KukuMama is a great place for casual drinks and food.
Its a pop up kitchen held in the space of the Hoo Haa bar down on the Windsor part of Chapel st.
I love the menu. It's kind of food truck inspired with dishes that cater for most people as it has a mix of gluten free, paleo and downright delicious deep fried dishes.
We had to get the Cheeseburger dumplings, how could one pass these up? Cheese filled dumplings with a special sauce and pickled gherkin on top - very tasty! We also had to have the Mac N Cheese squared, simply because we LOVED the Mac n Cheese at Morris Jones and Matthew Butcher is the chef here too! The Mac N Cheese here did not disappoint either.
The NYC wagyu burger was spot on too, I'll definitely be coming back for more of that melted cheese & beef goodness.
Aside from delicious street food, Kuku Mama serves great cocktails too. The cocktail menu is fun and there is many to choose from. We were lucky to enjoy 2 for 1 cocktails on the night we dined.
Oh, that's another thing... the pricing here is also great.
