I worked at many different types of preschools and sent my children to a few places. I have three children of my own, so I have done numerous research to send my children to a quality-based school. Out of all the schools I researched and sent my children to, Fairplex CDC has been the best of the best because of what they really strive to be--clean, safe, spacious, engaging outdoor and indoor areas, educated teachers, a high teacher-to-children ratio, communications with the parents, family-engaging events, and the love and care for the families. If you cannot be an honest parent nor work together with the teachers as a team to help your child grow, then this is not the place for you.

We told the director at the time what our situation was and she was ok with it. But soon after they complained every day about my kid just because she didn't like coming in from playing outside. My kid needed a little more prompting when it came to transitions. My kid also had some therapists to come in and work with them. My kid was also not there all day because my kid went to a public preschool in the morning and got dropped off for lunch and the rest of the day at Temple Beth. Teacher Robin absolutely had no patience for my child and she had no poker face about it. After a couple months the director gave me an ultimatum and said if I want my kid to continue at Temple Beth, then someone needs to be with my kid during daycare hours. So what's the point of me paying for this school? Fyi this happened in 2015-2016. I heard that teacher Robin is the Director now and I don't know how that lady got that position. I am so disappointed with this place. I finally got a call back from another preschool/daycare just in time with that ultimatum and left Temple Beth. The other preschool I took my kid to was understanding of my situation and worked with my kids therapists to help them have a successful day. After that, my kid thrived and everything got better.

We joined the waitlist right when their director changed, so there was a little mix up about our spot on the waitlist but Ms Amber was super professional and communicative about helping us sort things out and luckily we got in. We're SO happy with our decision, the staff are wonderful and my daughter is so happy to come to school each day. Not only does she love her teachers and friends, but she knows so much of the staff because they all make it a point to build relationships with the kids. Her teachers are the cherry on top, they plan educational and fun activities for the kids, help the kids feel safe and comfortable (especially for nap which I was nervous about)...I could go on forever about all the great things we love about YMCA, I highly recommend it!
