $17. The lines/wait wasn't long during my visit, it was pretty quick, It is pretty new or I stopped by at a good time. Although I am not sure how the savings work for Safeway cardholders, I didn't enter my phone number for the club savings or how to earn those discount on gas since I saw the ad, next time I'll look in to that. All in all, make a stop here for gas, kill 2 birds while you get your groceries in and savings on gas.

He was professional, courteous, polite, friendly, and efficient. We had our car towed since it stopping running properly. Juan arrived, we told him that the car wasn't running, and he got straight to work, hooked the car up, made room for me to sit in the back while the bf sat in the front passenger seat. We had a fun conversation about how fun it must be to drive the tow truck with manual transmission. The tow truck itself was on the older side. So don't expect a brand new truck if you gotta hitch a ride with the car to your destination. After having car issues, it's the least of our worries. Thank you, Juan. We'll definitely keep the business card and info if we ever need towing assistance again!!

So my husband texted him and said just send it via text....Steve has a major attitude, we're NEVER using his service again! And we still haven't got the receipt..... We did get the receipt, however, the owner still had an attitude. Beware of this guy!!
