What I appreciated most was his resourcefulness, ability to connect, and his ability to recite legal code without pause. Dealing with the legal system particularly when it involves a family member with a history of mental health illness is difficult. Having a knowledgeable and patient attorney is critical. Reasonable rates with several payment options. Cons - Once the retainer was paid it became nearly impossible to reach Joe. A Senior Associate was assigned to assist with our sons case. Said associate was dismissive, arrogant, condescending, and unprepared. From the initial conversation it became clear this associate was exactly the opposite of what we wanted in an attorney. Every attempt to reach Joe through his Office Manager and/or Legal Assistant was unsuccessful. It took nearly a week and a follow up call for the docket to reflect a substitution in legal council. Several other incidents revealed a larger firm, creative biographies, and strategic marketing isn't necessarily a reflection of the service you will receive. If you are working with Joe directly without question he is worth the investment.
