Didn't bring me extra sauce or extra napkins that were asked for. Didn't check on us until later in the meal. What I can say that is positive is that the food was all piping hot. I'm not sure if you can tell by the photos, though, the fries were barely cooked. And the "loaded pierogies" were a deep disappointment, looking nothing like the advertisement. We thought we were going to have melted cheesiness. I would say that the new pierogies are a huge fail. The biggest fear of this restaurant was the service though. The server was clearly irritated and for most of the dinner (which was brief and bracket) the dining room was empty of any staff. I would not recommend and I will definitely not return.

The regular quarter chicken meal had a fist sized chicken leg which looked kind of would feed a five year old child. The fries don't look like it was even fried and the star of the supper was definitely lacking in flavor and roast. The third rack of ribs less tasteless and was barely touched the oven for roasting. Meals were on the almost cold side and all came on robot serve to our table. So disappointing. The server sounded annoyed & basically ignored us and didn't even bring us our utensils. We had to chase her down and our included pie desserts came frozen cold just came out of the freezer solid and inedible. Was not even given another option. Food came quite quickly though. We didn't even get our bowls of water with lemon to clean our hands either. Wow, it felt like you were at a roast chicken McDonalds restaurant even at 4:15 in the afternoon. There were 2 large family style tables of 14 people and 2 rows of at least a dozen people. Mostly kids so it was very noisy so it was hard to enjoy a family meal especially if you have two soft spoken individuals. Overall pretty disappointing. Seem very"fast food"style and not family style.

Popeyes is known for their fried chicken and I've only had it once prior. I decided to get uber…read moreeats and have it delivered to my home. I opted out of the Cajun fries as I've heard they're super greasy and switched to the Mac and cheese option. Chicken burger: Nothing really special. It gets the craving cured and it's just a regular chicken burger. It's pretty good, but i don't really understand the hype for it. To me, it is comparable to a McChicken from McDonald's. 7/10 Mac and cheese: It was kind of cold but after reheating, it definitely isn't bad. Possibly my favourite thing from the order. It's cheesy and soft, has an artificial taste to it but it's good comfort food. 7.5/10 Popcorn shrimp: For an extra 6.99, i didn't expect much from the popcorn shrimp but was still disappointed. It should be called popcorn batter instead. I could barely taste the shrimp as it was mostly batter. It was INCREDIBLY salty, like i couldn't even finish because it was so salty. I had like 3 and didn't finish, and I'm not the type to waste food. 4/10. I would recommend the popcorn chicken instead, that was the only thing i got last time and i liked it. Packaging: I asked for cutleries but didn't get any which is fine because these are all finger food but i hoped to get napkins at least. The packaging was leaking with grease and oil from the food even though all my food were supposed to be in a box and i didn't get fries so I'm not quite sure where it came from as the Box wasn't greasy. Overall, it's ok. Wouldn't really get it but sometimes you just crave greasy food and this gets the job done haha

I usually ask for white meat and pay a little more but the pieces end up having more meat and are much more satisfying. One time when I was there I asked the manager if they had any Cajun Sparkle and he actually gave me one which was the only one he had apparently because normally they don't have that in Canada. I usually get a 3 or 4 piece meal and while it's a completely unhealthy lunch I have fried chicken maybe 4 to 6 times a year so not a biggie...

Such was the case two days ago, but my experience this trip was a little disappointing. We tried ordering online, which was easy even if the layout was a little awkward. Back in the 90's I always ordered my wings "slightly sloppy", which meant a little extra sauce, for a dime extra . This time we ordered "sloppy" per the web option for 49¢ extra, as "slightly" was not there. Big mistake. The wings were virtually swimming in a soup of the various sauces ordered. However, that's our fault since that's what we ordered. I miss the "slightly" sloppy option, though. Fries and onion rings were great all around, and my daughter loved her order of dunkers, but the wings, even without factoring the sauce soup in to the equation, were tiny and...mushy? Yes, mushy, like they had sat around for awhile. Even the wings not ordered with the sloppy option were textured like this. Lastly, the unpleasant young lady working the register was the first negative service experience I've ever had there. We paid her when we arrived, early, and waited in the lobby. 5 minutes later, we are still the only customers there and she wandered out of the back and asked if we'd been helped? I was surprised, and started to answer "Yes, I just paid you 5 minutes ago" But I guess she got bored because she turned and walked behind a wall to the kitchen half way through my sentence. The young man that brought my order out, however, was smiling, polite and friendly. I'm hoping this was just an off night for an establishment I've been enjoying for better than 15 years, and I can adjust my review positively following a future visit.
