She creates a warm and welcoming environment where my girls feel safe and supported. One thing we especially appreciate is her excellent communication with us. Ms. Ana is very responsive through WeChat; she provides us peace of mind when we have any questions regarding our kids. Ms Shiela was excellent in introducing both my daughters to writing/math/reading at the beginning of the year. She was able to identify different needs for each of my daughters and created a plan for us to follow at home to reinforce what was being taught at school. The time I had with Ms Shiela in the teacher parent meetings showed me that she really cared about her students and treated them as if they were her own. I am so impressed with my daughters' growth throughout the year; seeing the work they did in class and also the activities they have and are doing now at home is just amazing. We are so grateful to have had Ms. Ana and Ms. Shiela take care of and teach our kids. When he first started, he was really shy, hardly spoke, and would prefer playing and being alone, which was concerning me. However, my son soon began to excel. He's become more social and verbal, constantly learning new things and continuously showing improvement. When I pick him up from school, I love seeing how happy and comfortable he is playing with the other children. He now tells me about his friends and what he did that day, and sometimes, out of nowhere, he'll sing songs he learned at school. The teachers are incredibly kind, caring, and patient with all the children. They genuinely show how much they care for every child's development, well-being, and education. They are always willing to discuss any questions, recommendations, and concerns I or they may have. I appreciate it when the teacher not only informs me of his progress but also points out areas that he needs improvement in. However Ms. Yolanda - whom my daughter affectionately called 'teacher' sometimes - and her staff, were very patient with my daughter. Despite my daughter's neurodivergent traits, her classmates would always greet her with joy, and to me, that's a sign of good students having good teachers who teach them how to be kind and understanding human beings. That's when I found Discovery Christian Preschool (DCP). They checked every single box at first glance. We've been part of the DCP family for about six months now, and unfortunately, we're having to leave only because of the distance. When I first signed my daughter up, I was freshly postpartum and didn't fully realize just how far the drive would be from our home in DTLA (yes, an hour each way!). But even so, we kept her enrolled because we loved the school so much. During her time here, my daughter enjoyed plenty of playtime with friends, great outdoor time, the most creative crafts, and a nurturing environment that made her excited to return every day. She would end the day saying, "I want to go back to school!" She absolutely thrived. This summer, DCP went above and beyond with an amazing summer program -- water days, snowcones, and a fun spirit week where she got to dress up in the best themed outfits. DCP has been such a God-given gift to our family. Miss Yolanda is a bright light -- the most caring director, who truly loves these children as if they were her own. Her passion for early education and her heart for kids are unmatched. And her teachers (shoutout to Miss Jean!) are so so attentive and amazing with all of the children. I'm heartbroken to leave due to the commute, but so grateful for these past six months. DCP is truly one-of-a-kind, and we will miss it deeply.

Under her guidance, he learned all the alphabets, shapes, and colors, and can now count to 20 -- skills I know are often taught in TK. Beyond academics, Ms. Elin always incorporated fun, engaging activities that the kids loved. She also helped my son become more independent with eating, which was something he really needed encouragement in. In the afternoons, when Ms. Elin left, other wonderful teachers stepped in to provide care -- Ms. Silvia, Ms. Christine, Ms. Mary, Ms. Marie and Ms. Nour. My son knows and loves them all. When I once asked my son if there was any teacher he liked the least, his answer was, "no," which says it all!) Last but certainly not least, Ms. Virgine is an incredible director. My son was both a Covid baby (super shy) and a preemie, so I had extra concerns as a first-time mom. One of the main reasons I chose LPG was the smaller class sizes, so he wouldn't be overwhelmed. I was nervous at first, but my worries quickly faded as I watched him grow and thrive. By the time he graduated, he not only had friends in his own class but also knew the names of kids from other classes. Our oldest daughter started here when she was just two and a half, and now our second daughter has gone through the same journey -- and we're already excited to send our youngest soon! What makes Kid Junction so special is the people. Every teacher pours so much love, time, and intention into the kids. They create fun, hands-on activities, celebrate holidays with so much joy, and keep parents updated every step of the way. You can tell this is a place where faith and care guide everything they do. Both of our girls had Miss Sandy, who is truly the best person to care for 2-year-olds -- patient, nurturing, and full of joy. Then they had Miss Susan, who is the sweetest! She helps build confidence in each child and makes every day special (my daughter loves when she pulls out her spray bottle and hair ties to give her a cute little hairstyle!). We also adore Miss Eileen, who does a wonderful job preparing the kids for Kinder she's a TK teacher -- she's caring, creative, and the children can't wait to be in her class. My daughters assessment going into kindergarten, she scored very high on the skills for this grade. It was an easy transition and she thought kinder was too easy she kept asking for more hw!! And holding it all together is Miss Clara, director -- she has the most tender heart and genuine love for children. We've known her for five years now, and her care shines through in everything she does -- her communication, the way she supports the teachers, and the way she continues to check in and send us updates. Overall I'm always blown away how clean everything is! So organized and clean which demonstrates the teachers diligence in providing a safe and modeled classroom. We are so thankful for Kid Junction.
