Our daughter loved browsing around, sampling chocolate milk and meat snacks. Our favorite vendors were the homemade pasta guy who we remembered from years ago, a spot that has a bunch of homemade pickles, and lavender flavored honey from a third spot. We bought fresh corn on our way out, definitely noticed a lot of varying price differences for the same items but I guess that's part of the experience! Our daughter had a donut and a hotdog from a food truck during our visit. We spent close to an hour here and I could have spent longer but also probably would have purchased even more goodies... perhaps next time!! A saturday morning well spent.

Yesterday was full of beautiful fall flowers, mostly mums, but several people has succulents which are great all year round. Homemade Bread, rolls, bagels, cookies, cakes,pies.... pretty much anything you could want. Homemade honey, pickles and kimchi. Farms selling lamb, beef and chicken. Homemade cheese and pasta and jams. The vegetables from local farms...some organic. I much prefer buying from the local farmers and not when people are selling out of grocery store bulk purchased boxes.

They should change the name maybe - I didn't really see any farmers or maybe one or two....I mostly look for fresh produce...there is some, but more here are the jams/jellies/baked goods/cheese offerings...and I can get those less expensive elsewhere. Wanted a slice of pizza, but the food truck here only sells whole pizzas? what's up with that? I thought food trucks were for take away foods, not foods you carry home to share with your people. Odd. Back to the regional market for me.

They also have the Kubal Coffee truck. Awesome coffee and customer service. The guy is always friendly and polite. He will make you anything you want. Coffee and shopping to me, go hand in hand. Everyone is helpful, welcoming and available to answer any questions you may have. The freshness of the vegetables is priceless, and so is shopping local and supporting local farmers. I love it! A wide variety of apples were available for picking at $1.30/lb (compared to $3+ at the grocery store). The folks at the counter were super friendly and helpful. We asked a bunch of questions about the methods they use to get such good apples using organic practices and they were happy to tell us about their techniques. If you're looking for a fall festival madhouse you won't find it here... just amazing apples in a gorgeous setting.
