I called and spoke with Misty about removing my rear glass on my truck so I could do rust repairs. She was professional and friendly with a can-do attitude. Guys came to my home and removed the glass. Once repairs were made, the guys returned to my home and re-installed the glass, even touched up my amateur repairs. My car got busted into, and my drivers side window was smashed. (Bummer.) Hilo rains, and no window? (More bummer.) Called a bunch of places. Had a hard time getting a call back, from a few (lotsa small mom and pop type shops, understandable) and others didn't have the glass in island. (Further bummer.) I called Jason and he didn't have it either - but was responsive on a Saturday, quick to call back, and so I ordered the glass. It came in ahead of schedule (things are looking up!), and Jason called to get me scheduled - within just a few days. He was more than on time, super professional (and personable!) and quickly installed the window at my location. (Yay. No more bummer. Happy dance instead.) Also, my dog really liked him. (Bonus happy!) Getting your window smashed is no bueno, but in the event that it does - Ambrosio's is a great experience and a family business I cannot recommend highly enough. read more

My daughters windshield had a chip in it, and we just received the car from my dad. It was completely illegal, and needed to get fixed so we could legalize her car. We live in Kona and I called a bunch of places. No one could service us right away. I was referred to them from a Mechanic in Kona. We spoke with Misty, scheduled an appointment and drove the car to there Hilo yard. They went over and beyond and blessed us immensely. Highly recommend. Kona prices are a little high but the convenience is worth it. I had to wait a couple days because he didn't have the size windshield needed for my car, but that is no fault of the business.
